Mr. Russell and his assistants were very professional. You could easily see they take pride in their work and are well skilled at their work. All went well with only a few hiccups mainly due to previous remodeling done by a less than professional contractor. Mr. Russell kept me posted on each stage of the reno. He was very meticulous to keep everything clean and dispose of any debris. We are more than pleased with the finished product and are already discussing future work with him. I would recommend Mr. Russell to anyone looking for a skilled, honest contractor for home reno work.

John Russell, president of Russell Building did all the work with the exception of the sub work which he quoted and then managed. We had interviewed multiple contractors and found John to be the most professional, with a reasonable price, and very responsive. He gave us a high confidence level. Our high expectations were then exceeded. As with most remodeling jobs there were numerous issues that arose. John had anticipated them and did not have to add to our cost. Other contractors suggested that there could be unanticipated charges which would be addressed along the way. That made us uncomfortable. Not only did John do an exceptional job, he met the price quote, he was punctual, he finished the job exactly as forecasted, and he made many great suggestions along the way. John is a perfectionist, which is what one wants when doing a project of this magnitude. He "worried" about every detail so that we did not have to. And he found solutions to all the hvac and plumbing and carpentry issues that arose. In the end, we feel that we spent less with Russell Building than we would have with other contractors whose quotes may have been similar but not as inclusive.

John Russell recently did a kitchen renovation for us. He did an excellent job on the project. John was an extremely hard worker and always was punctual and was not over-budget. We have heard it is a nightmare to remodel a kitchen. There are people who suffer as long as six months because the contractor does not show up on a regular basis, but John was completely different and showed up on a daily basis until the job was finished. We were highly impressed with John's work and would recommend him to anyone who is considering a home renovation project.

John did an excellent job was on the job everyday and left the area he worked in cleaner then it was when he arrived. Finished on time and only wish the rest of the house looked as good as the bathroom.
