I am a licensed electrical contractor and home improvement contractor. I am a veteran with a disability from the first Gulf War. I provide honest opinions and quality work. I won't sell you something you don't need. I don't have employees so my rates are much lower than a big contractor. I clean up when I am finished and respect you and your property. Award winning.

Description of Work: I used the $99 deal on angie's list and had a chandelier replaced/installed and a two-prong outlet converted to three prong. Great service and value. Very punctual and responsive. Polite and efficient. Would definitely use again!

Description of Work: I used Additional Help (Chris Siebert) via a $99 special for 2 hours of electrical work. Chis called me shortly after I purchased the work and we eventually set up a day and time (the delay was my fault). We reviewed in advance what I wanted Chris to do, and he arrived right on time. He did three jobs: 1) install a new thermostat; 2) fix the timer connected to a lamppost; and 3) figure out why I was constantly getting power fluctuations, manifested my light dimming, apparently unrelated to the turning on of appliances. The first two tasks were quickly addressed and the last involved checking the power coming into the two trunk lines. He found an imbalance in the power, which was later confirmed by the electric company. I still have the problem, but it's one that has to be fixed by the electric company. I was happy with Chris's work and would use him again.

Description of Work: Performed a complete inspection of the house's electrical system, including panel, outlets and placement of smoke detectors. Did find one outlet that does not work due to incorrect initial wiring. Correcting that will have to be a second project due to the time involved.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List special deal. Chris showed up on time (in Enfield) for a review of the wiring in an old basement reno project. He checked the panel, GFIs, outlets, reviewe visible wiring and gave me good advice on proceeding with some updating.
