Carter and his crew did an excellent job! Thank you for your hard work and for taking the time to explain everything. They did an A+ job and I would use them again in the future. They cleaned up well after themselves and the work that done was exactly what I asked for. This is an honest company and they got the job done efficiently. Thanks again to Carter and Savatree!

We were contacted immediately after we purchased the "Big Deal" and an estimate appointment was scheduled right away. Carter came and provided us with an estimate that was 3x the price we had been quoted by another company. When we questioned Carter about the difference, he explained that a lot of companies aren't licensed and professionally accredited the way SavATree is. In the end we decided to have one of two trees done because it was definitely needed and we had already purchased the deal. However, we feel that SavATree's pricing was outrageous. When we called to schedule the service, we were told they would arrive between 8-8:30AM on Friday, August 16th. Friday morning came and went and there was no contact whatsoever. We contacted the main office at noon that day and were told to call Carter's cell phone. When we reached him, he told us there had been an emergency on another job and that he was terribly sorry for not getting in touch with us sooner. He explained they may be able to still perform the job later that afternoon, or on Monday, but either way he would keep us informed. We didn't hear from him again until Sunday evening, August 18th. At that time he told us he would be at our home to perform the service on Monday, August 19th between 8-8:30AM. They arrived promptly at 8AM on Monday the 19th. The service took 2 hours. They were very professional and did a thorough and a professional clean-up of the area around the chipper. Overall, the work that they did was good, but was not commensurate with the prices they are charging. Additionally, clearly there are some communication issues the company needs resolve to provide adequate customer service.

They were really a great crew. On time, professional, friendly and hard working. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs tree services, and will use their services again.

Everything has gone splendidly. The Arborist is excellent and very professional. All members of the crews have been on time and have been very responsive. They are trained exceedingly well. They have performed all work to my satisfaction. Pricing, although high, is worth it.

They are a great company. They were prompt, reasonable and a honest company to work with.

They did excellent work. They listened to me and what my needs/wishes were. I have solar lights around the property and they went to great links to make sure they moved the lights so they wouldn’t get damaged. They cleaned up well after themselves.

Originally planned to remove widow-makers and split branches from October storm only, but guy who climbed the tree said that the tree wouldn't be able to withstand the loss of limbs so that they had to take down the whole thing. Cut down and cut up the tree to splittable lengths, chipped the branches, cleaned up. Done by the time I got home from work. The salesman and workers were responsive and polite. Cleaned up. Good job overall.

They arrived on the date scheduled,They performed the service of trimming our trees as stated in the contract..They did an excellant job and cleaned up everything including removal of any tree limbs. We are planning to use them again for future work. And I would most definately recommend them to others.

The first time they arrived they did most of the work and left. After I called they returned, installed the pulleys on the tree, and trimmed the rest of the hemlock trees. On the second trip they trampled some flowers and knocked down a small part of the little wall by the hemlock trees.

Sav-A-Tree (Windsor CT 'branch') arrived on time with their bucket truck and dump truck with attached chipper. A supervisor was present at the start to confirm location, and to review the work to be done. After carefully positioning their equipment one worker used the bucket to trim, another climbed a rope (that he magically attached to the top of a second tree) and trimmed as well as installed a cable. A third worker remained on the ground, dragging cut branches to the chipper and assisting the two tree men. They were efficient and all worked well together. All three worked on cleanup, and then they were gone. BTY, isn't "Sav-A-Tree" a great name for arborists!

Crew showed up early; worked most of day. Work required climbing trees that were not accessible from a bucket truck. Cleaned up completely.

SaveaTree came out quickly to look at the work to be done and I was given a quote for the work before he left. The crew came out a few weeks later and did all the work and cleaned up afterward. They were very professional and did a very good job with the pruning and clean up. I was very pleased with the work that was done.

The person who came out to give an estimate was courteous and professional. He was offering a lot of information about tree care in general and commenting on broken branches in some other trees. I had to interrupt him and let him know I was on my lunch hour and had only enough time to get an estimate for the two trees I wanted to deal with. It seemed he was attempting to convince me I should have work done on other trees in my yard. I am on a budget and wanted only the two worst trees taken care of. The other trees had minor damage. I was hoping the $140 dollar coupon worth $300 would be enough to take care of the two worst trees. The salesperson quoted a higher price so I had to add another $127. to get the work done. This seemed like a fair price to me. I had previous estimates from three other tree services, two had quoted me $150. per tree, and one had quoted me $200.00 per tree for trimming/making repair cuts where branches had broken off. The total price from Save a Tree for two of the worst trees came to $267.00 which seemed like a competitive prices compared to the other estimates I had gotten earlier.

He was super friendly and new a lot about trees and their care and maintenance. I noticed the that he made an effort to speak to both me and my husband, which some companies just speak to him. He was careful, doing only what was absolutely necessary to keep the rates low, and he considered our opinions for what we wanted. He came promptly and we wish we could use him, but the final price just came in too high. He did take the time to show us how to do some of the work ourselves to save money, and even trimmed a few branches for free because he could see how much it was needed.

They were highly informative. The fellow who owns it takes care of the largest sycamore in the state. I thought if they can take care of that tree then I can trust them with my trees.

They were very professional and quick. The cleanup was great. They were very neat about their work and we would definitely use them in the future.

I would rate them highly. My insurance had paid for it as it was an accident. I would use them again in the future.
