They were excellent. Ben came out and gave us an estimate and was very helpful and very knowledageable. His crew cleaned everything up and were very polite. It was very professionally done and I was very pleased with the work.

They answered my call the same day despite the fact that a large number of people in town had trees down. They were out within the week and did a thorough job. They left the yard clean. They were courteous and professional

I've used Sandweiss for years and always raved about the quality of their work, but this year (and it has been a year long process) they dropped the ball so many times I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I contacted them in March of this year to have some bushes removed and start some planting. The removal went fine but they said they hadn't received their trees from the nursery yet so we would have to wait a few weeks. That was understandable, but a few weeks passed... then a few more... and so on. I contacted them every month or so and was always assured we were next on their list. Well, one day I finally got someone on the phone (after leaving several messages and emails) who told me it was now summer so we would have to wait until Fall. I was a bit annoyed, since we now had a barren yard but given how long we've been using Sandweiss I let it go. Well, Fall came around and it was the same song and dance, always a few weeks away, until finally it started snowing and I was told I would now have to wait until the following Spring... again. I, very politely, told their scheduler I was not happy with how my job had been handled or the communication that I've received and that I would like the Owner, manager--someone--to call and explain to me how this all happened. Well that was a week ago and I guess they don't care that they've lost a customer. So in summary, don't expect them to value you as a customer even if you've given them thousands of dollars of work over the years, apparently they only care about their larger clients.

Project went extremely well...very professional, courteous, dependable and enjoyable people. Arborists are very knowledgeable and the crew was excellent.

Very professional and considerate service. For example, during removal of the crabapple tree, a wood chip accidentally damaged a nearby window screen. The very next day they sent a person to repair and replace the screen. The new tree looks great and we hope to enjoy it in the years to come.

Without asking permission Sandweiss drove a onto my property too cut off the limb. They ruined my lawn and cracked my sidewalk. They never reimbursed me for the damage. I filed a complaint with the city.

These guys are top notch. I had a tree removed earlier this year by a different tree company and it was not a good experience. So when I had a couple of other trees and stumps to be removed I went with Sandweiss. I was a bit nervous on my way home hoping it wasn't looking like a disaster. I was very happy to see the stumps were filled in nicely and the wood wasn't all over the place. Highly recommend these guys. Very professional

The overall experience was excellent. It is a little tough to get a hold of someone in their office, which is the reason I gave responsiveness a B, but when you do get a hold of someone the company is great. They were on time to the quote and scheduled work. The price was very competitive, and they did a great job.

This was the best experience we have had! We were able to get a quote in a timely manner. We had contacted 4 places that ranged in price from $500 - 2000 for the same job. They were the cheapest by far. They performed the job exactly the way we wanted. They did a great job cleaning up the yard afterwards. We had to instruct them to drive the trucks through our neighbor's yard to avoid our septic. Our neighbor was so impressed by how quickly and professionally they took down the trees that he is now using them for trees he needs to take down on his yard. There was no damage to his yard either!! I will also say, they have the friendliest people that work for this company. The person I spoke with to arrange the estimate and appointment was so nice and so helpful. If you need any tree work, this is the guy you want to call!

They did an excellent ob and I wouldn't use anyone else!

First the sale person arranged with my neighbor to access my yard which is fenced in by using his driveway. They also took extra precautions by putting down wooden planks to avoid damage to my neighbors driveway, The company then proceeded to position their truck to easily access the damaged trees. To prevent property damage and injury from the tree cuttings they secured each branch individually with rope. They were very meticulous in cleaning up after the job was completed. My neighbor who granted access through the use of his driveway also took this opportunity to have several of his trees cut down. We are very pleased with this service.

Excellent evaluation and work hand done on each tree. Work was done professionally, high quality workmanship, complete cleanup all at a very fair price considering the large amount of work to be done. All work was discussed with us upon estimate, and again on the day the work was done. Finally, our approval was sought upon completion giving us the opportunity to request any additional touch ups. Truly good work with a very knowledgable staff.

After a brief communication delay with their office staff all other steps of the project went well. Their estimator was knowledgeable + saved me $$$$ by recommending some short cuts to my to-do-list. The work crew arrived on time, were well-trained/knowledgeable and very professional. The final bill matched their written estimate + with their $50 discount coupon the net price was very fair for the work performed. I will be recommending this company to my next door neighbor.

Everything was done neatly and safely from removal of brush, wood and debris. Where their heavy truck tires compressed our lawn they used a pitch fork to raise the compressed areas back up. They also hand raked our lawn of leaves even though most of these were on the ground before they started the job.

The only problem that I had was that the new trees that were planted had a 1 year guarantee. 1 tree didn't make it and I called Mr. Sandweiss to tell him about it and was told a new tree would be planted in its place. That never happened. my condominium

A sizable and well-equipped crew showed up on time, worked quickly, and caused no damage either to power, cable and telephone lines that passed through the crown or to flower beds in which the tree stood.

They did a beautiful job. They were very nice, time efficient, and cleaned up well.

I think he was very inconsiderate of my time. He should have called to see if earlier was convenient . His estimate arrived while I was away. I decided in spite of all this, because I needed this work done to go ahead. I called his office and spoke to a woman, explained the circumstances and she said he'd call back. That was ten days ago. She asked if I still wanted to get the work done, I said yes. I received no call. Needless to say, I will not use him .

Very well. They worked very efficiently--had enough people and the work did not take long. They removed all the brush, wood and debris.
