Description of Work: Repaired toilet, replaced outside spigot, and replaced house water filter. |This is the 3rd time Tomaszek plumbing has provided their services. They are super responsive, very prompt, courteous and helpful. They are the only plumbing services I will use. |

Description of Work: I had used Tomaszek several times before with decent results, but after these two experiences... well... you decide. Once, earlier than the date listed above, I called them to unplug a tub drain in the apartment in my 2-family home. They did it -- one guy showed up, spent less than an half hour, unclogged the drain, and it cost OVER $500. Shocked, but I paid it. The drain WAS unclogged, at least. Then in 6/11 I had a leak around my toilet. The young man showed up, spent about 10 minutes, said it was fixed, charged $100. It was not fixed and I called them within 2 days to describe it. They looked at it again -- nothing said about the pointless $100 bucks already spent -- and they said it was a bigger deal and recommended a contractor who turned out to be unsatisfactory because he never followed up. So, maybe my learning curve was a little slow. Anyway I found another contractor who did that job to my satisfaction, but looking back over the incidents I describe here, I could have been treated much better by Tomaszek and don't think I'll call them again.

+ -1 moreMy overall experience with them was very good. They came when they said they would. They fixed the problem and they were friendly. They did everything that they were supposed to. Their price was fair and their quality of work was good. They were very professional.

+ -1 moreBefore the job, I asked Ed from Tomazcek what the worst possible cost scenario would be. He quoted me a number, so I knew what to be braced for. We scheduled the work -- they took care of it all, permits, excavation contracting, etc. The work was EXTREMELY neatly done with a minimum of disruption to my landscaping, AND the final price was about half the "worst possible scenario" quote. I'll definitely use them again. Great work.
Description of Work: I had a leak between the city water main and my home. It required excavation, etc. and it was in a landscaped area of my yard.

+ 0 moreFilter system broke on a Saturday morning. Tomaszek plumbing answered their phone with a live person and had one of their plumbers call me within 10 minutes. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and needed to locate a replacement device. He called back within an hour after finding a replacement and was at my home in 10 minutes. Replaced the filter device 1-2-3 in about 45 minutes, good as new.
Description of Work: Replaced broken/leaking house water filtration system.
