Description of Work: Repaired a leak in my automatic ice maker line under the refrigerator.

Description of Work: Service was scheduled promptly and on my preferred date/time. They fully reviewed the contents of my message (text and pictures sent through Angie's List. They were fully prepared to make the necessary repairs. They were done in less than 30 mins!

Description of Work: Misdiagnosed the problem charged for the initial visit and when unable to fix the problem did not charge me for the second visit. Am unsure if I would use him again. Am unsure how to respond to question regarding services provided, since he was unable to fix the problem. I ended up buying a new machine.

I had to call to make sure they were coming because they were a bit late but they did apologize and give me a timeframe. | |I just had a sock stuck in the washer but it was a bit further up than i was looking. A very quick simple fix but i feel that $100 is too much for that. He said he was just going to charge me for a service call and i guess that's how much they cost. | |I am sure for big jobs he will offer a decent price and be as honest as he was when i met him, I am just not happy with a $100 bill for a 5 minute job I could understand $60-75.

Description of Work: Ray's did a good job on my dishwasher last year, so I called them when my refrigerator stopped working intermittently. Ray asked me some diagnostic questions and told me he would find it hard to determine the cause of the problem if the refrigerator was working when he arrived. He told me that dust could have been clogging the fan and recommended I clean out the air intake (which I could see did need some cleaning) and call him back only when the refrigerator stopped again. More than a week later, the refrigerator is still working fine. Ray's desire to help me avoid having to pay for an unnecessary or inconclusive service call is just what I want to see from a repair service. When I do need a repair visit--the thermostat could fail tomorrow, or in a couple of years--I will call Ray again.
