Description of Work: He replaced the belt and the idler pulley in my dryer in a matter of minutes. Came to my house same day despite bad weather. Could have done it cheaper on my own, but didn't know where to get pulley. He even offered phone assistance if I wanted to attempt other repairs in the future.

+ 0 moreWent very well. He was slightly late due to an prior customer's lack of conscientiousness. He went to work very quickly, taking off the dryer panel and showing me what was going on. He later showed that the belt was aging and should be replaced. I consented. The dryer runs like a dream.
Description of Work: Had my dryer internally cleaned of lint residue. Also had belt replaced due to cracks discovered by mechanic.

+ -1 moreI had just had a flood in my basement and the insurance adjuster recommended that I contact an appliance repair service to be sure the washer and dryer were still operational. I called Ray's Appliance at 5:00 on a Saturday evening. After explaining my situation, Scott, Ray's son, was professional, knowledgeable, and more than willing to offer over the phone advice. I was not sure if my needs required a visit so he took the time to explain what I should do and not do to test my appliances. I asked what was the latest I could call in case I needed service and he told me anytime since that was his home number. Though no service call was necessary, I was very pleased with the customer service and professional advice from the company.
Description of Work: When I called regarding the safety of my washer and dryer due to water damage, Scott, Ray's son was very knowledgeable and helpful in providing over the phone advice.

The following day Ray called an hour earlier than our appointment to see if he could come then, and came right over. He was very pleasant and courteous, came in and diagnosed the problem, replaced the pump from a supply in his truck, tested for leakage and returned the washer to its location ready for use. Very efficient and professional. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Replacing the leaking pump on a four year old Whirlpool top loading washing machine.
