Very professional and at a fair price.

This is the second time that I have used Sandweiss and I stand by my first review from last year: THIS COMPANY IS AWESOME!!!!! i called for an estimate for tree removal and the arborist came within 2 days. the estimate was very reasonable for the work. the work was done quickly and professionally. the workers and the arborist are highly professional and were a pleasure to work with. the clean up was awesome. you couldn't ever tell that tree work was done. The best part of working with Sandweiss is that they really care about making the area look awesome. For example, I had 2 hemlock trees that the tops broke off during the winter. The work was to remove the 2 broken tops. they did that part of the work fine, but also cleaned up dead branchs on a couple of ratty looking hemlock trees near the broken ones. I didn't ask them to do the work, but the guy did it on his own. It wasn't a lot of work - i don't want to get the guy fired :) but it was extra work for him but made the area look so much cleaner and better!!!!!! it's this type of care for their work and customers that will keep me using Sandweiss and highly recommending them!!!!!

They came on the day indicated (I was at work so I did not witness the work) and did the work discussed with the consultant. The trimming was well done with great final results. The trees were removed and I did not see any evidence of the trees or their removal. Overall I was very pleased with the work.

In all cases, Sandweiss provides a reasonable and thorough estimate. Their work is excellent, and includes a thorough clean-up (in the case of tree trimming or elimination.)

I can't say enough good things about this company. Besides being half the price of my first quote, they also were very conservative in what I needed to have removed. The first company told me I would need to cut down two large trees that I love. Sandweiss let me know they were not a danger to the house and could be kept. When I called to arrange the service they said maybe two to three weeks but they called back in one (and right before Hurricane Sandy which was much appreciated). They arrived at 7 am and started work. There was 5-6 guys on the project. When we said we wanted to keep the wood, they cut it nicely for us and stacked it. They noticed another branch that wasn't part of the original estimate and took it down for no additional cost. The whole project took about 8 hours and when they left my property was cleaner than when they arrived. They raked up leaves and blew the sawdust from the lawn. They swept my deck and blew all the leaves from the roof. I higly recommend!

I LOVE this company! This is the second time they've done work for me, and I highly recommend them for the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their courtesy. I wouldn't call anyone else.

I have lived here for 11 years, and we have been trying to save this tree for 11 years. They are extremely responsive and provide excellent advice. They prove that it works on the trees. They are very courteous, and listen carefully when I talk about how I want the tree to be trimmed. They are very knowledgeable arborists and they study trees. I am particular about my trees. The owner is just fabulous. I would recommend them.

I recommend them. They're very good, prompt and reliable. They're knowledgeable. They look at the trees, diagnose what's wrong, suggest what could be done and then follow up very quickly. They use some chemicals that are environmentally acceptable. The quality of their work is excellent.

They did a great job. They are very respectful and cooperative. I like that they do a great job cleaning up after the job is done.

I have used them before and I recommend them.

Overall excellent experience. The Person who did the estimate was on time and very knowledgeable. The crew that did the work was also right on time The foreman knew exactly what to do and the rest of the crew truly worked as a team. VERY PROFESSIONAL!

We have been using them for several years and are extremely happy with them. I know several people who have used them as well. Their pricing is competitive and fair. The have done an unusual job for us. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The job he did was quite satisfactory. The price was very reasonable and he did a fine job. Everything went well with the service. I did contact him recently to clear some brush for me. He called me back and came out and looked at the job yesterday. He said he was going to write up an estimate and pop it in the mail so I should have it within the next few days.

They were recommended by a neighbor. They come out and do an estimate of what needs to be done and I signed up for that. I spend around $600 on that. I had used them last fall to remove 3 trees and prune around 10 trees. I had spent $2000 on that work. They came out the next day and the lead guy was up there and they did the work right away. I had asked them to come out in June, but they have not come out yet.

Called to arrange quote. No answer. Left message. Called again. Emailed. No response.

Very responsive to inquiry, came promptly for estimate. Owner was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and made logical suggestions, including the cabling. As I am a complete novice when it comes to tree trimming, he could have easily done more than necessary and overcharged me, but I feel he did just what needed to be done for a fair price. I was not present when the work was done. When I cam home, the trees were trimmed, the wood he left for me to burn was cut and neatly piled, and all the debris was gone. The work was done as discussed, and I think the may have even trimmed extra branches away from the wires without charging me more. Overall, I'm very happy and will definitely use them again.

I have used Sandweiss Tree Service for years and have always received outstanding service from them. They are responsive, prompt, and reasonably priced.

Contacted Sandweiss for estimate on required tree services; left a voicemail message. Sandweiss returned my call the same day to schedule an appointment. We agreed on a date that was convenient to me (i.e, two weeks from my call). They suggested an earlier appointment (1 week from my call to them), however, I would have not been available. The estimator arrived at my home, on time. He was very knowledgeable, explaining exactly which branches needed to be cut and why. Within 5 days, I received a written quote, which I was very reasonable. I called back the contractor to schedule a date to have the service done; they did not return my first call - I waited for 1 week, then called again. This time, I spoke to someone (vs. leaving message) who told me they would call me back within the next day or so. Two days after my call, the contractor called to schedule a time and date to perform the service I requested. Again, the day was inconvenient for me (I could not be at home for the entire time), however, because my presence was not required while the work was being done, the date would not be a problem. Again, the contractor (which included the estimator and a crew of 4) showed-up on time, on the agreed date. I was just there to greet them, before I had to leave. When I returned all the work was done, the yard was in perfect condition, with all the branches and tree truck removed, just as we agreed. I am very happy with the work and I will hired Sandweiss again, as the need arises.

Besides the excellent service, the best part was when we called to schedule the work and Ben said, "How about tomorrow!" (It was a bit snowy and taking down big trees was about all they could do until the weather improved.)

It is a small business. They work half days only. They always show up on time and they clean up after themselves. They do a good job. They agree to take the chipped wood away when I ask them to. I like their attitude that is friendly but professional.

The estimate was interesting and informative, with a lot of discussion about what should be done now and what can wait. They're extremely knowledgeable and always offer great advice. The pruning looked natural with no awkward "holes" in the trees or bushes. The work was done efficiently and professionally.

crew of 3 arrived on time and worked steadily for 3 hours. they did a great job, cleaned up everything and were very nice as well. the trees look fantastic. my one problem with sandweiss was that I called them 4 weeks earlier, and they would only tell me that they will come in 2/3 weeks time, and will let me know the night before. luckily that worked with my schedule (and it was 4 weeks, not 2 to 3), but I would have preferred to schedule a specific date and time in advance.

All good experiences. They were less expensive than another service we had been using.
