Description of Work: Fixed broken tile and regrouted and cleaned large shower stall. Came over and gave us estimate and returned and did the work, which was done in an excellent manner, then returned a few days later to seal the grout. All work was done in a professional manner and the result was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Description of Work: They did some caulking around kitchen and in both bathrooms. They did arrive over 30 min late for job without calling and there was some stray caulk messes that needed to be cleaned up afterwards. Overall, however, the work was excellent as was their professionalism.

Description of Work: Steve removed and replaced tile in several locations in my kitchen. He was very punctual and professional. He is very knowledgeable and has a great work ethic. We ran into some unforeseen problems with the floor which he handled without issue. I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We had broken tiles, and mildew in the master bathroom. He removed to old grout in the bathroom. Let it dry out and then regrouted it and it matched the color of the old remaining grout. A great job. The Grout Medic also replaced tow broken tiles in our floors. They were broken due to voids underneath. He filled the voids and replaced the tiles. We also had him clean all of our flooring tiles. Our house was 10 years and needed cleaning. They now look new.

 + -1 moreThe Grout Medic came out, diagnosed the problem, and provided an estimate that I considered very reasonable. He was careful when he removed tiles so that they could be reused. He fixed some areas where the tile had sunken which was causing pooling of water. When he was done you could not tell which areas had been worked on. He did a great job. He also recommended that I run a fan after I shower to prevent the buildup of mildew.
Description of Work: I called the Grout Medic because my tile shower was leaking. There were areas of the shower where the grout was coming out and some sunken areas. He removed the tile in problem areas, fixed the area under the tile, reset the tiles and regrouted. He also caulked between the tile and the drain to prevent leaks in that area.

Description of Work: Steve did some caulking in 2 bathrooms, and cleaned and sealed our shower stone tiles. He did some re-caulking in our basement shower. He also did re-grouting on our entryway tile, cleaned, and stained the grout. Steve did a nice job. We had problems with the colored caulk cracking. He came back and fixed it at no charge to us. It cracked again and I did have a hard time getting something scheduled. It took several calls. He came by again at no charge to us to re-caulk again.

 + 0 moreSteve from The Grout Medic had come to our house and given us an estimate of $445 to re-grout and re-caulk the shower in our master bathroom. We had a mold problem. We decided to hire him. He, and his assistant, Gary promptly showed up at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the appointment. They took off their shoes before they came into the house. In the bathroom, Gary laid down sheets to cover the floor. I asked Steve how long it would take. He said that he thought that Gary would be done by 12:00 p.m. Steve then left to go to another job. Gary then went to work. During the job, he discovered that water had previously gotten under a row of my tiles. He removed the damaged tiles, dried the area, and then re-glued them in place. Because of this additional problem, and the size of our shower, Gary did not finish until 3:00 p.m. He was a hard worker. Once the job was done, Steve showed up and I paid him. I have him a coupon for $50 which he honored. Also, he did not charge me anything extra for the tiles that had been repaired. Steve and Gary were extremely professional and I would clearly hire The Grout Medic again to repair any grout problem that I have in the future.

 + 0 moreHe did a great job. He was confident that he could use the old tile (unlike some other contractors), and he took the time to make sure this was done correctly. He was very knowledgeable about grout and tile repair, as this is all that his company does. They also had a coupon, so I saved $50. It was a good experience -- I would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: The drywall in a section of my shower had rotted, and some of the tile was loose. Steve removed the tile, put in cement board, cleaned off my previous tile, and put it back good as new. He also re-grouted where the tile meets the tub.
