Angies list was not suppose to sell in Fairfield county. This service was for new haven county. The customer would not accept that we don't service this area and was advised to get his money back from angies list. We will not drive four hours to do a job on a out of zone special . Tried to explain this to customer but he refused to understand and would not take a no for an answer. This is angles list fault for selling this out of our district.

Worthless. A waste of money.
Description of Work: Needed a part replaced in my wash machine. I ordered the part (Maytag) online. The technician said it would take him the entire 2 hours to replace it (I returned prior to the 2 hours being completed, he was not there). The part I ordered was not correct, but the technician put it in anyway--which meant the wash machine did not work properly. Had he simply compared the part being replaced with the new part, he would have seen it was my error, and simply went on to the other plumbing job I asked him to do with the "two hours." As it was, not only did I not get two hours (apparently), but I had to contact a certified Maytag repair person. I understand I ordered the wrong part, but professionals should simply say, "It's the wrong part," not install it. I would not hire this company again.

This customer contacted us: state this was what he wanted done and gave us the part for the washing machine and wanted it installed. At this time the customer was notified that he should have may tag install the part because once we touch the unit it does not fall on the warrantee. The customer was adamant for us to install this unit. We installed it. This did take almost two hours with dismantling the unit putting the pump and harness back together and closing up the cabinet. In now way was I suppose to know this was the wrong part because the customer ordered it and wanted it installed and never contacted me after the installation to say there was anything wrong ..
