+ 0 moreThey were excellent. First they helped us to understand prep work that needed to be done even though they wouldn't benefit from it financially. Then, when we had weather delays and they worked on calling the vendors delivering the equipment needed and arranged all delays and rescheduling including working around the other contractors doing work on our home. They also installed new light fixtures on the front of our home, making sure to inset them into the stone work (no small feat as they had to level out the stone surface for the fixtures) in an aesthetic manner as well as functioning beautiful. They worked quickly, efficiently, paid attention to detail and cleaned up (the system is very attractive). We just need to get Xcel to get out here now to get the use/production meter installed and we're good to go. I will definitely use them in the future for other electrical work, and recommend them highly.

He was very friendly and offered to clean up the minimal mess that was made from the drywall, but I had told him I would take care of it. It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this company to others and use them for any future electrical work!!

Because we have an old home, wires had to be replaced and re-routed throughout the house. They were careful to minimize impact while maximizing aesthetics. They were prompt and completed the work on time, within the quoted price. The work passed inspection in one visit. The staff was friendly and good with my dog. In addition, they were trustworthy. While assessing the job, they pointed out an issue with our existing equipment that posed a significant safety risk. We were able to verify the issue before signing off on the replacement. I would absolutely recommend Epic Solar & Electric for any electrical needs.
Description of Work: Replaced breaker and installed whole house surge protector. Also installed 120V circuit for RV and reconfigured electrical for radon fan, providing a dedicated circuit.

+ 0 moreThey were friendly, on time, and explained everything as they went. They had to trace the old wiring and connect new wiring for all the second floor. It took them less time than expected so they dropped the final price by more than $400.00. There was a short about 20 minutes after they left. They returned quickly and found the problem and fixed it. Great service. I plan to have them give me a bid for solar installation later in the year.
Description of Work: They rewired old knob and tube wiring in the attic of my 1910 house.

+ -1 moreYurii and his team worked hard for over 6 hours to rationalize power to the garage and prevent the freezers from going off because of overload and being linked to an inside GFCI. This required working in our crawlspace, on the electrical panel, and removing wallboard in the garage. They arrived absolutely on time and were always professional, courteous, respectful of our home, and clearly very competent. A friend of mine had similar work done at her house and recommended them to me because she had the same positive experience. While this work was expensive it was actually less than an estimate from another company which didn't give me or my friend as good a feeling about their professionalism. So I unreservedly recommend Epic.

Description of Work: First of all when you find people in the industry that take care of your tasks in a timely, professional, and all around awesome manner there is not enough people to tell!!!! Yuri and his crew are the best!!! I have had them take care of a 3 stage project for me.1st back in July was a full service upgrade, this was my first contact with Yuri, and unlike the other electricians he showed up on time was personable and really helped me to figure the project out.He was also able to complete the task in a little over a day.(other companies said it couldn't be done or just didn't show back up at all) When it came time for the next phases to be completed all it took was setting a time that worked with my my schedule, which he was more than willing to work around. When I reached back out (5 plus months) to Yuri he was there the next week to finish the kitchen. I am not a review writing type of person but word of mouth sometimes is not enough when it comes to the outstanding way that Yuri and Daniel took care of my electrical needs...What a great company!!! I will definitely use them again and you should too!!!

+ -1 moreConsidering the urgency of the situation, and considerable job at hand, I had expected to pay a higher rate for the emergency service. I was very surprised to find out that they did not charge me anything extra! As impressed as I was with the work and their professionalism, I still had to have it inspected with Excel energy to make sure it met the correct specs. Not only did it pass inspection the first time around, Yurii, the owner, called a couple of times to follow up with me and to make sure I had no other issues. This kind of customer service is just not something you get nowadays. Epic Solar and Electric will always be my first call! And if they did other repair work, I would use them every time. I highly recommend Yurii and Epic Solar and Electric. Thank you Yurii for taking care of my family!
Description of Work: Wow, was I lucky. I had an electric meter on my house that was settling. When Excel came out for their meter readings, they posted a notice and contacted me because I had to have my meter replaced and my wiring fixed (it was settling, stressing the wires and the box). The BIG issue was that I had to do it within 36 hours or they would shut power off to my house. With 6 month old twins at home, I panicked. This is where Epic Solar and Electric came in. I had used them previously on another job a few years earlier, and they did amazing work. I had them run 220v out to my garage at that time. They were my first call. No second call to anyone else needed. I got a hold of Yurii, the owner, right away and explained my problem and what I needed done. Because of the urgency, they came out that day, within a matter of hours. Wow. Just wow. They mitigated the situation right there, and took inventory of what they needed to install a new meter. Yurii assured me they would fix this for me, and explained to me what was to be done, and when they would do it. He said they would return within 24 hours to repair the wiring and install the new meter...well, it was more like 14-16 hours later they were back and ready to take care of this.

They were willing to travel to Colorado Springs to do the work, and work with me to schedule when it would be convenient for me. My house is 60 years old, and needed to expand my electrical capabilities to meet my needs, so they upgraded me to a 200w panel. They explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood what the upgrade would do for me, as well as what risks I would run should I have chosen not to upgrade at this time. They were thorough and professional and I have already recommended them to others in my family, and am looking forward to working with them again when I am ready to go solar!
