The provider came out to give an estimate on some jobs I needed done around the house. His estimate came in over my intended price range. He showed up on time, was well prepared and very courteous. He was very professional. I have chosen to seek a refund from Angie’s List.

I found Victor through Angie's list which I am very thankful for. When he came to our place the first time, he understood our customs and offered to remove his shoes. I was really looking for him to give me ideas on how I can use our huge family room and he suggested couple of brilliant ideas which did work for us and the cost of the renovation was also very reasonable and within our bugdet .He and his crew were very professional, helpful and punctual and did an excellent job . In the end Victor and his team also helped us to add a dormer addition to our home which included a new bathroom upstairs for our kids. The cost of the whole project was within our budget and we are really happy with the work that he has done for.I have other plans for my kitchen and would not hesistate to call him again . Overall I would recommend him and his team for any remodelling work and the rare reviews that I have received from our friends and folks who passed by our home during the construction is proof enough about his work.

Pro Home Builders & Remodeling have been wonderful. They're very reliable. They're on time and do what they say they're going to do. They're also very conscientious.

Work was not completed by them. Job was very time sensitive and they could not meet our tight schedule needs. Quote was received several days later. At that point I already had contracted someone else who had completed the job.

Victor and Team provided excellent service. They listen well, provide ideas and complete the work on time and on budget. They inform in advance any difficulties they see with the work and are also incorporate last minute changes. Would happily work with them again in future projects. Overall very happy with the work and Victor's professionalism.

We had a great experience with Victor and his company. After months of calling people who either did not return our calls or show up to provide an estimate, we contacted Victor who returned our call and showed up to give an estimate when he said that he would. Our project was completed in less than a month from the time we first called him. Victor is professional and showed up each day to review the work completed by his employees and ask if we were happy or had any questions. We will definitely call Victor in the future for any work we need done at the house and have recommended him to friends.

When Victor first came to my house, he offered to take off his shoes even though my first floor was entirely tiled and no need to do that. I was then impressed by his action and believed that he cared about the home owner's house if I would give him this project. From then on, Victor came by my house a few times and reviewed everything on his itemized contract and answered all my questions and concerns. Victor and his crew were always punctual, professional and efficient. During the construction period, any problem or question we had, he was always there to listen and tried his effort to correct problems. He was always accessible through phone, email and text message and his working hour was beyond 9am and 5pm. Victor has very good sense as far as connecting new section to the old section of the house with his knowledge and experience. He designed a bridge, which well connects the new second floor to the existing second floor over the top of our old roof. He made it possible to joint the two sections consistently and none of the section looks differently from each other. Victor posed himself as a project manager and he went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. He kept up with his schedule. With a lot of rainy days in May, he kept up with his timetable by sending his crew working over holidays and weekends when needed. It took him 3 months to complete building my addition with moving in condition for the first floor, just as he promised, not a day less nor a day more. Everything came out beautifully. I called contractor to talk about the job I needed done. Owner was short with me on the phone, then had to get off phone and promised to call back within an hour - and never did. Would not recommend.

My fiancé’s father used them multiple times and had had fabulous results with him. But we had problems with him. Our bathroom seems to be okay now but it took a lot of effort from us. I disliked that he sent in people who didn’t know completely what they were supposed to be doing. I liked when he was there. If he wasn’t there then we had problems. If he wasn’t there supervising the project, his workers were moving around as they wished and it took a toll on our project. We would hire Pro Home Builders again if they focus on just Connecticut.

They were good. They did an excellent job. Was on time and finished when he said he would. I would definitely use him again. Did a great job!

From the initial quote to the end job, Victor and his crew were professional, responsive, and absolutely a joy to work with. They provided explanations every step of the way, and no job was too small for them to do. with me at exactly the time he agreed to, sat down and explained not only the job but the pricing. He took my general description of what I wanted to do with the kitchen and returned the next day with a complete set of drawings as well as a proposed price. He designed my dream kitchen! We worked with the components until it fit into my budget,. After we agreed on price, Victor set up an appointment for me to pick out appliances, color schemes etc, and promised demolition would start the following Monday. Since I am decoratively "challenged", Victor stayed with me each step of the way on appliances etc. Demolition started promptly when Victor promised. His crew was professional, and knowledgeable. They started promptly at their start time, took only a lunch break and often stayed past normal stop time AND worked on weekends. Each day before they left, they cleaned the demolition area, and put away all tools, etc. I really appreciated these guys and their diligence. Victor went the extra mile, came often to the job site, and was always available when I had a question. Pro Home Builders stated that the job would probably be completed within 6 weeks, if nothing unexpected happened. Not only were they finished BEFORE the six week time period. . . BUT, they came in exactly at budget. Frankly you hear about construction companies that exceed budget, but Victor billed me every week, and added NOTHING other than if I executed a change order. I was so happy with the remodel, I had them contracted them to re-roof the house while they were on site. They were quick, efficient, and the price was fair. They removed all the old tiles, cleaned up litter and did it in record time. . . As a result, I have this extraordinary kitchen and new roof - all within budget! While I have added pictures, it probably helps to explain that I inherited my childhood home. is a very small ranch that is approximately 70 years old, and had not been updated since the 1970s or 1980s. As a result, the house now feels twice as big and has a very open floor plan. . all I had hoped to accomplish, and with Victor's help did. I would absolutely recommend this firm to others. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Next year when I do additional work on the house, it will be with Victor and Pro Home Builders!

I have been very pleased with them. They were very professional. They quickly took care of any corrections to their work that needed to be done without a problem. I would definitely suggest that you check them out.

Victor came to meet us in person before he began the work at the house and from the first meeting we knew we could trust him. He was open and honest about the quote and worked with us on the final price. We were on a very tight budget since we had just purchased the home and were still renting an apartment for the month while we finished up the renovations. The guys got started right away on installing the new flooring and then refinished some pre-finished hard wood that was already in the house. I was highly impressed with how quickly all the flooring went in. We had a few issues with the polyurethane drying correctly, but Victor made sure that it was corrected and the final product was fabulous. After the guys had started the floors, my husband and I started to get some other quotes on doing painting as well. Victor offered a quote and was very competitive so we decided to use his guys for this part too. He also worked within our timeline to finish all the work before the last weekend in October so we could move in on time. While I think the guys he had on the job were very professional, I think the painting job ended up being bigger than expected, which meant they had to rush towards the end. I'm still finding areas where the edging was not as good as it could have been, or spots where holes were not patched before painted over. Overall though, I think they did a very good job for the price, and finishing in our timeline was very important to us. I also can't stress enough how responsive Victor is during the entire process. Every email and text message I sent was replied to almost immediately. I always felt like I could count on him to answer or fix whatever issue came up.

Victor ran into financial difficulties. We were hearing his workers talking about money issues. When we tried to contact Victor, his voicemails were full, the fax would not take messages & our requests to the workers to have Victor call or come to our home to speak to us we're not responded to. We refused to let the workers in our home until Victor came to speak to us. He did come by and assured us that our job would be completed as planned. Soon after, we had two liens put on our home. While we had paid Victor , he was not paying his suppliers. The small lien we paid off immediately. There was a larger lien of $23,000. We had to hire an attorney. This was an additional cost of $ 8,000. Check ctjudicial.com. There were several cases , some as recently as this year. Search under, party name...Victor Rosado, Rosado Builders, Professional Home Builders. Victor states, he started with a fresh new name in 2008. He needed to start with a new name. When he says he works as if God was standing over his shoulder...I feel he takes on each job as if he is God. His actions during our job speak volumes about the type of man Victor is. The time that I should have been spending with my mother and helping her were instead fighting o protect my home. I spent six months with lawyers and court appointments that were totally due to the decisions Victor made to accept our payments but not pay his suppliers. The end result was that while he completed most of the project, the work was in no way the quality that we hoped for nor the quality that he professed to provide. Victor's mission to create something that will be there long after he is gone..is a joke. Our project is less than six years old. I assure you we have had many repairman out in that short time to correct his shoddy work. Good luck if you choose to use a contractor like this. The experience of working with him was very stressful. It was an experience that I would hope no one would ever have to go through!!

We liked Victor right away and opted to use him after meeting with numerous other contractors because we liked him the most and liked the way he itemized his estimate. Project started on time and moved forward very quickly - his work crew is very nice and easy to have around. It was amazing to come home each day and see the vast amount of progress they made, despite inclement weather. Everything ran on schedule (often ahead of schedule) and Victor was very responsive to our many newbie questions. So far the overall quality of the finished product appears to be very good - although we did have to work with Victor on some minor corrections/fixes along the way (we have extraordinarily high standards but he was always receptive to our concerns and willing to correct any problems quickly and effectively). We graded the price a "B" only because we recognize that a lot of the items/services were marked up above and beyond the "overhead/profit" listed on the estimate/invoice (we discovered this after working on some unrelated projects with two of the subcontractors he'd used - what was billed to us for their services was not what he actually paid them). Being new to big projects like this, we realize it's probably par for course when working with a general contractor - and the convenience/peace of mind knowing he was managing all the individual subcontractors was important to us. Nonetheless, it's a little disheartening to learn that subcontractors might not be receiving payment for their services soon after we paid for them or for the full amount we actually thought they were receiving. Again, we're new to big projects like this so maybe it's all something that's status quo. I will say that Victor stuck to his price and did not come back and say he needed more money at any point. This was VERY important to us. He seems to be an honest guy who stands by his word.The only other minor gripe was that toward the end we kept hearing that the project would be done by that Friday only to find out that it would be the next Friday, etc. This went on for around three weeks. I think this was probably really frustrating because by all intents the job appeared to be 95% done and after seeing how much progress these guys made every day we couldn't figure out why it was being dragged out. So Victor and his team spoiled us during the first month or so I think. Overall, we are VERY happy with how the house looks and how the project came out. People stop by every time we're out in the yard (we're still watering the yard, painting the doors/trim/the front door entry, cleaning up, etc. so we're outside a lot) people stop by constantly to tell us how great it looks. I think anyone who hires Victor and his team will be happy with the end result.

They were here when they said they would be, including weekends. Their price was very good compared to the other contractors and their workmanship was very good. Any problems were corrected right away and they were very responsive. The owner was here on the job site on a daily basis. We will continue to use them in the future.

Overall, the work on our home is exceptional. We believe Professional Home Builders stands by their company description. Everything is spelled out and itemized. The cost is accurate and they stay true to the original costs. If anything changes it is optional for the home owner and you are allowed to make your own decisions without pressure. The work is consistent and the quality measures up tremendously. The crew consists of professional tradesman who follow through with Victor's plan which shows in their work. They showed up on time and cleaned up before they went home. Altogether we feel this is an honest company and we will be using Professional Home Builders & Design LLC for all of our contracting needs. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs Mike Gomez

I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. I THOUGHT THAT THE OVERALL SERVICE OF THE COMPANY WAS GOOD. THE PEOPLE CAME IN AND GOT THEIR PART OF THE JOB OUT THE WAY AND THAT WAS THAT.
