I could not be happier with the result of the work done. They started on Wednesday and said it would be Friday or Monday before they finished. I let them know we had a party Friday night and as a result he came back and made sure it would be ready for then. That's dedication and commitment to your customers and their needs. The craftsmanship and final look is stunning - so glad we decided to do this project and hire Chaput for the job! I would highly recommend!

Dave and his worker did an awesome job for us building a patio and firepit where there used to be an above ground pool. We truly enjoy this and they left the site clean too! I would use them again.

We hired Chaput to repair a small retaining wall made from stacked slate pieces without mortar, but after discussion, we realized we would be better off with a new wall built with mortar. Chaput gave us a choice of stone and build a beautiful and sturdy wall. They were careful of our nearby plantings. They built in drainage that works very well. Everything, in fact, went very well and the quality was top notch. Very happy with this company.

We will start by saying that David was very fair in his pricing. The complete sidewalk was removed and our stoop sanded down and properly pitched away from our entrance with mortar underlayment. David put bluestone on the top surface of the step and landing, and face stone on the risers and sides of the stoop - beautiful work! Pavers we're used in place of the sidewalk which was completely removed with electrical and irrigation run under the new walkway. David's work was careful, and he was very conscientious in his lovely walkway curved design. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend him. He was on the job some days very early in the morning, and he and his very capable assistant worked very hard. I am recommending him to my daughter.

Dave did an excellent job with our patio and walkways project. He made a huge effort to review our options for the project, even accompanying us to a supplier to allow us to see the stones and patterns. He was on site for all phases of the construction and took time each morning to talk with us about the day's tasks and any design decisions needed. The finished product looks great and has dramatically improved our backyard and curb appeal.

David installed a paver patio in May of 2018, approximately 25’x30’ with stairs up to our slider and two stone walls. He was helpful in helping us pick out pavers that coordinated with the color of our house and were within our price range. Work was done quickly, patio looks awesome, and we’ve received many compliments. David addressed any concerns/questions we had promptly. We’ve asked him to return and install a small sidewalk.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe David Chaput and his team. On time, on budget, no surprises … and they cleaned up the space when it was done. The design and workmanship were superior, even with the small space I have. If I had more projects, I'd hire them for every one. They are worth every penny.

Excellent Job. If you, like us, have been trying to get a new patio done but have no time or travel too much, then Dave and his crew are the right folks for you. From the first meeting, Dave took on the full project management role and exceeded expectations in the ahead of time project completion and quality of work. After contracting them to do the job, we were away for several weeks and thru text and photo status of projects and calls on any questions regarding tbe project - he got it done and done ahead of schedule. Key is to clearly spell out and visualize mark 1. Total patio space and put markers in corners of entire location 2. Agree on pavers from the start 3. Agree on time the project must be completed by 4. Get total cost upfront and payment schedule. If you will be away, make clear arrangements for 3 phase payment. 5. Calls - Make sure you answer Dave's call when he calls you. He will not waste your time but you will waste him if you dont answer his questions asap.

Fantastic. Though the expense was last minute and unexpected, it was beautifully done and certainly added value to my home.

The work went great! Dave and Chris were very personable. They did an excellent job with the site and each day cleaned up the area which was very important to us having 4 dogs. The dug a trench for our electrician to work too. Dave worked with us to get to a price that was comfortable without skimping on quality and looks. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

All went smoothly. David responded to my call immediately and came out to see the work in the same day. I had an estimate within the time frame promised and the job commenced and was completed on time and on budget.

I was looking for someone to remove and re-set all of the pavers on our large patio. I had gotten other more expensive estimates for replacing the pavers. David was willing to remove, stack, and re-set all of the existing pavers. He removed the existing soil base and replaced it with a newer compacted base. Just what we wanted and needed. In addition, I had a three foot wide walkway added that would provide access to the existing patio area. David and crew were on time and cleaned up every day. The work was professionally done and completed in about a weeks time.

Dave and Chris removed an old rock retaining wall and replaced it with a beautiful new stone wall. They also excavated 2 pieces of shrubbery. They were on time and cleaned up at the completion of the project. I would highly recommend this company and we would definitely hire them again.

Dave came out to give me a quote on the stone wall we wanted built. After looking at the layout of our yard and considering what we wanted, he advised us that a wall like we wanted might not work well in that space and made a few other suggestions. We really appreciated his honesty.

They didn't end up power-spraying the cracks. They laid the sand down, and the job was a little messy looking in terms of sand. Plants/grass are still continuing to come up through tiny holes in the pavers which is a reason why I hired them to reseal the cracks, to stop the grass from growing in between the pavers. There a few holes here in there where the sand wasn't filled in all the way. A little disappointed that it wasn't powerwashed out. there is still old gross black foam left in between the cracks from the first time it was done (before I had purchased the house). but they saw that some bricks were coming up all the way and they laid those flat without me asking and they according to them they fixed the pitch of the house.

Dave was very responsive, listened to the particular needs of our project, and gave us a prompt, fair, and comprehensive quote. Once we got the job scheduled, he and his team worked quickly and finished the work faster than we had expected. The new wall that they built used the stones from the old wall, along with some stones from our property, and looks beautiful. It is far sturdier than it ever was before (now including proper drainage) and is the best looking wall on our property.

Great work, very timely, professional, and pleasant to deal with. We contacted Dave after a friend of mine had an extensive amount of work done at his home. We are very happy with the job him and his crew did on our patio. We would definitely recommend him. We used UniLock Treo in Bavarian color with grey polymer sand,

It was a pleasure working with Dave and he always responded to all my questions and concerns. We looked at several designs for the walkway and he was always willing to price out different options and scenarios. When it came time to do the work, he was always there when he said he would be and kept me informed of where he was in the process and expected timeline. The end product is beautiful. We have already received several inquiries as to who did the work. I was impressed with the pouring of the concrete footings for the stairs due to the weight of the granite, as the other companies I looked at were not going to do this. I would certainly use Chaput Stone for future projects.

Dave and his team are excellent. Dave originally said the job would take about 7 days but they were done in less than 5. He was the only quote we received that not only noticed the grading issues at our house (the yard pitches toward the house where we wanted to path to be installed), but had an immediate plan to address it during our first meeting. Dave and his crew were outstanding! They not only started over a month earlier than originally expected but were done with both the walkway, front step and dry well in less than 5 days! Dave was quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls, was patient with all questions from a novice homeowner, and ensured we got more than what we expected. The paver walkway and front step came out beautiful. The walkway blends into the yard without looking ostentatious or out of place, and the flow of the walkway looks very natural. He was the only quote that we got that immediately noticed and addressed the grade of our yard, which pitched towards the house. He had a plan to fix this problem from the first time he came out to quote us on the project. His pricing was right in line with the other 3 quotes we got but we decided to go with him because of the fix for the grading and his overall plan to install the walkway and step. I can not recommend him highly enough and any work I have in the future will be his!
