"Where do we start? I went through about 6-7 appointments / quotes for a couple of months with the major builders in the area. Same old story-- sales agent comes by, hear the pitch, sugar coats that it will be sub contractors working on the project, and then a wild range of quotes. Not a comforting process, especially for the major project (new deck/pergola) that we wanted.
