This contractor has no way of doing Business with the Public. Never Showed up or called. What a waste.

NEVER AND I REPEAT NEVER use this horrendous company. I had them come out for a quote in March the quote was actually quite good so I booked service. 7 weeks and 3 phone calls from me inquiring when my service would be done only to be told they can’t honor the quote because they let that arborist go... huh??? How is that my problem??? I call again furious that almost 2 months go by no calls from them (all by me) and I’m told that. Lastly I leave a message on their manager voice mail that this is unacceptable and demand a call back for further explanation and resolution, guess what; nothing, notta, zero, zilch call back.., save a tree Bloomfield Ct is a JOKE!!!!!

Service was completely acceptable...wont know until spring if trees respond.

They are a lawn service and they come periodically. They are effective. They do the job, show up on time and effective.

Liked the product - but they were 2X's more expensive. Even their non-organic was a full $20.00 more per application.

I asked them to give me an estimate to treat for gypsy moths. They responded within an hour from my initial email and came to see me the next day. When they evaluated, he told me that I didn't even need their services because the trees had a natural fungus barrier on them that kills the gypsy moths. Also he said that the gypsy moths weren't even that bad. I was very impressed with their level of professionalism and integrity, in that they didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. It's refreshing to see a company like this. I'd use them in the future based on this encounter.

It went great. The tree was a huge old oak that was leaning right over my house, in a very tight spot in my side yard very close to my property line. It was coppiced, so it was really three large trees in one. Also, there were several trees nearby that I did not want disturbed, including a small dogwood that was right in the way. The crew was fantastic. They managed to take down the tree without any collateral damage, they stayed on my property, and on top of it they trimmed a few of my other trees while they were up in the bucket. They understood how much I loved the tree and hated to see it taken down, and after it was down they showed me how rotted it was inside. A few days later they came back and took the wood, since I did not want it. I will definitely use them again for any tree work I might need.

It took them a while to schedule us once we gave them the go ahead. At first glance, it seemed like the work was done well but upon closer inspection, we found the pruned trees to be lopsided and some dead branches were not removed. We had them come back and fix the problematic areas to our satisfaction. The person (Bruce) who gave us the estimate ensured us the work would be done to our satisfaction. And it was finally! Thanks to the crew who did an amazing job in the heat of the day!

ridiculous high price to even set foot on your property!!

Due to the high winds each time we had a date to do the trees held us back awhile. They had to come out twice to perform the service because of the bad weather. Once tree branches were cut back, everything came out well. They were very professional.

We just liked them very much. They did a good job. They came when they said they'd come and it looked great after. They were very friendly, very professional.

Everything went well. Trees looked good after. We used a Big Deal to hire them but we did end up spending more money.

It went fine. I have used them before. I like them taking the tree down and sprang a plant. There’s a big difference in price. The quality of service was very good. I like them very much. They were very good. The price was fair.

Overall the service provided was good. My questions and concerns were addressed. A recommended tree cable was a good idea. The appearance of the trees look much better and I feel less stressed with the winter months approaching. The cost of service also includes my payment for the big deal.

Bruce and a four man crew arrived on time between 07:30 - 08:00 a.m. . Bruce said that the crew would be done around noon. Then he left and the crew got to work. The day was very cold and windy day. When they were done I was asked to check to make sure everything was done that I requested and it was. The crew was very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job and was done early. I would definitely hire SAVATREE again.

I wanted the tree to be less taller but other than that the job was okay. The arborist was supposed to stop by to discuss but he never did.

I was extremely pleased. The workers showed up in the pouring rain at exactly the time of the appointment. The work was done quickly and efficiently and all of the debris was cleaned up afterward. I was also given good information about notifying my neighbors about other unhealthy trees that bordered our property. I didn't know that insurance does not make the owner of the tree pay, whoever gets the damage pays! That was new to me but I was told that if I sent a certified letter or email to the neighbor informing them of their unhealthy trees, then, if the event it happens again, their insurance would have to pay. There's your FYI of the day! I also used the $200.00 credit that SavATree offered, that took some of the sting out of the situation. Thank you SavATree, you were great! Joanne

They're very professional. We've never had a problem with them. They're very helpful and reasonably priced.

Very responceive, the price was good they did an excellent job cleaning up after the work was done. My wife was thrilled with the service!!

They were highly professional, however we have another company that can do this work for nearly a third of the price that this deal.

This is the second time I had used SavATree for tree work. The first time was to remove damaged and dead branches from 2 VERY large White Pine trees in the back corner of my yard. They required a bucket truck and chipper to do the work for that one. Bruce Powell, their arborist, is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with exact estimates each time, and the work never exceeded those estimates. In August, 2012, when they did the pine trees, they had to clear a path to get to them, essentially cutting everything down that we had in that section of our back yard without charging anything additional. When they got to my house, they put pads down in the yard so they would not leave tire divots as well as placing them where the out-riggers for the bucket truck needed to be. They also removed a stump, but needed to perform the CBYD service before removing it. The service in May 2014 was exceptional with the guys just using a pole saw to remove and prune the trees. In total, we've spent ~$2500 with them for tree care over the past 2 years, and I would recommend them highly due to their professionalism, courtesy and overall knowledge of what they are doing. Unfortunately, all our work on the trees was for naught, as my neighbor just had an unlicensed hack with a Cherry Picker and a chainsaw come in and completely destroy my Maple and my pines over the past two weeks. I will use them again without hesitation, as it appears I will need to take down the pines and the Maple in the near future, as they now have become "at risk" trees thanks to my neighbor. Word to the wise.... Whether you use SavATree or someone else, make sure that they are a certified licensed arborist. It is illegal in CT for anyone offering tree services to perform tree work without an arborist license. Bruce has over 40 years as an arborist an is, I believe, certified worldwide. So, if anyone is going to know their stuff, he's your guy.
