One call, few hours, heat was on. perfect.

The men that were sent were very prompt and professional. In fact they applied sticky plastic going up the stairs so that the carpet would not get soiled. I would highly recommend this company,because they gave my husband and I helpful tips about the new equipment.

We have been very pleased with Beacon Mechanical! I first contacted them to switch our Oil Delivery and Service to because I was no longer happy with the company that I had been doing business with for over 10 years. I checked with an acquaintance of mine who had worked as a salesperson for them in the past and he spoke very highly of them. They were very friendly and informative on the phone and answered all my questions. We decided to switch to them and ordered some oil that was promptly delivered. A couple weeks later our oil burner was acting funny so I signed up for their service plan and they sent someone out right away. The technician was prompt, friendly, explained what the issue was, fixed it and it was covered under the plan. It's been working great. Then we decided to ask them to quote for installation of central air. We contacted 3 different companies. One company was unable to come to the house for quote outside of the M-F 9-5 time range so we skipped them. The second company and Beacon Mechanical both came out and provided quotes. Beacon was lower than the other company by $1500 and their quote included a 2-ton unit vs. a 1-ton unit quoted by the other company. Having only 2 quotes to go by I can't be sure their price is and quot;excellentand quot; but it sure was better than the other one so we chose Beacon. Plus, Jason was very speedy with his quote and provided brochures on the equipment they would use. Jason, the salesperson, was wonderful to work with. He had their duct specialist come out to inspect to make sure of duct placement. He assisted in scheduling the electrician we chose, which was very helpful. The crew was wonderful! They were fast (done in 2 days), extremely professional and neat. Dominick, head of the installation, gave me a very detailed rundown of the system, procedures, suggestions and running instructions. I have dealt with a few of the Beacon folks on the phone and all have been delightful to work with. I highly recommend this company for oil and A/C needs!

The installation went incredibly smoothly. We talked out the details and planned each step very carefully as to who would do what when. The only hitch was an emergency call-out for a 911 call center's cooling system, which delayed the install slightly. Because the weather was heating up, I made sure to be in by 6:00am or earlier so the crew wouldn't roast in the attic. Day one was prep time for the whole deal. They laid out plastic floor covering everywhere they would walk so they didn't get either the carpeting or laminate flooring dirty or torn up.They then removed all the old equipment and laid in the main pieces for subsequent install. The hot water heater was tucked into the old furnace room and installed. The entire installation took 5 days, which isn't bad considering they had to run new duct work in a 65+ year old building! They were always clean and careful, the entire crew polite and professional. The building inspector's words were just frosting on the cake when he came out to close the permit. and quot;They did nice work. Good job. They always do.and quot; The system has been running for a little over a month now and is quiet and super efficient. With central air (25 year old) in one room only, appx. 800sf, in June 2012 the electric bill was $170. Cooling the entire 2700sf building for June 2013 was $172. Serious energy savings!

Needed oil delivered to a rental home that I own for the tenant. They were very responsive and courteous.

I don't use them for oil although if I switched I would go with them for the fact that they have good prices for fuel oil. A bigger plus is that they actually have the price on their website. I did use them for a repair when I needed fast service. They called back, showed up on time same day, made the fix, the parts and labor was less than I was preparing for since the fact I was not a current customer. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They were right on time. The problem was found and fixed within the hour. He was very polite and was not bothered by the dog and 3 children.

Beacon Mechanical Service LLC have been reliable with delivering heating oil. They have done some servicing for us, which has been fine. It might have been oil price that lead us to change to them.

Both gentlemen were polite, professional, and prompt. Two days after installation, I thought there was a leak and called back. Perhaps it was a microscopic leak that went away, or may water got spilled some other way. Steve came back quickly, checked things out, reseated connections, and did everything to test the results. There was no charge for this extra visit, and the plumbing is fine.

The only complaint I have with the entire inspection process is that the technician was about 20 minutes late to the home. Normally this wouldn't have been too big a deal, however we were trying to work within the time that the sellers of the home gave us to complete all the inspections and I began to worry that there would not be enough time. However, once there, Mike got right to work and was very personable in the process. He took his readings and then explained the results to me. I was impressed with his knowledge and his ability to relate everything to someone who has not dealt with oil tanks before. Overall the service was great, and Mike even took the time to explain one other question about the furnace that had come up while I was there with the owners. He also explained all the additional services Beacon Mechanical has available, and based on my experience here I definitely plan on using them again in the future as a new homeowner.

It went really well. The crew came on time worked and cleaned up after themselves and gave all the paperwork to apply for an energy rebate. Very profession and I will be using them again when time comes to replace the furnace. I would feel very comfortable referring my family and friends to Beacon for any of the services they offer.

My experiences with them have been excellent. They are timely, and they don't do anything more than what's required. They've given me helpful advice, and their pricing seems to be fair enough. I recently received a quote from them to convert my system from oil to gas, and the price was reasonable. I've haven't proceeded with the project yet, but I'd certainly recommend them to anybody.

The team worked like a whirlwind, bringing in different expertise at different times. They were polite, clean and efficient. There were two minor coodination issues: They did not coordinate with the town and the propane installation as I had thought they promised. But that was easily remedied (by me). Due to the way they tightly scheduled their staff, the team for removing the old water heater had to be scheduled for another date. Annoying, but not difficult by any imagination. We were able to take advantage of that by having them do some extra work at that time (a new dryer vent installed).

We spent about $5000. They were excellent. They came when they said they were going to. They installed it and it is working fine. They also did an excellent job when they installed the air conditioning system. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

A month ago, my furnace stopped working properly. The first time I called, I had just come home to a 43 degree house after work. The technician was able to get the furnace running intermittently, but was not able to troubleshoot the exact problem. The exact same thing happened the next night. The second technician thought it was the control box and replaced it. After about 10 minutes, the furnace shut off and he said it was probably the temperature sensor instead, but he didn't have one in his truck and would order one. After a week, I called to find out the status of the sensor and was told it was on order but wasn't in yet because "packages take longer to deliver before Christmas." Between Christmas and New Years I called 3 times and each time was asked to leave a message. None of my phone calls were returned and I still had a furnace that wasn't working properly. Fed up, I found the manufacturer's replacement parts list on the internet and was able to locate the sensor for $28 at a supplier in East Windsor. I picked up the sensor next day and replaced it myself. It has been a month since Beacon supposedly ordered the sensor and I have yet to hear when they plan to install it. They have, however, promptly mailed me an invoice for $450 for labor and parts that did not fix the problem.
