Description of Work: New town sidewalk due to widening of driveway. Horrible they did it completely wrong against all codes never pulled permit were ordered by town to do it over again and then let me hang for three months trying to blame everything on me arguing swearing making me go through a lot of grief until I finally never paid them

Unfortunately, [Member Name Removed] was one of those clients who was just impossible to please. In order to expand his driveway the town was requiring him to replace 3 concrete town sidewalk slabs in order to meet town codes. The homeowner had a hard time finding a contractor to do such a small job and our quote of $1300 was close to half the price of other quotes he had received from contractors who were willing to do the work. After removing the 3 slabs the homeowner became irate saying the contract called for removing 4 slabs, which it did not. After him arguing with us and swearing at us out in his front lawn, we took the high road and replaced the 4th slab at no charge. We worked closely with the paving company who was doing the drive way so we could sync schedules so they knew when the work was being completed and when they could get in. There was a bit of a miscommunication on the permits, we thought we were working under the permit of the paving company but the town wanted us to have our own permit. We pulled permits, re-poured the slabs at no charge to the customer. The town inspector, inspected our work all throughout the process and completely signed off on our work and approved of everything. The homeowner throughout the process was just impossible to please no matter what we did to try and work with him. He continually was looking for a way out of paying for the work we completed.
