Owning a small business, I find myself always working; taking time off is a luxury that doesn't happen often. In response to this harsh review, here is the actual timeline of events: We were on vacation from Saturday May 28th through Tuesday June 7th. My daughter had just gotten out of school for the year, and my wife, who happened 35 wks pregnant at the time, convinced me that we needed a vacation before the birth of our next daughter. I was left an original voicemail Tuesday 5/31, a message through Angie's list 2 days later on Thursday 6/2, and then impatient she decided to post this awful review the next day Friday 6/3. We returned calls as promptly as possible upon returning, and happened to call her back Thursday 6/9 (only ONE day after returning to the office). So overall, our response time was a bit over one week, and although we pride ourselves with typically responding much quicker, this instance was exceptional considering we were out of town for almost 2 weeks! I will not be made to feel guilty over this one review. Our recent reviews from our "Actual Customers" over the last couple of years speak for themselves, ie-we happened to have won the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2015! It's sad to me that people often chose to write poor reviews on situations where they've jumped the gun and been impatient. I hear often from our clients that our business service is far superior to other companies in our area. I hope in the future people will spend time reviewing companies they've actually interacted with and had real experiences to speak of.
