Description of Work: Mark was professional and courteous. Rain delayed the scheduling so after 2 weeks I had to reach out to him to find out when they were coming. He responded back promptly and explained why they were delayed in scheduling. Work was completed as agreed. All in all a good experience.

Description of Work: Ill take part of the blame because I guess I misunderstood the deal but I believe their prices are overly inflated due to their high opinion of themselves. They do good work but it's too expensive. Since then I have dealt with smaller landscape businesses who can charge lower prices.

Description of Work: They removed tree branches that were close to utility lines and trimmed some other shrubbery. They came promptly, but did not trim the other shrubbery as much as we expected.

Description of Work: They removed dead branches in our maple tree. They also trimmed a tree that had limbs brushing our and our neighbors house.

Description of Work: There was a large oak tree close to our house. We contacted SavATree to remove it. When we met with the arborist, Bruce Powell, he did a thorough inspection of the tree and gave us information about the type of tree and how they would take it down. We also had him look at several other large trees on the lot and he recommended trimmings to remove dead branches and thin out the crown to prevent limbs from falling. We received quotes from others and SavATree prices were comparable. Their knowledge and professionalism sealed the deal. | |In total, we had 8 large trees trimmed, 1 large tree removed and its stump ground out. They did all except the stump grinding back in February. Since there was still plenty of snow on the ground, they did their best to clean up the debris, but came back after it had melted to do a more thorough job. Crews were very professional.

Description of Work: Based on the "Big Deal" I emailed SavATree and within 5" [!!!] Sharon, the office manager, called me back & we scheduled an appt. Mark & I walked through my backyard discussing which trees needed to come down and the limbs that needed trimming. We set up a work date for the following week and he called me the night before to confirm the start time. |Mark called that morning saying they would be 30" late due to a safety meeting in the office. As I was removing the bird bath, the four man team arrived in a company truck and cherry picker [bucket truck.] |The work order: Take down 2 dead cherry trees & flush cut their stumps, flush cut 2 existing stumps, take down a 32" walnut tree and prune limbs off the neighbor's oak. The smaller limbs were chipped & removed, the trunks were cut into 16" logs and stacked in 3 piles off the lawn. The area was raked clean. |Mark reviewed the work order with the foreman by walking through the property. The men got right to work as Mark left. It was fascinating watching the team set up the guide ropes, hold them in place while the tree trunk was sawed into pieces. The bucket truck rolled onto the back lawn to trim limbs. It was all done in half a day! |Next time: I would review the path of the cherry picker. Underneath was a dry well put in 15 years ago, which held. The truck left tire tracks which will level out come spring. I would be specific to the placement of the wood piles. I would ask for no smoking, although the man did pick up his cigarette butt. I would compare prices with a similar company from Angie's List. |I recommend the home owner remove all garden statuary, bird feeders, etc. and cordon off mulched gardens. |Billing was confusing, there are 2 addresses; one in NY, the other in South Windsor. Either address is acceptable. It takes 2 weeks for a paper check to clear. |

Description of Work: It all went quite well. The young man who came out to give me an estimate was pleasant and knowledgeable. Because they were coming from a distance, and their price structure is higher than the company that I have been using (happily), I chose not to have them do any work.

Description of Work: They evaluated trees to trim and remove; offered advice for caring for the trees. They do not plant trees. Although their price was not the lowest, we chose them as we felt they were professional and knowledgable. The service was performed on-time, in safe manners; they did a few extras without changing the price (great thing) and made sure that we were completely satisfied (cameback to trim a few branches to our specifications). We also liked that they had offered alternatives with explanations. In total: they removed two trees to stamps, one bush to roots, emoved previosly broken/cut tree, and trimmed 6 trees and a bush.
