He showed up when he said he would; david and his workers started early(7 am) each morning and showed extreme professionalism and knowledge. David also was very good with design and provided ideas to me that I did not think of..... I would most definitely recommend him to friends and family and I would most definitely use him again. When they were done, they cleaned up thoroughly. If a change had to be made, David communicated and showed me what and why.

I would highly recommend David! I was tasked with selling a decrepit family home whose curb appeal verged on embarrassing. I found David on Angie's List, explained the situation and that I needed the job done quickly. He visited the house, designed a new porch surface/step/walkway and in a matter of days, he removed old cinder blocks, flagstones and make-shift steps and transformed the area into the talk of the neighborhood. After seeing how beautiful the front porch was, I asked him to install a fire pit in the back yard (a deal he was offering on Angie's List) and again, that was put in right away, it's beautiful and exactly on budget.

They had to excavate quite a bit since our yard is on a slope. The first few days were excavation and prep. I can tell that the drainage was done very well since that's what too the longest. In the end, they handled all the curveballs and special requests very professionally and reasonably. We're very happy with our patio.

This company has been around for years and is by far the best in service and quality. This is our second project with Chaput Natural Stone & Pavers LLC and it was great. In 2010 we had them install a smaller, simple, inexpensive paver patio with a fire pit in our old home and was very impressed with the quality. We moved in 2012 to our new home and wanted a much larger paver patio with some added features and a nicer stone. We decided to shop around as we did the first time and Dave was by far the best to deal with. His attention to detail cannot be replicated by others. He creates a design based on his years of experience and provides you with a great package. He will come to your home and layout the project in paint to give you a feel for what he is proposing and gives you time to think about it. No pressure on making a decision or even selecting him. Once he starts, you'll be impressed. There were several instances where he or his team put pavers down and picked them back up because it was perfect. There is a sense of pride in the workmanship his team provides which I have not seen very often in other contractors. Dave was very responsive to our communications (via email or text). He started when he committed to start and finished as promised (one week). Our backyard was transformed and we love it. I highly recommend Dave Chaput for stone or paver work. You will not be disappointed.

Dave was punctual with our estimate and gave us suggestions of what would look the best and fits our vision for our home. When we called him with questions, concerns, ideas or changes he responded promptly and took time to answer our questions. He arrived ahead of schedule to do the install. This was a pleasant surprise. Dave and his crew arrived early and worked long days to finish the project in a timely manner, ahead of schedule. They were professional and demonstrated exceptional and outstanding work ethics. Our patio and front walk way look amazing and add curb appeal to our home. We have had our experience with contractors and this was by far the best experience. We plan on hiring Dave again to do blue stone to our front porch. You can expect a job done right when working with Dave.

It was an excellent job from start to finish. While he was more expensive than other estimates we obtained, the additional cost was well worth it. At one point during the project we were concerned with the condition of the yard as a result of his machinery. However, he left our property better than he found it without my ever commenting on it.. The end result of his work was nothing less than impressive.

Dave and his crew were excellent!! My wife and I are thrilled with the end product that was produced. It was no easy task as our front lawn is on a rather steep hill; and Dave and his crew worked long days (even on the weekend) to get our new paver stairs complete. His suggestions and design were excellent. The attention to detail was seen throughout the project and the results. Thanks again Dave!!

That went well. One employee came out and took measurements. We talked about options. He was pleasant to deal with. He was also helpful and patient.

Contractor was punctual and very friendly on the date of the appointment for the Estimate. However, he has failed to submit the written estimate within the week that it was promised. He has not submitted the Estimate to date which is quite disappointing and did not contact me to explain that it has been delayed.

Dave Chaput was the first person we called for this project since he had done extensive work for us previously. That job included a new driveway of pavers, and an outstanding hardscape incorporating a bluestone patio, fieldstone wall and water feature. While installing those he also corrected a longstanding drainage issue. All work was done with careful attention to detail, thorough site preparation, on time and on budget. Dave's creative design transformed our property into a private and peaceful retreat. As expected, the current project went smoothly. Communication and planning were promptly handled and the job performed to our satisfaction, again on time and on budget. We highly recommend this business.

I have used Dave's services myself and will express the same accolades. I have had the same work done by other masons and the previous work was messy and not effective. DAVE WAS FANTASTIC FROM START TO FINISH (2 WEEKS). BETWEEN THE INITIAL WALK THROUGH TO THE FINAL PAVER BEING LAID DAVE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE TO ALL MY QUESTIONS AND REQUESTS. THE PATIO IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. HE ACTUALLY FINISHED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, THERE ARE NOT TO MANY PEOPLE THAT CAN SAY AND DO JUST THAT. I KNOW BY ALL THE PREP WORK HE DID THAT MY PATIO WILL BE AROUND FOR A VERY LONG TIME. IT HAS ADDED VALUE TO MY HOME AND WILL BE A LARGE PART OF OUR DAILY LIVES EATING AND HANGING ON OUR 1000 SQ FOOT PATIO. THANKS DAVE FOR SUCH A GREAT JOB AND ALL THOSE ADDED TOUCHES YOU CAME UP WITH. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING A PATIO, WALKWAY, STAIRS, DRIVEWAY AND OR RETAINING WALL.

David was very responsive throughout the entire process from quotation through design and construction and always addressed all questions or concerns promptly. The quality of his craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch. He is very focused on not only providing a functional work product but also something that will be visually stunning within the agreed to budget. To the extent there were unexpected items that needed to be addressed that were not contemplated in the quotation, David addressed them as they came up and did not wait until the end of the project. He and his crew worked long hard days and always cleaned up after themselves and ensured I was happy with the progress and product they were producing. I would not hesitate to use Chaput again to the extent I have additional projects.
