We still have some stinging insects that need to be treated. We signed up for the bi-monthly pest program, and enviropest offers a guarantee. They are prompt with scheduling. Great communication. They have been to our home 3 times now, they were right on time the first 2 visits and late the last visit. We had to rescedule the last visit due to them having a scheduling conflict that caused them to be late, overall very easy to work with, very professional, and great service.

I saw mouse droppings fall from a vent in our laundry room and my HOA management company asked me to contact Enviropest. They had done some vole extermination for our HOA in the past. The man to whom I spoke on the phone was willing only to describe their general mouse elimination process and would not acknowledge the difficulty of trapping mice between a ceiling and the floor above. He said that their employee would close up entry points and put out bait to lure the mice away from the building and return to check in 2-3 weeks for $300. I went ahead and made the appointment, and the man who came out to do the work was very courteous and thorough in his examination of our building (we live in a 3-unit townhome). He said he could not guarantee that working on our unit alone would clear up the problem and said he would have to do the entire building for $650. The management company approved that amount, and he closed up all the holes around vents. It took him about two hours from arrival to completion. He said that putting bait out would be an extra $200 every three months, and advised us to put out "snap traps" ourselves. It's been over two weeks, and I'm still hearing mice overhead in the laundry room and finding occasional mouse droppings. I have not yet contacted them about their guarantee as I've not yet put out snap traps, but I doubt traps will accomplish anything since the mice are in the ceiling, not running around on the floor. We've had that experience multiple times and have been successful trapping them that way. If you decide to do business with this company, do NOT be in a hurry, and make sure you understand exactly what they are going to do and for how much. Their representative was very courteous and appeared to be very knowledgeable. It seemed he might also have been working on commission, given how hard he tried to sell us their on-going bait trap service and general pest-control spraying. I think the price they charged for what they accomplished was exorbitant. It will be paid by my HOA, but it will also probably make our dues go up. FOLLOW UP: Enviropest sent a second person out in December who listened much better, and set out two snap traps for us near an unused dryer vent that he suspected might have been allowing mice access into the house. We continued to hear and see evidence of mice in the ceiling, and a third man came out in December and said he would stop up the holes around the vents in the roof as soon as there was a warm enough day. Although there was no evidence of mice in the attic, he thought that was the only way they could have gotten into the ceiling. We have had no further evidence of mice, and he returned yesterday and did the roof work. (They didn't notify us they were coming until they arrived, by the way.) While it took them four visits to do it right, they did get the job done. Unfortunately, they decided their relationship with our management service was so difficult that they recommended the service contract with a different company. They had charged the management company a reduced fee, but they returned the entire amount. I believe Enviropest could have done a much better job up front, but they did all they could in the end, and were always courteous and worked hard to try to keep our business. I regret that it didn't work out.

Gentleman on phone was very professional, understanding with a touch of humor. He explained the process in detail and answered my questions. When Josh arrived, I received the same professional, caring service and he took time to answer my questions and to explain/show how he had set traps to abae the population. I was totally impressed.
