It went very well. Dick was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us with some design issues we had laying out the space and the work was very professionally done.

They were so easy to schedule with, I heard back in less than 24 hours with an appointment on one of my requested days. When the technician was running late, they let me know by email and phone to be sure I got the message, and gave me the option to reschedule. The actual fix was fast too. Very pleased with the service!

They were really fast, professional, and friendly. The basement pipe was fixed quickly. I asked about water heaters for a future visit and I felt like the plumber was knowledge and informative. We would use them again.

The plumber was very competent and professional. He knew his job and diagnosed the problems right away. He gave us options as to how we'd resolve the problems. He is going to install the toilets on Tuesday, April 1. I'm confident he will do a good job. We haven't been billed yet but think it will be reasonable.

After calling numerous plumbers, and doing some checking on quality of water heaters we selected Action. (We even did some checking on the reviews on the water heater and brands proposed by each plumber.) They had the best price for the quality of water heater we wanted. Their price was clear and honest. They did not give me a blanket "number" but provided a "here is how much the unit costs" and "here is our charge for installing it". They were the only plumber who did that, and while the base price on the unit was more then I could get on the web, it was the "list price" for the unit. Their install rate was a flat fee, and seemed reasonable. So, how did it go? They were on time, cared about my wood floors and worked hard to protect them when getting the water heater in. They installed it, and showed me how to start it and adjust it. They were clean and even worried about boots on the floors. The tech that helped hall it upstairs was great, as was the tech who stayed and installed it, both were super nice and professional. The checked for leaks and wrote down the install date and contact info on the heater. After installed, the plumber took a look at a shower head that was not working well and fixed it quickly, and did not charge me for it. Given they had a really honest (and honestly low) price, I expected some "add-ons", but no!!!!!! not a penny more then the original quote.... NOT A PENNY... WOW! I wish we had hired them to install our new gas line. I will go back to them again for other plumbing needs, and I would highly recommend them at this point. I will update this review, if I have any problems with the water heater... but at this time, I am thrilled with Action Plumbing.

The person who came to give the estimate (I'm spacing his name) was professional and thorough. He patiently explained my hot water heater options and the pros and cons of each. He seemed thorough and knowledgeable. Ari and Everett arrived at 9am to perform the installation of the Rheem hot water heater. They were friendly, with very positive attitudes. They worked efficiently, removing the old water heater and installing the new in about 2 hours. That included disconnecting, moving and reconnecting a utility sink that was in the way. They gave me specific instructions on how to light the pilot light should it ever go out. They left the area very clean, even unclogging out my semi-clogged basement floor drain at no additional charge. At the end of the installation I asked if it needed to be inspected by the city. I was told no. I was surprised then a few days later when a Fort Collins city inspector came to inspect my newly installed furnace (yes, we've dropped a bit of change lately), and noticed that we had a new hot water heater too. He said that yes, the hot water heater did indeed need to be inspected. The city inspector went ahead and did the inspection of the water heater at that time. He said the installation was performed well, but that di-electric connectors were required. I called Action and they came out promptly to perform the correction (they said that the original factory connectors *were* di-electric, but rather than debate the point with the city, they just did the replacement). All in all I felt I got a good product and good installation, but I was disconcerted by what seemed to be a circumvention of the permitting and inspection process.

The repair man was very personable and knowledgeable. He replaced our old leaky water heater with a new one. After he left the new water heater failed to heat up. I called the office and he came back out again. He found that the water heater was miss-wired at the factory. He fixed it and it now works fine. I appreciated that he came back the same night and worked on it until it was done.

Fantastic! My husband did some research on water filtering systems and Action Plumbing had the system we wanted. They had to cut the pipes to the main water source to the house, and no muss, no fuss! We love the filtered water. Since the system was installed, not only is our drinking water pure, our skin and hair feel much better. The installer was great to work with. Pleasant and professional!

Mark set about checking out our sink and snaked the pipes. He double checked that we had good water flow and no leaks. Next, we consulted with him about the venting from our water heater which has been described as "very dangerous" in the past. He rechecked the airflow and gave us options for the future. The cuurent system is legal and venting correctly. We have several active CO monitors just in case. While he was waiting to ensure the lines were open and flowing, he answered a couple other questions and checked our 3 toilet shut off valves which were said to be totally defunct by another plumber about a year ago (the bid for our repairs was over $2000 by the other company....obviously trolling for $$$). Mark was prompt, professional and thorough. We will call Action any time we need plumbing services. PS - Our dog liked him too!!!

Contacted the provider for help with basement leaks. Reached receptionist, who was professional, at about 8 a.m. She scheduled us for an appointment the same afternoon with arrival between 1 and 3 p.m. We waited...and waited..and waited. Just as I was reaching for the phone to call and see what was up, the provider called me. This was at 2:55 p.m. - at the very end of their arrival window. The call was to tell me that the plumber was still tied up at his earlier job -- at 11 a.m.! -- and running late. They wanted to reschedule for the next day, or later. So - leaky basement, delayed visit, no arrival at desired time

The Action plumbers finished the job in 8 hours. Other companies quoted me two to three days to finish the job.

The job was estimated to take 1-2 hours and took about 1.5 hours, though I threw in the sink fixes at the last minute. The main shutoff was on plastic piping, which Gary replaced with copper. The labor cost $132; parts and tax were roughly $60. Plus I got $10 off for being an Angie's List member. Action bid this job accurately and $115 lower than Paul's Plumbing. I'll be using Action from now on.

As good as gets, seriously these guys are the best. One of the services mentioned above was an emergency call, mid-night about if memory serves me right, of which they came to the rescue with no problem. They answer the phone, keep their dates, do great work, and have very fair prices.

Very good communication with company; businesslike, but friendly and patient. The tech who performed the work was efficient, courteous, answered all my questions, and came to site with needed part.

My hot water heater is located in a 3 foot crawl space, so the only option for a conventional water heater is a 40 gallon "low boy" electric model. When that failed, I did some research and decided to replace the electric unit with an on-demand gas unit to provide hot water for the whole house so I would never run out of hot water again. I also liked the fact that it would consume less energy than the electric one, and is more compact. In addition, I wanted to remove an old solar tank from the crawl space because that system no longer operates. When Dick came to estimate the job, he took the time to review all of the alternatives and approximate prices with me, including simply replacing what I had. He was easy to talk with, and explained everything in the detail I needed to make my final decision. Researching price ranges from other companies, his bid for the gas on-demand water heater installation was very competitive. This was a big job, and there were 4 people who worked on different aspects of it. I found Dick Zastrow and his crew to be experienced, professional, competent, efficient, courteous and clean. For example, the first thing they did when they arrived was to lay down a drop-cloth runway through the house so they wouldn't soil the carpets. They came to the job site on time, got right to work and worked productively until the job was done. Although there were some really challenging unforeseen problems with the solar tank removal they completed the job on time and Dick only charged what was bid for the job. I am very impressed with the quality of the installation. All of the plumbing work, mounting, gas and water piping and supports, venting, etc. look great even though it is located in a crawl space. The exterior finish on the venting where they had to drill through brick looks great, too. They also put a lot of thought into the best location for the installation and how the gas and water lines are run to provide easy access to both the existing furnace and the new on-demand water heater. They placed the water heater control which selects hot water temperature and displays status of the unit on a wall in a convenient place, so I can change the water temperature output without having to go into the crawl space. When the job was done, my home was as clean as it was before they started and the on-demand water heater works great. I highly recommend Dick Zastrow and Action Plumbing and Heating.

Action Plumbing did a great job and I will definately use them again. They were very responsive to my request to push service out 1 day. Mark arrived on time, laid drop cloths down on all floors between the entry door and area in the basement where the water heater was.

I forgot to ask if there was a discount for Angie's List referral, but the price was reasonable especially for the quality of work/knowledge. The plumber, Mark, was very courteous and professional and it wasn't uncomfortable having him in the house like it sometimes is with other service people. He knew what he was doing, did it, I wrote a check, and 90 minutes later our house was fixed!

Not well the first time. Told me the kitchen sink Was not a good one and would need to provide one. Was charged for 2 travel visits and a new sink and a new faucet as the one I had purchased was also no good. I would never recommend this company.

It went really well. They knew I was desperate for dryer service after a move into a new house. They did the estimate right away, and signed it and sent it back, and they scheduled the service within a few days. They followed my instructions to meet my husband at our house. In short - they GOT THE WORK DONE! Isn't that all we really want? I was super pleased because I had wasted time trying to get an estimate from another company.

Very professional. Arrived when they said they would. Completed the job in a timely fashion. This was a remodel of 3 baths with new tile floors and vanities Everything is working great.
