Description of Work: Standard Security installed a wireless home security system with smoke detector. The salesman was prompt and very information. While their prices on equipment are on the average I feel their monitoring fees are on the high side. But, we have had their services in the past and never had a single problem. I felt that it was worth a couple extra dollars each month for reliable service. The installer was also prompt and profession.

+ -1 moreI highly recommend Standard Security Systems Company. The technician did a good job. The installation was done excellently well. He was very polite and service oriented. Their price was competitive. Most of the cost was covered by our insurance. I would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: The salesman came right away and explained the system and the cost (28.69 a month). The technician came at the appointed time, replaced the alarm box and key pads (at no cost) and connected the system. Later I got a follow up call asking if all went well. Though I have not had the alarm go off, I believe it will work if needed.

+ -1 morePersonally, I feel all alarm companies are one in the same. They do not take a proactive, aggressive approach to entice new customers. Overall, their customer service is average as they do not run tests to assure my system is running properly. I will continue to use their service as I do not believe any other service provider can do me any better. If I were to move I would not use this company again. Fortunately, I have not been alarmed for a fire or intruder.
Description of Work: I use Standard Security Systems as the monitoring system for my 2800 square home. I have a yearly agreement with them in which I pay on a monthly basis. It monitors for fire or unwanted entry.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY GOOD AT THEIR INSTALLATION. THEY WERE QUICK AND DIDN'T TAKE A LOT OF TIME. THEY WERE IN AND OUT. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME ABOUT THE SERVICE. THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH ON THEIR EXPLANATIONS. THEY SHOWED ME EXACTLY HOW TO WORK IT BECAUSE I AM NOT GOOD WITH MANUALS.
