I highly recommend Mr. Rick! Mr. Rick Pontillo, the owner, returned my call promptly and provided a fair estimate right away, and he and his crew did an excellent job. They did a beautiful job painting and also cleaned everything up when they were done.

They were excellent. They were easy to deal with. They were very clean. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. Their price was one of the lowest prices, so it was good. I was very happy with them.

Crew arrived early, were polite and clean. Ricks crew worked fast, but took the time to do the job right. Power washed about a week before the job, prepped properly, filled holes, reglazed wood windows, and didn't leave a trace that they were on my property except for a fantastic paint job.

Talked with four painters for quotes, all highly rated by Angie's List. Rick was the only one who showed up on time for the walk through. He got us the quote in the time promised. His quote was very reasonable. We closed on the purchase of this house on the 5th and his guys showed up on the 6th as scheduled. We did not want to move in until the interior painting was completed, so time was important to us. By agreeing to start the day after we closed and even working a full day on Saturday, they completed the job in one week. The quality of the work is outstanding and Rick's workers are professional and very careful. The job was completed clean once they were done. We could not have been more satisfied with the project. Rick is an outstanding individual and very easy to work with. Not only would we highly recommend Rick's Colonial Painting, we have in fact hired him again to paint the exterior of the house including gutters, trim and doors. That project starts this week.

After more than one attempt to contact this company, my call was returned. An appointment was scheduled for August 22nd at 6pm for Rick to view the proposed job and provide an estimate. Rick never turned up, never called. I called his number to find out what had gone wrong and left a voicemail message. I never received a response from him.

Rick's crew did a great job. They were reliable, showed up on time, did the job that we asked and were very reasonably priced. They did pressure washing and exterior painting, interior painting, and removed and hung new wallpaper. It was a lot of work, and he was priced significantly lower than the competition. People in this line of work can be notoriously unreliable, and I was impressed that his crew showed up on time every morning and were very professional. In addition, I like Rick. I think he is very fair, honest, and generally a good guy. Would definitely recommend.

Job executed as planned. The owner, Rick Pontillo, worked alongside of his crew. Job was done on time and to my satisfaction. I will definitely use this contractor again.

Rick painted my home several years ago and he did a good job then so I called him for an estimate this time. They power washed the house on Friday, started sanding and repairing rotted wood on Monday and finished on Thursday. They all worked very hard, they were neat and they picked up after themselves every day. The house looks good. I'm happy.

They provided me with a quick quote. They stated they were busy for an immediate job and offered other companies. Stated that if I was able to wait, they could provide the service. I thought this was very considerate. I did not go with them, however, because their prices were mid-range. They were professional and returned my phone call and spent time on reasonable quote.

We thought Rick's did a great job on the painting - we just moved into our house, and the walls were not in the best of shape, but Rick's crew sanded the walls and patched all prior holes (and there were many!), and made the walls look as good as new. They also came to our house in the evenings to do the job to make sure that it was completed by our deadline. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely hire Rick's for painting jobs in the future! As far as pricing, we had two estimates for the work; Rick's came in lower even though the other estimate actually included less work (i.e., fewer coats of paint and less prep work).

We were very pleased with all aspects of this company. They did beautiful work, were prompt, polite and cleaned up after the work was done. We would use them again for interior or exterior painting.

Very, very happy with this contractor. Rick and his crew did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. They did take longer to complete the job than had been originally quoted. They were working in the summer, so since this was an interior job they would work on an exterior project on nice weather days and come work on our house when it was raining. They knew we had time before our move date and I suspect this flexibility is the reason we got such a great price on the job-- other contractors quoted us twice as much! The results are beautiful. We will be hiring them again!

Great work! Very professional and pleasant to deal with...color is great, careful attention to detail on trim and elsewhere, finished on time and within budget. When there was a small misunderstanding on the cabinets, he came back the next day and fixed it free of charge. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so - hope to have him back soon to do the upstairs!

Rick did a great job. I wanted to paint my new place before I moved in and he was ready to go within a week of my initial call. The whole thing was done with 2 days of work.
