Right from my initial call through window installation they all were professional, trustworthy and wonderful to work with. In fact, I have found more work for them to do and have hired them again!

The job took longer than originally anticipated - basically because the person who comes to your house to discuss the job with you is not the same person who actually does the work. However, the men who did the work did an outstanding job even though our house is sort of atypical. They were punctual and professional. Probably not the cheapest company you can go with, but I am confident in the quality of their work.

Work was started on Aug 15th and completed on the 19th. During the installation a number of sills etc were found to be rotted therefore increasing the scope of the original job. The two installers, Ron & Norm were terrific. They were hard working, neat, meticulis and always kept us apprised of any issues. We would highly recommend this company and especially Ron and Norm.

The project went very smoothly. We liked being able to see examples of different kitchen materials in their showroom, which is very nice and uncluttered. Rather than offering you lots of choices in cabinet manufacturers they offer one good one, which was fine with us. Sometimes you can get overwhelmed by too many choices. We were able to select a cabinet style and finish that ultimately went perfectly with the rest of our house. The quotes were reasonably priced, clearly defined, and timely. Some other supplier's quotes were very vague and opened up too much opportunity for misunderstanding between the buyer and the seller. Fiderio was very explicit about what was and was not included in the price which gave us a level of comfort that there were no hidden extras, and there weren't. Their sales staff was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. We enjoyed working with them. The installation crew was very experienced and left the work space tidy every evening. Their subcontractors for the counter top and back-splash were equally skilled and professional. As with any project of this scale there are always a few punch list items which Fiderio took care of in a timely manner without hassle. We were thrilled with the end product and would be happy to do business with them again.

I phoned Fiderio and Co. for an estimate. A polite salesman came up promptly and gave me a reasonable estimate for the repairs. Once I booked the repair a mason came within the week to do the job. The job was well done.

Overall my experiences with this company were excellent. My bathroom took at least two weeks to complete. Everyone from the carpenters to the tile people to the electricians were very professional, neat, and cleaned up before they finished for the day. Beth, the woman who helps design the bathroom was there every step of the way and any concerns we had during the process she fixed. We were pleased with the whole experience.. Good people to do business with. The roofers were great. They arrived on time, worked fast and cleaned up everyday before they left. The foreman would keep me up to date on anything that needed to be replaced (rotted plywood) by showing me pictures before he replaced the wood just to make sure that I saw that they were not replacing good wood and to get my approval. The chimney person did what was needed to be done fast and efficiently. The skylights were replaced before the roof was put in and so far I have not had any leaks from my skylights or my roof. We had a leak from one of the new bathroom vents and we called Fiderios and they sent someone out to repair it right away with no questions asked. I also had a downspout come loose from the gutter after my roof was replaced and one call and someone was sent out to fix it again with no questions asked. A competitive and reasonable and reliable company to do business with.

Very prompt and punctual. Changed our mind on a few options and Fiderio's was very easy and cooperative with these changes. They even let me do wallpapering before the installation of the toilet. The original contract had the installation of a pocket door. Unfortunately the moving of water pipes and electrical wiring did not make this cost effective. They helped with designing an alternative option with a glass etched door,which was purchased by me. They installed the glass door and a credit of $1500.00 Bottom line we got the desired results and saved money. After the tile floor was installed a severe creak developed near the threshold of the door.Even though the balance was paid Fiderio's came out immediately and fixed the problem. Can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Jonathan, Fred and Jersey.

They were fantastic. They were easy to work with and they said they did what they said they were going to do. They weren't the cheapest but I went with them because they seemed like a good company and were highly rated. They are very accommodating.

Took much longer than expected-9 weeks. There were days that they did not show up to work at all, and could offer no explanation. They were very nice, and I thought had a good attitude, returned phone calls promptly. Workers on site very nice and respectful HOWEVER- the cost was astronomical for the size of the space, and that fact that no plumbing lines were moved. We did not replace any appliances, so that was not the reason for the cost. I was really disappointed in the shoddy bits of work that kept showing up after the job was done. The light switches still give us trouble, there were bits of moulding that kept coming loose, a drawer fell apart so many times in the 1st 6 months that my husband basically rebuilt it.All the knobs on the new cabinets fell off and couldn't be fixed, so we had to replace them. The heat register under the cabinets was never cut out properly so we weren't getting the amount of heat we needed for the room. We had a friend come in and diagnose the problem and fix it The new laminate fl.oor is lifting in places. We did call the company once early on about the light switches, but then the problem seemed to fix itself, so we didn't follow up-my fault-they have given us trouble ever since. Althought they were very nice and had a great reputation, and they can show you beautiful photos of past work, our experience with them was really sub-par and I wouldn't use them again. The whole ordeal was eye-opening and disappointing.

I had a very good meeting with John Fidero. It was very educational. He was very free with the information he had. He was informative. However, his quote was high for me. I had five different quotes and his was by far the highest. I have already recommended him to other people just because he seemed like a very thorough person. He answered any questions that I had. The price was the only thing that stopped me from using him. I would have used him in a second if it wasn’t for the price.

Contractor told me would not be able to come out to look at the job contended was too busy.

We just had him come out for the estimate and we did not go with them. We just wanted the estimate at that time. We got the feeling that they expected us to sign the contract right there that day. They came out pretty fast. We will not consider them for a quote in the future.

They were very good about it. They are a great company, they do good work, they are efficient, and they are very good.

I had storm damage to both my (detached) garage and house roofing and both needed complete replacing. There were three layers of shingles, and the gutters were so old that once removed, would be unfit. Fiderio & Sons gave me a good price to replace the roofing (arch. shingles), including all new gutters. They weren't the lowest bid, but were far from the highest, and their professionalism and knowledge made me feel very comfortable. I decided to also have my chimney rebuilt at the same time, but hired my own mason. My contact at Fiderio handled the coordinating of timing with my mason, and he took over discussions with my insurance adjuster. I had just started a new job and it was a huge relief to me to be able to hand all this over to him, knowing that through his vast experience and his professional demeanor he would make a good impression on the adjuster. The roofers came on time, worked every day for four days from 7am until 5pm with a 10 minute break. They worked hard and they did a beautiful job. When the old gutters came off, the wood fascia unexpectedly needed to be replaced, which they did without additional charge to me. I couldn't be happier with the experience and the quality of the work.

Overall, it went good. Everything was perfect.

They came out quickly to do the estimate, but told me they would not be able to fix the problem. They seemed more interested in replacing my whole roof rather than doing a repair. He did not get on the roof to look at where there might be a problem even after I showed him inside where the water was leaking in.

Their quality was excellent. They were a little pricey, but they did do some extra work. They were on time and were here every day until the work was done.

Excellent job on all fronts. When there were problems with the bathroom, they would work at it to resolve immediately. We have a very old Victorian home that offered more challenges than the lay person could imagine, slanted floors and walls, house off-kilter, odd size windows and doors, etc. Where needed they created and crafted custom woodwork (corbel to my picture of some I liked, matched the door frame on front door to match the wood trim in the rest of the house (original trim). Nothing was too difficult for them to tackle. -What also stands out in my mind is how they made sure each evening we had a toilet to use. It was the only toilet in the house. That involved extra work and care for them, but there was no extra charge for us. They came when they said they would, called with any changes in times, etc - when they start a job - they stay with that job until it is finished - you don't have to while they work on other jobs during yours. And the clean-up each night was spectacular! Very courteous. Very reliable and responsible. We used them later to replace our roof.

I was very happy with them. They were very professional and did a good job. We had them come back in July or august to put siding as well. They were down to earth and they explained everything. We will definitely use them again. The quality of the work they did was very good. I rate them high overall.

Overall price and workmanship were pretty good. Punctuality in general was ok, but there were significant time lags between different legs of the remodeling effort to the extent that the job took ~6 weeks to complete. There were a no. of teething problems (ceiling stains from leakage during bathroom demoing and shower handle leak on first use). All of these were dealt with though it did take a nearly two weeks to complete repairs. As a consequence all in all we were without out en suite shower for 8 weeks during construction.

They are great to work with - and were able to provide a detailed estimate and answer our questions in a very timely fashion. We did have to wait a while for our windows to arrive - and had to follow-up with our sales person - but he was very helpful and apologized for the delay. I would definitely call them again in the future for remodeling and window/door replacement.

He couldn't believe the work that was done. When the first carpenter did it he put the hinges on crooked. The new carpenter took everything apart and completely remade the doors with T111 siding and they look very nice now. I appreciate John coming out to take a look and eventually fixing the work.

My wife and I think the entire experience went very well. We understood that the start date would range from the beginning of June until the end and so the contract had specified a longer duration in case existing jobs Fiderio was working on pushed the start to the end of the month. I followed up with them once a week to determine the start date and the owner John always returned my calls promptly to discuss what the schedule was looking like. Once we had a date, we were contacted on when and what to expect the first week by the Project Manager. The crew arrived on time, was extremely courteous and willing to talk about what the plans were. The site lead was great. He always kept us up to speed on what they were planning to do for the week and what we needed to do to keep everything going on time. My wife and I were amazed at the speed that this was all completed. Keep in mind that they cut into our roof, framed in the new part of the dormer, framed in the bedroom, completed electrical, sheet rock and carpeting within one month! Were very pleased with that anticipating an end of August completion. Everything that Fiderio said they would do they did. The crew cleaned up every day, kept the outside picked up and John worked with us as we wanted to change some aspects as the job went along. In all I would highly recommend them and I certainly plan to use them again.

He was fine. He was neat, clean and efficient. We got a few estimates and the price was absolutely fair.

Fiderio drafted plans for our approval. Assisted us with selection of flooring (beech), bathroom tile (marble), bathroom fixtures, and roofing (Certainteed). Installed concrete foundation. Framed, sided, and roofed. Ripped and re-roofed entire house . Installed Bilco access to basement and new doors and windows. Wired and plumbed. Installed skylight over breakfast area and SunTube over bathroom. Built small deck at entrance. Insulated exterior surfaces and sheetrocked/taped. Installed new gutters and routed drains to subsurface dry well. Demo'ed existing tile floor in family room and installed hardwood flooring throughout master bedroom, breakfast area and family room. Installed and grouted tile flooring in master bath and powder room. Installed door, window and baseboard trim. Installed bathroom vanities and towel bars, etc. Cleaned up interior and worksite. All Fiderio staff (administrative and all workers (inc. subcontractors) were friendly, courteous and professional. Everyone was concerned with giving us what we wanted - and took great pride in doing quality work. The overall experience was wonderful. No headaches - the Fiderio people anticipated problems and worked to avoid them. We paid more than we could have - but it was most certainly worth it. Quality work, personable workers, and a major project that had as little stress on us as possible. We would pick Fiderio again - in a heartbeat.
