Description of Work: He determined the reason that the house furnace was not working, very quickly. He repaired the problem and informed me the actions that I must take to prevent this from happening. Since he was here for only a short time, he only charged me one half of an hour service. He was very professional, knowledgeable and prompt.

Description of Work: We needed immediate help with our furnace. We called them and we got immediate, same day service. The gentleman was professional and honest. He gave us an estimate and also said the "issue" wasn't something that needed to be fixed on the spot. We appreciated the fact that he wasn't someone who was only interested in the "sale." Description of Work: Gordon McIver came to work on my Trane furnace the same day I called him! I was experiencing an unusual noice coming from one of the fan in my furnace. When I spoke to Gordon he seemed to know what the problem might be just from our phone conversation. Nonetheless, he came to inspect my furnace within an hour of the phone call. He was very polite and professional. He cleaned the exhaust fan and some water lines that were showing signs of sludge build up. He patiently answered my questions about furnace maintenance and trouble shooting. He was very helpful! He even went outside and checked my air conditioning coils to see if they had any dirt or debris build up. The unit was very clean. The joke was on me at the end of the service call when he pointed out his company sticker on the cover of my furnace. His company had installed this furnace when the house was built! I am the second owner of the house. I would gladly recommend Gordon and PBS Heating and Air to anyone who needs help with their furnace or air conditioner.

Description of Work: They put in the in floor heating in a house that I bought.

Description of Work: Our furnace stopped operating and PBS performed tests to determine the problem. As a result, it was necessary to order parts, which came two days later. Immediately upon receiving the parts, PBS installed them in about 30 minutes. The furnace has been working just fine since then. PBS took the time to explain how the furnace operated and what was necessary to fix it. Mr. McIver was very professional in his approach to the problem and in performing the repairs.
