Action was able to send a plumber that same day. The staff was courteous and responsive. The plumber unclogged our line for us and the service was reasonably priced.

Terrible. After they looked where the drip was coming from they started punching unnecessary holes in my drywall. After punching 6 holes the guy finally checked where I thought it was originally coming from and found it was a grout issue not a pipe issue. And when he went up he finally ran water and realized that the pipe he was following by punching holes was to the air vent not the water supply! He even said he wished he would've started at the source to begin with. But they of course justified why it was ok to punch holes, and refuse to own their error, makes for bad business if you ask me. Beware is all I can say.

Everything went fine. Both guys professional and gave us some good tips. Cleaned up any mess that was made and everything works great.

This is the third time Action Plumbing (Gary) has done work at our home. It is a pleasure to have him here as I know the job will be done to perfection. The sink had to be pulled away from the wall and very little dry wall came with it. When he put it back together and re-caulked, you could not tell it had been done. Have not received the invoice yet but their prices have always been reasonable for the excellent work that is done.

Joseph is a great technician with Action Plumbing. We had a kitchen sink pipe issue that was fixed today. We called them again because they offered such great service and professionalism when they installed our hot water heater earlier this year. I would definitely recommend this organization if anyone needs a good plumber. Thanks!

Great! I'm the owner and rent the house. The girls call and schedule the repair. I give permission to do the work on the phone. They do it and we're good to go. I've used them before. I'll keep using them.

No hot water this morning. We have an ancient tankless heater in a very tough-to-reach location. Deb returned my call within minutes, and sent Ben out. Turned out to be just a pilot light, but Ben gave us some good ideas for what to do when this old unit finally quits. Thanks!

I called for someone to come out & inspect my hot water heater to see if it needed repair or replacement. Tried to schedule for early am, but they said the first time available was 1:00pm. I had a dentist appointment @1.00pm, so we scheduled for 2:00pm. At 11:00AM Gary called & asked if he could come early. Of course, I said. Gary came right away & we both decided it needed to be replaced. Gary asked if he could get started right away & I informed him of my dentist appointment, so he quickly went back to the shop to get a new water heater. Gary was able to remove & replace my hot water heater very quickly & very professionally, before I had to leave for my dentist appointment. Gary did an excellent job & was very knowledgeable about his work. I was a joy to visit with him as he worked. I would highly recommend them to anyone & will be sure to use them for any future plumbing or heating needs. I had the old water heater replaced just 10 years ago, by another company in town. The other company charged me $1800.00 in Aug 2006 Action charged me $950.00 this time ( Ten years later @ half the price ) Plus I got a top of the line Rheem unit this time, instead of the CHEAP American unit the last time. Thanks again, Gary for the Great work.

Gary did the work fast and efficiently. He replaced the p-trap and the pop up. He also explained how my husband needed to remove some of the baseboard, move the vanity back and fasten it to the wall so the vanity is properly installed. Excellent job and my husband agreed, he needs to install it correctly. Will definitely use Action again should the need arise.

Very good. Joseph took lots of time to explain to me how the system works, the dos and dont's--- and how I could correct the issue I had. It turns out that there wasn't a problem at all. He left giving me a referral to another company that could come back in the spring and test my system to make sure it's working properly (a service that Action Plumbing doesn't handle for sprinkler systems). Joseph was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful!

I've used Action before, and had mixed results - I've had good with results with Gary, not so much with another of their plumbers. In this case, we had a leak under the tub in our master bath. Gary had to do some drywall and cabinet (interior) cutting to get to the problem, but once he found it, he fixed it fairly quickly. He was friendly and professional. On a previous visit (spring 2015), we were having water pressure problems with two of our faucets. The first plumber from Action looked at both faucets, checked the water pressure and told me there wasn't much he could do. On the second call, Gary arrived and diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes (the rubber washers in the hot water line had degraded and disintegrated over time, and the little bits found their way up the supply line to the faucet, where they were clogging/restricting the water flow). After the fix, the water flow was back to normal. Action didn't charge me for the first visit.

Our 12 year old water heater sprung a leak, luckily I had a water alarm on the floor so we had no other damage. We had used Action for other work and liked their service. We called them and were quoted approximately $1050 for a new water heater of the same type. The actual service and installation was great. When we got our bill in the mail it was over $1300. When we called to inquire, we were told we were originally quoted the Loveland price and the actual bill included additional Fort Collins fees that were required. Action knew we lived in Fort Collins as a repeat customer and we gave them our address on the original call to schedule and get the estimate. I would think Action would have made good on the original estimate...they did not...very disappointing. Make sure you tell any plumber where you live right up front when getting a water heater replacement estimate, and ask about the city fees. 8/15/15 Update: Action Plumbing did refund the difference from the quote to the actual charge citing we were erroneously billed the wrong amount. However, they did not offer that refund when we called them, only after we posted our review on Angie's List. It took 45 days to get our permit for the completed work so we could schedule the city inspection. We do not know if that is a Fort Collins issues or Action Plumbing issue.

It went great at first. They showed up promptly they gave me a great estimate. They did the job quickly and the job site guys weresuper nice. The issue came when I tried to turn on my sprinklers and I found that they had driven the back hoe over some sprinkler heads and busted them. I called to find out if they would replace them. They told me somebody would call me back. Nobody did and so I called again and was told the same thing. It has been over a month and still nobody called me. I assumed it was their responsibly to fix the sprinkler heads, however I was totally fine if it was not. I just wanted somebody to call me and instead they have just ignored me. What concerns me most is what if the issue was more serious would they call me back? I am going to replace the heads but I would not recommend them to anybody because of how unresponsive they have been.

On Friday evening of a holiday 3-day weekend, my kitchen faucet went "dead". No water would come out, and to make matters worse, when I messed around with the intake pipes under the sink, I bumped against the p-trap and water started to leak into the cabinet floor. I called Action Plumbing and was told I would be charged extra for an after-hours technician; he could replace my faucet, but not repair the existing faucet as it was an off-brand and they didn't have the parts. Luckily, Home Depot was still open, so I was able to purchase a new faucet and bring it back home before the technician was sent out, which was about 30 minutes after my call. Before he started to work, he mentioned that the pipes under the sink were not installed well, but he would take care of everything before he left. He installed the new faucet, took apart the pipes and re-sealed them, and disposed of all the old parts. I know I was charged extra for after hours service, but I feel the charges were very reasonable, considering it was Friday evening of a 3-day weekend.

A toilet was flushing very slowly. Repeated plunging was required to get anything down. Mark, the plumber came out to check it. It was a strange problem to figure out. After doing some testing, he determined there was no clog in the toilet or sewer line. He figured out that some gunk was likely plugging up the toilet's flood rim (such as minerals or mildew) and cleaned it out. I've never run across this and he said it was pretty unusual but the toilet works great now. I was impressed with his professionalism, friendly attitude, and ability to think outside the box to fix this problem. The price was very reasonable and I highly recommend Action Plumbing!

Ari and Everett from Action Plumbing arrived on a very snowy morning to replace two aged water heaters. They were polite and professional. They covered the floor to prevent any dirt or snow from soiling the carpet. After the installation was complete they explained the safe operation and ignition of the heaters. They did not try to sell us on any new additional items or service contracts like 24 Hour, Ben Franklin and Mr Sparky do. Action was recommended by a friend and Angie's List. We have found our plumber.

This was in a rental property, Gary went out to take care of the problem. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought about him needing to turn the water off to the building, and I was out of town when he went. He called me from the job and I agreed we'd have to reschedule when I could be there to unlock the access to the water valve in the building. After we hung up Gary went out and dug around in the snow to find the valve by the street. He completed the job and saved me the money of having to come out twice. Gary *always* does a fantastic job!

Great experience. Stephanie answered my email 1st thing Monday morning and had someone out later that week. Our plumber, Matt, was super helpful and explained everything that he was doing, got the job done quickly and also made sure that everything was cleaned up once he left. Would use them again for sure.

Service was prompt, the dispatcher, sorry I forgot her name, she was great and passed messages back and forth leading up to the service date and confirmed with us the date of service. Action sent Mark out to do the job. He showed up on time, was extremely pleasant. We discussed what we were looking at doing and made the decision to move to a modern washer box, with hot, cold and drain recessed into the wall that makes the laundry room look 100 times better. Mark was professional, a good listener, and kept his focus on the job at hand. He left the work area clean and involved me in the work as needed. The quality of the work is excellent, i was able to inspect the changes that had been made. I would recommend Action and Mark and will use them again when I have plumbing needs.
