I am going out of my way to write this review because Michael deserves it! I rarely write reviews, but rely on them so much so now I'm giving back. Our house has 2 AC units - one to support the top floor and one the bottom. When we moved in over a year ago the AC units that were installed were the originals from the build almost 20 years ago. Its a miracle they were still working. We got in 3 folks to give us a quote, two of which are highly recommended by moms on the Fairfield Facebook channel. All vendors told me what I needed and its was the same across the board, however, Michael's quote was 1/2 the quote of the other vendors for the SAME unit brand/model and install. The other vendors sent in Sales guys to talk to us. Its clear to me that the extra cost from those other vendors is to cover the overhead operating costs of the the sales team, operations and fancy trucks. Michael isn't one of those companies. He is lean - he does most of the work himself, but has a few folks that help him. He does done BIG jobs - as in repeat work for companies upwards of 30k and is happy to do the house installations as well. He is reliable and arrived when he said he would and spent half a day doing the install. Its been 2 months and the AC is working fabulously. I read all of Michaels reviews before deciding to go with him. To be honest I had hesitations since he is new to the site and some of his reviews weren't great. But upon more careful inspection of the less than stellar reviews it was clear that most of them were for the quick/cheap check-ups and a delay in hearing back from Michael. For those folks interested in working with him on the tune-ups my suggestion is be patient! The bigger jobs are his livelyhood and must come first, but he will get back to you and he will do a great job. And keep in mind, if you end up going with the double-the-cost option, you arent paying for better work. You are paying for overhead costs that you wont get with Michael. I highly recommend him and will be using him again once our other 20 year old unit fails. :)

Michael and his efficient crew were courteous and did a wonderful job installing our new A/C unit. Michael took the time to explain the benefits of a new system and his price was much lower than other companies. Michael promptly returned all texts and phone calls and his crew didn't leave a trace behind them. I especially appreciated it when Michael contacted me after the job to see if everything was working smoothly. I feel very confident that if I have any problems in the future, Air & Water solutions will be quick to assist me. Highly recommended.

I found big issues with my AC unit after they come and serviced it. I would prefer that they were found out during the service the day itself.

Making contact with the company was difficult. Two weeks went by with promises to return the call, to set up an appointment, but nothing happened. I was going to cancel when they showed up unannounced while I was at work. Luckily my brother happened to be visiting and he made contact, watched them check the unit (all he could really tell was that they were looking at something) and then my brother tried to pay them. The "A" for professionalism comes from them refusing payment which my brother offered because it had already been charged to my CC.

They said we were to far away and would let us know when they were coming to my area and never have This is there note to me: "Good morning Mr Thomas. I'm trying to see when I can schedule u for this tune up. It's kind of difficult. I have to schedule two guys 45 min there and back plus the time of the service. Thats over 2 hours service on our busiest time. I understand you been waiting if you like you can request a refund but I can do it until I get a slow day. My apologies, Thanks " So would you give them your money...... Do not use them I want my money back

7/5/15 1st time and probably last purchase of service on Angie's List. Purchased Air Conditioning Tune-UP for $69.00, on line with the recomended vendor - Air & Water Solution an Air It Is Co. Requested the Air & Water Solution company, in Bridgeport, CT. contact me to set up an appointment on or about 7/7/15. Never heard back from Air & Water and left several messages for a return call to set up apointment. 8/7/15 Contacted Angie's List about problem with vendor; they were going to look into it. Left another message same day with owner Michael Laurore to call me about apointment. No call back from company. 9/3/15 Our central air system stopped working. I had hoped that a tune up and inspection would have elminated this from happening. Called Angie's List to ask for my money back. Based on my experience I would never recommend this company.

They did not come across as trustworthy to me. They said I might need air conditioner fluid but that they would give it to me for free. And then, they said that it costs $70 or something. I said, "Never mind. Don't do it." I did not get a good feeling with them because then they said, "Well, you don't really need it." So, I would not use them again. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount because I refused it. I think the price was fair. I don't know what they did. They checked the tubes or pipes or whatever.

They were very responsive and explained things to us. I was very impressed with them.

To his credit, rather than just automatically saying the unit needed a new compressor as most HVAC guys would say, he made every effort to troubleshoot and left no stone left unturned until he figured out what was wrong.....and it wasn't the compressor. He also quickly replaced a thermostat for me all while explaining everything he was doing. Solid job.

Turned up 15 - 30 minutes late. Looked thoroughly unprofessional. Did seem to know what he was talking about but then I do not know air conditioning units. Removed four screws looked at two objects in the unit and then told me it had to be replaced. In all it took 5 minutes. As the 'service' was not done i asked him to look at the second unit. He said that would be an extra cost. $70 for 5 minutes work! Maybe I was not ripped off but it surely felt like I had been. Up-date 7 days later. Had another repairman around. He identified the issue as the electric motor for the fan. I took the fan off, bumped the blades and reattached. The fan works fine. The unit is now cooling the house. Moral of the tale - when you need a job doing do it yourself I guess. It will surely save you the $3,000 price tag Mike presented me with.

Mike checked everything out on my old unit. He informed me that it is still running efficiently and was in good shape. He let me know that my model was being discontinued in the next year. Replacing with a newer model would mean that it would not be compatible with my furnace. He gave me some good information about replacement with my current model before it was discontinued and provided me with an estimate to think about moving forward.

The owners arrived on time and were very efficient and polite. They seemed to know their trade and were able to explain to me how to keep my unit at its peek performance.

The workers were friendly and punctual.

They were very professional, courteous and nice. Would use again.

Mike was absolutely wonderful. I originally bought the tune up, but the weekend before he was able to get here I knew that I had a problem. Before I could tell him what I was experiencing, he told me. He was extremely personable, efficient, and professional. He needed to update some coils and did not leave until he was completely satisfied. Big difference. He also checked and cleaned my second unit without my asking. Thank you and your associate.

Saved me roughly $2400 on a new condenser by dismantling the fan and washing out the filter on a condenser that wasn't working properly. Probably bought me a year on the condenser. Very courteous, friendly and efficient. Knowledgeable about the system and offered advice for when I need a new condenser.

The Owner came in personally on a sunday to assess my boiler. The boiler was leaking and not repairable. He came back the next day with he's crew and did an excellent job. He was very time efficient, clean and very professional. I was very satisfied. I would strongly recommend them for future work.
