I like them very much. They're punctual and their guys are very professional. They do what's needed and don't sell you anything extra. We've used them for 12 years now.

Short review: Fair prices (for fuel, I suppose), responsive to customer requests and corrections, excellent professionalism. More details: When I couldn't get through initially on the phone call to make contact, I emailed the generic 'contact us' button. Skeptical, due to past results of using the 'contact us' feature on websites, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back within a day. I was mailed a brochure, and was encouraged to call around for comparisons. I set up an appointment with a salesman, and he arrived punctually and was very professional in appearance and conduct. I had requested that fuel delivery occur as soon as convenient, which ended up being within a week of the sales visit - and received a phone call from the delivery folks when they realized that they'd booked me on a day that was already too busy... asking if it would be alright to delay delivery by one day. The only complaint with the delivery folks was that they did not leave a copy of the ticket so I could confirm the billings against the metered delivery. The account setup process in the office lagged behind the actual services provided, which resulted in being sent an invoice, rather than having the credit card billed. When I called them to ask about the delivery ticket and the credit card payment, I was assured that a copy of the ticket would be mailed immediately (I had it within 2 days after the call), and the credit card info had not yet made it into my file, which was then immediately corrected, the card charged, and a receipt mailed to me for that as well. I am scheduled to have a technician out to service the furnace this week (easily scheduled to meet my request for a time/date).

The experience was good and I give them all A's. I will use them again in the future.

Everything was fantastic with them. They were very professional and very prompt. Everything was great. Their quality of work was good. The person who came out to do the work cleaned up after himself. The spigot is working perfectly. The price was a little bit more.

Homestead recently gave me an estimate of $1,200 to replace the shower rough-in valve and fixture.. I called Homestead because I use them for oil delivery and boiler maintenance and have been satisfied with their service. Since I feel like their estimate was way out of line I did not have Homestead do this work. I have just finished having this work done by another plumber. The repair took two hours and cost $475, including $200 for parts. The plumber was selected from Angie's list and I was very satisfied with the quality of his work and his professionalism. Excluding parts (which were the same), the Homestead installation estimate was more than 3 1/2 times what the repair actual ended up costing me. I am willing to pay a reasonable and fair amount to have good work done, but I think the amount that Homestead was going to charge me is outrageous. Before having this work done by someone else,I talked with a Homestead manager who vigorously defended their estimate as being reasonable and fair. He said it was based on national average cost for doing the repair and that they needed to charge the amount he did to "make money."

Homestead Oil installed a new oil boiler, hot water heater and outside temp sensor to replace my outdated heating system. They were detailed and punctual in arriving at my house, discussing the needs and what options they offered, and sending me the estimate. The installation was performed in one day, they were professional, polite, the materials, joints and fittings are attractive and clean, and the work site was cleaned up when finished. I called them months afterwards with a minor issue, a service person arrived within 2 hours, and he fixed the problem in a short time. I have confidence in them and am glad that I contracted with them. I would definitely do business with them again, and I would recommend them to my friends.

They were very good and came out right away if we had any problems. They were very efficient and I would highly recommend them. They are very nice people.

I called the service on Sunday June 24 and scheduled a service for Monday at 8:00 AM. The truck was infront of my house promptly at 8:00. There was a lot of thunder and heavy rain, nevertheless, the guy (His name is Justin) worked diligently, diagnosed the problem and took care of it. I will highly recommend this company and especially the technician to everyone.

I just called their emergency number and I used the wrong terminology and the person with whom I was speaking just wanted to berate me for using the wrong terms. Extemely unprofessional.

The technicians arrived a little early. They were professional and courteous. They diagnosed the problem very quickly (heating coil screws loose) and made the repair (tighten them). Given that the repair took less than 2 minutes, I was hoping to pay just the service/diagnostic charge ($69) but they also tacked on the standard labor rate ($77). Given the amount of work involved, I felt it was expensive - but consistent with what they quoted when I scheduled the visit (service charge + labor + parts).

They are a good company and I think they are fine. My husband usually deals with them so I would have no idea how much they charge, but it is a fair price as far as I know. They come out when we call them, you can always call them and get a live person, and they do what they say they are going to do. They are very flexible with how they charge.

Patrick at Homestead did some plumbing work for us. He was punctual, did great work, and was super clean. The office staff was great as well. I'd recommend Homestead & Patrick to anyone who asked.

Guys came early in morning, worked for about 4 hours, left instructions on what to expect, gave me bill and left.

Our well was no longer able to maintain pressure. My brother used Shaw's and was pleased with their service. We decided to give them a try. We called their number and left a message with details on Wed. They called within a couple of hours and set up an appointment for the next day (Thurs) to take a look at what we needed. They had the tools necessary to locate the well, and understood the problem immediately. They provided an estimate and set up a work order to begin work. By Fri, they were on site and replaced the foot valve within hours. We were very pleased with their professionalism, promptness, and knowledge. We would definitely use them again if there was a need.

I called and left a message which was returned within hours by both the office and the road technician. I explained what we wanted and they came that same afternoon, a Friday, to examine our system. George called me on Monday with the estimate, which was nearly exactly what we had estimated. Mike came the next day and did the installation. I do wish he would have warned us about the back pressure from the installation stirring up the well and that (although he did tell me that he treated it with chlorine) it would not be potable for a few days. But at the time, he did not discover that our poorly designed well system allows ground water to contaminate the well until after the installation.

We have used Shaw's before and they are wonderful. They are very professional and responsive. We did not even shop around because we knew the kind of work Shaw's would do. We are planning on hiring them again soon.

They were very prompt, and they came out that very same day. They did very good work. He also mentioned about a connector, which they took care of. We will never have to dig again.
