Scott called me within a couple of hours of my leaving my initial message. He explained what he understood and what he recommended. He arrived on time, as scheduled, fixed the issue and offered some advice. He was very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him, and we would absolutely call him again.

Phoned at 8:30 pm and was told we would get a call the next day. Received an early morning call, and made an appointment for the following day, as they were tied up with a previous job. Arrived as scheduled, and quickly put the machine in working order, attaching the hose that came loose and tightened the hardware involved. Checked the machine to ensure it should run for a long time.

Scott (Ray's son) came the same day I called. I was expecting the worst -- needing a new ice maker. But Scott said the problem was a bad electrical connection due to the wrong ice maker being installed the last time it failed, and also the on/off switch being stuck in the off position due to a build-up of ice. He re-routed the wires so that it wouldn't be impacted by the positioning of the ice maker. Scott could easily have told me I needed a new ice maker, but he's too honest to do something like that. I had hired him several years ago to fix my washing machine. At that time he needed to make several visits to my house but only charged me for one visit, and he even gave me some parts he had back in his shop at no cost. This guy is super honest, charges very fairly, and is totally competent.

Could not be happier with the service provided especially after the aggravation dealing with the retailer we purchased the dryer from. The dryer is now up and running as good as new. Very well. We were under no obligation for the representative to come to our house to assess the job. He gave us a price for repair, along with recommendations for a few faucets. We chose one. After getting the faucet, he did the work. No issues or surprises. The work was done several months ago and all is well. Would definitely call him again for any other needed work.

Came on a Saturday. Diagnosed the problem & needed a part. He left and came back as promised. No extra charge for a weekend visit. Now my washer is as good as new!

Scott came out the same day I called and correctly assessed the problem with my oven at a reasonable price. He found the right part, gave me a quote, had it shipped quickly, and fixed it the first time right. I can't recommend this guy enough.

Fixed them both and did not overcharge. It did take some time to get one of the parts but overall a good job

It took a few visits to troubleshoot, then fix the problem. They did give me a couple suggestions over the phone which would have saved me a service call if they had worked. No such luck though.

Perfectly. Scott was here for about 20 minutes, cleared the drain filter, verified that everything worked correctly and charged what I consider a very reasonable amount for that which I couldn't do myself. I highly recommend this company!

It was excellent. He picks up the phone always. I called him the night before and he was there the following morning to perform the services. He didn't have a knob for the ac and came back 2hrs later to get it replaced, free of charge.

Look-see charge was high for ten minutes of looking, but since the dryer was repairable and the estimate reasonable I shrugged it off. Then it took three separate trips before they realized the motor ordered was not the correct one. Fourth trip he brought a different motor and the dryer was repaired, and is more noisy than before but works. Price was higher than estimate, although I didn't think I should pay for the extra trips. Scott seemed overscheduled and always running late or had to leave because he didn't want to be late to the next appointment, or both.

They had to order the part for the older washer, it turned out to take almost a week, but it wasn't their fault. The washer doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles on it and I wanted it to be done a certain way. These guys went above and beyond, it costs some money, but I'm thinking I have another 10 years of life out of this machine. I like them. They are responsive and they are good guys.

Called Ray's Appliance on Monday morning and they gave me a 2 hour appointment window for the next day. Repairman showed up on time, took 5 minutes to take the machine apart and knew exactly what the problem was. He replaced the front slides. When done, tested and heard a slight noise. Said it was most likely the drum needing to adjust itself because the new slides were thicker than the original. Said to monitor it and if it continued to call them back and they wouldn't charge full service call. He didn't want to replace parts that weren't needed. When running a load, the noise was no longer there. Will definitely call again for appliance repairs.

When two of my large appliances stopped functioning during the same week, Ray's spent a half hour with me on the phone. Instead of suggesting an expensive diagnostic visit, the gentleman I spoke with talked me through the ways I could troubleshoot myself, and saved me both time and money. This level of honesty and care has been unmatched in my experiences with home repair services, and I was so thankful for the advice! He truly put the customer first at no benefit to himself, and has most definitely earned my business in the future.

Great! I called up and they came out the next day. Scott took one look at the machine and instantly diagnosed the problem, had the part in the truck and replaced the faulty part. Took no more than 15minutes. I will definately use them again. He even told me it was one of the best machines and to keep it as long as I could!
