Description of Work: House Painted - Excellent Service at a very reasonable price. The entire job - start to finish took just three days. First day power wash, second say scraping/sanding/priming, third day painting entire house including the shutters (the crew worked 12 hours to get the job done on the 3rd day). I've had the house painted 4 time since we moved in 25 years ago and this job is by far the best. We would definitely use Steve Zeisler again.

Description of Work: Complete exterior repainting of 1928 shingle-sided house. The quality is very good. It should be noted, though, that the above cost-of-service does not include associated carpentry, which came to $5,416 and required complicated scheduling.

NEVER hire this guy.
Description of Work: We requested him to come and give us a quote. He said "we need to get this done ASAP as time is of the essence as it fall and due to climate". he said he could do it and we waited one week for his quote which he NEVER provided. I had to email him twice to ask when would the quote be coming and no response FINALLY he said "I am booked".

This woman called very late in the season. She tells me she only wants a partial job. She's all over the map. "Do this side of the dormer, do this part of this wall. I don't know, you're the painter. You tell me what I should do. I don't want to spend a lot of $$." Not to mention the fact that I gave her an estimate for a large job in 06 which I remember being a painful experience. I did not get that job. By the time I was done with this walk around, I felt it would be best to let someone else jump on this grenade. Perhaps in this case you shouldn't call me again, or tell all your friends not to, but post an online complaint potentially costing me tens of thousands of dollars for a job that I didn't even do? Really?? I have three children, two in college. This is my livelihood! I've been painting for 30 years. Customer satisfaction is most important to me. My reputation precedes me.

Description of Work: They painted our porch and some rooms in our house. They had to return to touch up the paint in the hallway because oils my dog's tail had transferred onto it. I felt that they should have known something like this could have happened in a high-traffic area like a hallway. Furthermore, the paint used on the porch is already peeling, and we felt that the price was higher than usual.

I'm sorry I didn't let you know that your large dog's tail rubbing on the paint could mess it up. I figured this was implied in life. As far as the porch goes, floors, decks,fences and rails are the only areas that fall outside my garantee because I guarantee they will fail no matter who paints them.
