 + 0 moreI chose John as he was recommended for his knowledge and skill when it comes to restoring floors. He removed tack board, and sanded through old tile adhesive to reveal a beautiful oak floor laid in the 1940's. He refinished the floors and left them looking brand new. He also contrived to raise a stairway chair elevator system in such a way that he could remove carpet and tile, and refinish the stair way beautifully. He was also meticulous in filling old tack holes and drill holes, and making custom thresholds which he carefully milled to fit between wood floors and tiled areas. He also laid flooring in a closet that perfectly matched the room. I felt that his pricing was reasonable given the amount of time he dedicated to the job. He cleaned up thoroughly and agreed to haul off excess carpet and trash. Overall an A+ job.
Description of Work: John removed carpeting and tile covering the floors of 1700 square foot 1940's house. He sanded, and refinished the floors returning them to new condition.
