Wow! 10 Gold stars! I had flies gathering to the tops of my windows. Mike came by as soon as i called and accommodated my schedule by coming over after work at 6:00 pm. He was on time and it was hot and the air conditioning wasn't working. Almost as soon as he arrived, I had to take a call. Mike was not the least bit disturbed nor did he complain about the heat. He was patient, kind, thorough and looked through the entire house. He told me what type of fly it was (green bottle fly) and what could be done about it (nothing). He said something must of died, probably in my chimney (yuk!) and eventually the flies would go away (they did.) He said he will not charge a customer for a problem that couldn't be fixed. He was patient, kind, and took his time explaining the situation despite coming over after his normal working hours, waiting for me to get off the phone, and enduring a hot, stuffy house. Great guy and now he's on in my Rolodex. I would never call another exterminator.

The guys are all very knowledgeable and the service is great. No exterminator can guarantee that they can make everything go away, but these guys are committed to finding the entry points and mitigating issues at the source. All very friendly and always make time to get us on the schedule quickly when we call. Highly recommended!

Very well -- the carpenter ants were discovered during a property inspection when a home was being prepared to be sold. Michael returned my call very promptly, set up an inspection, inspected the whole house, scheduled the treatment day, came back and did the work. Explained what he was going to do very completely and clearly. I considered him to be very professional and would highly recommend for any of his services.

Michael arrived on time and went over the procedure he would follow to eliminate the carpenter bees. I had issues with other pests (ants) and I was assured these would also be addressed. He and a co-worker sprayed outside and inside. The following days we saw a reduced amount of bees outside our house and even a few dead ones in the flower beds. Michael has returned for the August spraying per the schedule and I had found other insects inside my home and he explained that these also would be controlled after the spraying. Well it has been a week since he was here and I haven't seen any signs of insects inside or outside my home. I am really happy with the services provided my Michael.

I called Michael's Carpenter Ant & Termite Services after reviewing pest control companies on Angie's List. I received a prompt phone call back asking how he could help me. I explained the situation and made an appointment for him to inspect our step. He came out on time and was very friendly. He explained what he thought was going on with the step and inspected the area thoroughly inside and out. He inspected the foundation line of the house inside and out as well as our garage and cupola (noticed bee's nest). He explained that our location next to the woods made our home more susceptible to Carpenter Ants. We thought our self treating was controlling the problem as we would stop seeing ants. Michael explained that even though we were not seeing them anymore, they were still there either because of weather conditions or stages of life. We decided to go with a year treatment plan. He came out the next day and sprayed. Now, a week later, I am finding dead ants around the foundation and inside my home and ALL OVER the front step that flagged the concern. Many, many more ants than I have seen around the house lately....so he was 100% correct! They are there even though we thought we had controlled them!! I am so happy that I called and we went ahead with the treatment plan. Hopefully those sneaky, pesky Carpenter Ants will finally be under control and not do further damage to our home!

I called yesterday to schedule an appointment today. They came on time and spent quite a bit of time investigating where the ant nest/nests might be inside the house and in the basement. He treated in the few locations he found and sprayed the perimeter of the house. He will come back again on Friday as it was raining here today and he wanted to spray a little more. I signed a year contract for a year at a good price. They will come again in Sept, December and May. I was very happy with the service and would recommend them.

It was excellent. We called on a Monday and he was here on a Wednesday. He gave us a discount for being Angie list members.

We have had a yearly contract with them for the last 2 years. Michael came out the first time and did a thorough analysis of the rodent problem we were having and a realistic solution for treating it. The tech comes once a quarter to check for mice and treat for rodents and insects and will come out promptly if we encounter any problems. They are always punctual, reliable, and professional. I recommend them highly.

The worker discovered three bee insect hives outside on my roof. He took care of this problem. He also sprayed outside and inside the house where needed. This company also has a license to take care of wildlife animals. In the past, I had squirrels in my attic. The worker took care of this problem. I have used this company since year 2009. The workers are always professional and explain what they are going to do. The workers are on time with the scheduled appointments and very knowledgeable. If you need their services for residential or business purposes, I highly recommend them. The company provides outstanding service.

Mike did a great job and he was very thorough in making sure the problem was fixed. He even sealed up places where the mice would come in. Very reasonable price for the work he did

I have been using them since last year. They are professional and clean. They come twice yearly. They come to do indoor and then outdoor service. The gentleman who showed up for indoor service was very nice and clean. They indoor service also include garage and basement too. They told me they will come back in fall. The spray outside were all pet friendly and plant friendly. They were wonderful. They told us what was the problem. My husband is 100% satisfied with working with these guys. Price is very reasonable.

Michael (of Michael's Carpenter Ant & Termite Service) is exceptional. He responded promptly to my call, was flexible in scheduling, and arrived when promised. He is professional and kind, and simply seems to enjoy his work - and it shows in his demeanor and interactions with customers. We assessed our problem areas, took the time to answer all of my questions, and got to work. Problem solved. Just hire him - he really is knowledgeable and great to work with.

Answered my call on Friday 5/1/15 and scheduled me for Monday 5/4/15 at 4-5PM. He didn't call to reschedule or say he would be late and then he didn't even show up. I left work early for this type of service.

We had mice and they came out and sealed the house up and got rid of them for us. They were very professional.

Very well. Very professional and installed the traps without problems and was very punctual with follow up visits. Also did not try to sell services we did not require. The price was a bit more than expected - but you get what you pay for and we got excellent service. Very happy with the results and definitely would use their services again.

This is periodic maintenance they do a thorough job and are very professional.

They did preventative treatment for ants for us, as we get them every year. They went around and sprayed the problem areas, and we did not have any issues with ants afterwards. We are guaranteed that they will come out and do the service again if we have any ants that come during the season.

They are very good. We bought an annual contract. They were able to solve the problem. They are very professional. They answered all my questions. They call ahead to make sure it's ok to come.

There is a brook and heavy vegetation in my backyard. I was seeing big black ants and other bugs everywhere. Michael came out the same day I called. He checked everything out and explained, in detail, what the problem was, how it would be solved, what their contract covers and what I should expect. There's a 10% discount if you pre-pay which I take advantage of (I have been with them for 2 years now.). About a week before service, I get a call from Brian to schedule the service. He's very pleasant and accommodating. The technician, usually Wayne, comes out at the scheduled time to do the service. He's always on time, has a very nice manner and is also very professional. The times that I've called, unrelated to the ant problem, they have been extremely helpful. It's apparent that customer service is very important to this company. I highly recommend them.

Michael first went into my attic to ascertain if the bees had gained entry into the attic. Luckily, the yellow jackets showed no attic signs of entry. Michael then proceeded to dust and spray an exterior soffit area of my home in which yellow jackets had entered and built a nest. The nest was not visible, but one could see yellow jackets entering and leaving the area that was just below the roof line. The treatment eliminated the yellow jackets and Michael returned 5 days later to seal the opening that had allowed the yellow jackets to gain entry into the soffit. Michael was thorough, professional and courteous. I highly recommend Michael's company and would not hesitate to utilize his services again should another need arise in the future.
