Description of Work: The quote was excessive for the removal of a small limb that I couldn't reach, I had 2 trees removed for less money by another company.

Description of Work: They came and removed some trees for us & trimmed up a big flowering bush that was way overgrown. They were right on time, worked very quick but safe and professional. I was amazed at how fast they took down some huge trees. They certainly knew what they were doing. They cleaned up everything and even raked up the tracks from the truck so you couldn't tell they were even here. We will not hesitate use them again when the need arises. We hope to use some of their landscapers in the near future as well.

Description of Work: Removal of a VERY LARGE Norway Spruce tree that was blown down in Hurricane Sandy. The tree was approximatey 90 feet tall when standing. Sprigs & Twigs removed all tree litter and every part of the tree, including a huge root ball approximately 14 feet in diameter. They brought in and spread 4 yards of topsoil fill to level off the hole left from the rootball. The entire job was completed in one day. Sprigs & Twigs was the lowest bid of four bids to do this job. Excellent service.

Description of Work: Only maintenance and cleanup were performed the last couple times I used S&T. Prior to that they did design and implementation. They charged $20,000 to $30,000 per side of property for this service. Maintenance and cleanup was less expensive but equally as out of line. They came with a terrific sales pitch, beautiful presentation and equipment that any man would admire. The plantings were small and whtever was on sale to them. They declined to use mulch, additional soil, or barriers (rocks) that would minimize erosian of hillside. They would have needed to charge MORE for these things. The hillside to which I refer was compromised by their injudicious cutting of previous plantings and suffered severe erosian as a result. They do no favors that would impact their bottom line. In summary: their work is mediocre and their prices are outrageous.
