I contacted Shane and he assesed the situation over the phone and provided me with an accurate estimate for potiential corrections. He came out to my home the following day to correct the issue with my washer. He found that the hot and cold were not connected correctly (issue another appiance repair person did not correct). He then was able to correct my washer because there was a bulid up of soap in the drum. He stayed and corrected the issue by running the washer over and over until there was no more bulid up. At this time I discussed my wants of switching the door on the dryer around. He said that it would be no issue but that he was running behind for his stops for the day. He said that he would schedule another time to come back out to switch it around, and he would not charge me until he completed that part of the job. Since this was an add on on my behalf, I did not have an issue with him coming back, plus he was not going to charge me until he finished the job. When he returned, he switched out the door and confirmed that the washer was still working properly. Overall, I am extreemly pleased with the service that I received from Shane. Thanks

Shane had some difficulty finding my house, but it did not take him long to find the problem. He spent about 2 hours replacing water fittings and plastic tubes to correct the problem. He also cleaned the cooling fins under the refrigerator. Water is now dispensing and the ice maker is making ice. He did a an excellent job.

Shane was really great. I truly believe he was far happier telling me it would be a fairly cheap part and quick repair than if he could have charged far more. There was no condescending to me as a woman and no attempt to 'upsell' services - he worked on my schedule and called me when he was a few minutes out so I didn't have to wait all day. If you imagine everything you worry about when you're calling a repairperson, Shane is the opposite of that. I would and have recommended him to everyone I know. The only thing was that he sometimes runs behind schedule, but he let me know promptly so I wasn't waiting around.

Washer went out on Friday and sent Shane an e-mail. He responded promptly and commented that it might be the lid switch. I called him early Saturday and he arrived in a few hours, just when he said he would. He diagnosed the problem and was very detailed in reparing it. He showed me the defective part and described the problem. He not only replaced the switch but replaced the connector wiring as well. The cost for the repair including the part was $40 less than the cost for the other "big box" store to simply come out and diagnose the problem. Absolutely recommend his repair service.
