The service went great. I had them install a dining room chandelier. The technician completed the work in about 2 hours. He did a great job, was personable and friendly. I had no problem scheduling the deal and he showed up right on time.

Very professional and very strong attention to detail. Chris made certain the job was done with best placement possible and no wall repair for us to follow up with. I will call again if I need electrician and plan to recommend to others.

Chris was very nice, helpful and very responsive but I was not happy with the work performed. We wanted a new light installed near our front door, saw Chris' deal on Angie's List and decided to buy it. Chris was very responsive and helped us a great deal with recomendations for what type of light to buy. We puchased what we thought was everything we needed for the job to be done then scheduled a time with Chris. The morning of the project came and Chris was right on time. So far everything is looking good. I talked to Chris, showed him what I wanted done and stressed that a big concern of mine was making sure the light was level because it was being mounted over our siding. He assured me that he will do the job right. He said he had to run to Home Depot (less than a mile away from our house) to buy a piece to allow him to mount the light properly and a 3 switch light switch, so he left. A little while later he came back and showed me the plaque he bought to mount the light and it didn't look right but he assured me it was. Then he did the job. I was happy with what Chris did inside the house. The wiring all looked good, though he was only jumping off an exisiting switch so there wasn't much to do inside. The new switch he installed looked good and worked well too. The light outside was horrible though. The mounting plaque he bought ended up being for the wrong type of siding, though he never admitted that and just went ahead with using it. He tried to modify the plaque to try and make it work but he did that poorly, it looked crazy. He also had to cut a hole in the middle of the plaque so the wires could go through it and attach to the light. He cut the hole so big that the base of the light wouldn't even cover it. In addition to all of this, he did not use any caulk to seal up where the light and the house met. The light also ended up being on a 1/2" tilt. It just looked horrible and was vulnerable to leaking. In the end we bought the correct plaque, some caulk and had our neighbor mount the light correctly. We are now happy with the light. In addition to not being happy with Chris' work, I was not happy with how much it ended up costing us. I was charged $65 for additional material (which I think really only cost half that .. if) and charged for his time over the two hour Angie's List deal (half of which was spent at Home Depot). So, we thought we were getting a great deal ($99 for 2 hours of electrian labor .. which should have been enough for a simple light install with jumping off an exisiting switch) ended up costing us way too much. Chris' services alone, with the Angies's List deal and the $65 of material expenses he charged us for, cost us $375. We hired another electrian (after this job was done) that did an amazing job installing 4 new outlets and he only charged us $320 for all labor and all material. I hesitated writing this review for a few months now because I liked Chris and didn't want to leave a negative review, but I value the service Angie's List provides to us members and felt I needed to be honest with the work he did. In the end, I felt I was overcharged and wasn't happy at all with the finished job. I would not hire Chris again.

It turned out fine and Chris was good to work with. His responsiveness was really good and he was on-time for the work. He worked hard to get the work done and there were no problems with scheduling.

Chris was great! We had to replace every outlet in our house after a small electrical fire due to loose outlets. He was by far the cheapest and easiest to work with. He contacted us promptly, was able to come within a week and worked quickly. We will be having him back to install ceiling fans and change out some light fixtures. He was a pleasure to work with.

They got the job done but I am not it was a quality job and I don't think I will go for them again. the cost was good that's why I bought it.

Chris gave up and left as if there was nothing more that could be done. After a bit, I was able to reach the lighting company who assured me there was nothing wrong with the fixture. I then started to investigate on my own. Sure enough the fixture ($112, so not an inexpensive fixture), was just fine. There appeared to be 2 small nuts on one of the screws which may have been partially responsible for the plate not fitting properly. I can only assume that the only possible way they could have gotten there, was that he placed one on top of the other by mistake. The other issue being that the size of the whole he cut in the ceiling was slightly too large, although not enough that we couldn't get the plate to stay, though rather loosely. Next, although he seemed to think we might be missing parts, I located them right inside the glass shade!! I don't know if he placed them in there, but in any case, I would think he would have had to see them in there when attempting to place the shade inside the frame and then onto the wall plate. At any rate, my husband had it put together in about 10 minutes when he returned home. I thought it very unprofessional that he would just pack up and leave without investigating further or waiting for me to reach customer/technical support. We paid him $99 through Angie's list and an additional $!55 on the day he did the "work". Although he was a really nice guy, I am very sorry to say that I was very disappointed in his work and lack of professionalism.

It went very good. It was a quick job and he did it efficiently. I would recommend him.

Everything went well and the outlet is being used for a coffee/tea bar which we love! We were very impressed. Arrived on time, answered our questions. Was very kind and definitely knows his stuff! It turned out fine. They completed the task in 8 hours. There were no issues. They're very good in contacting. It backlogged them two months to get to do the work.

I purchased the Electrician for the day deal. Chris contacted me the day after the purchase to see what services I would need done. He was already booked several weeks out but it was OK since we were not in any emergency situation. Chris called the weekend before he was scheduled to come out to confirm the appointment and the work being done. He was very detailed, professional and finished the jobs we asked for. Would recommend him for future work.

I bought the 2-hour special. Chris was a really nice guy. He arrived early, worked neatly, and fixed everything to our satisfaction. No complaints and I'd definitely hire him again.

He was very confident when he came out. The only problem was that I did not feel as if I utilized him for the time period that I had him for. In the future I would plan ahead and make a list so that I can get my money's worth.

Everything went great. The electrician that showed up was very good. I was quite pleased with him. He was pleasant to work with, and showed up exactly on time!

It was the appointment that almost didn't happen, due to my crazy work travel schedule. But Chris and I remained in touch to be able to work out a time when he was available and I was in town. Chris was punctual, friendly, professional and clean. I would recommend Chris as well as use him again.

It took him 2 months to make an appointment. Half of what I wanted done, he couldn't do. He stayed for about an hour. He came 2 or 3 weeks later and spent an hour fixing a fan. He helped me install two lights. When I called to see if he is going to finish the 8 hours that I had paid for, he said he wouldn't come back. He simply consulted on the phone about what we should buy. He refused to come and do more work for us. My husband asked if he would do more work or give us a partial refund, but he stated that he had already done the work.

He was very good; the job he did was excellent. And I would recommend him.

He was punctual, neat, and even followed up after the job.

I needed an electrical outlet installed in a weeks time. After I purchased the big deal on 10/4 and tried to schedule, the contractor gave me a date of 11/25. This is too late for my needs and I want to cancel the order and get my money back. I got another contractor from Angie's list that was able to install the outlet within my time frame.

I needed the work done by the end of November and he was booked until December. He was nice when we talked but we couldn't get things scheduled. I am requesting a refund.
