A bit heavy on the sale for a 2 year contract even though I mentioned at the beginning we were renting the place for only 1 year. on the first visit the technician just showed up without calling first.

The office staff and the technician who came to our home were respectful, thorough with their information, and helped put our minds at ease. The tech was incredibly kind and patient with our 5 year old, who chatted his ear off as he worked. Edge is affordable, yet effective; frankly, I was hesitant that the application would work well for the value I received, but it certainly did (I was pleasantly surprised). The 1st of 3 applications to get rid of our bug problem showed great results. We have seen VERY few live bugs, and they were looking pretty sad, so I graciously put them out of their misery. Most importantly to ME, Edge brought me peace of mind, which I haven't had for a while due to this bug problem we've experienced in our old home. I had my first full night of sleep in over two weeks; you can't put a price tag on that. I would consider this first round of treatment a success, and look forward to a continued business relationship with Edge.

It may be because it was the first treatment, however since they came and sprayed, I still had to spray several times to keep the wasps under control. My wife was even stung. So at least twice a week I spray into the holes with raid wasp spray.

Be wary, if you are looking for a one or two time service this is not the company you should be doing business with. I was contacted by a sales representative promptly after submitting my request through HomeAdvisor. I discussed my spider problem with the representative who then explained to my that their service involves 2 initial visits (the first one discounted for coming through HA) and the second one month later. He then said they continued service every three months in perpetuity. What he didn't mention was that is an actual contract you will be signing into the day the technician arrives at your doorstep has a cancellation fee that works out to half of the cost of the year of service. After taking half a day off work to wait for the technician it was only when he was on my doorstep that I realized what I was getting myself into. Because the severity of my spider situation and the fact I had already taken time off work to accommodate their appointment window I signed, thinking that maybe I could work something out with customer service after the fact. After all, I really only wanted the initial spray and a follow up. If I bought into their service my third appointment would occur in December. I don't really have a spider problem in the winter... First rep I talked to was very considerate and tried to help me find a solution. When we couldn't land on something she elevated to a manager. The manager is where the interaction turned sour. Basically I was given three options: 1. Buy into the years worth of service. I should mention that every visit carries a price tag in excess of $120 and happens every three months whether you need it or not. 2. Cancel the service in the first three days. This means I would not get the 30 day follow up appointment that I was told was critical for handling the current unhatched spiders. Also the discount that I got initially would be rescinded and I would pay for the full cost of the initial service. 3. Get the appointment and the follow up that I apparently need, and spend half the cost of a year of service to terminate the contract. Basically spending around $250 dollars to have them not come to my house to spray for bugs. So there ya go. Probably going to cancel the service because this whole situation left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Next time I'll be cautious to make sure I'm not signing into a year long relationship with companies I'm hiring to do my pest control. TLDR: Was not told that I would be signing a contract that carried cancellation costs until the technician showed up on my doorstep. Just wanted an initial service and a follow up. Apparently Edge can't accommodate that.

We had spiders all over our house and they were able to get me scheduled in less than a day. Pricing was fair and the service was top notch. I Have them on a contract now. Additioanl comments: I had an issue with billing and the company was not very understanding and accomodating. I was sent to collections and tried to work with Edge to resolve issue. I will have to find another vendor now because of the way they handled to situation.
