It has been two weeks since I called requesting an appointment. No response. I left a clear message with my contact information. I have used this company before so they have my info on file. I have no clue my they did not even return my call.

Doug and Greg are fantastic. They are professional, amiable and reliable. Doug was thorough in his estimate and presented options. Greg and his assistant were terrific. They were professional and cleaned up nicely. I'll definitely call on Greystone again for our electrical installations and repairs.

They were very prompt and very neat. They cleaned up after themselves everyday - it took 3 1/2 days. They called me if they ran into something that was not anticipated and asked me how I wanted to proceed. They did an excellent job.

GREAT experience. Doug was very communicative and came right away as scheduled and gave me some advice and quotes on future work we need done as well and gave me information on working to code. Pricing was great, he even offered to come out on the weekend.

Doug was timely and courteous for the initial appointment. Recommended appropriate level of service after discussion and walk through. Actual work was performed by an employee of the company and an apprentice. They were on time and finished the job as quoted.

When I called to make the appointment, Doug answered a lot of my questions over the phone, which was helpful. I was quoted 3 hours of labor with 2 electricians at $97.50/hour. They typically do not work on Saturdays, but accommodated my Saturday request. Only one person, Greg, came to the house (who arrived when he said he would). This was fine, as it only took him 2 hours to do the general checks. (It helped to have made a list for him.) He answered questions along the way, and then gave us a list with quotes for "must do's" and then "nice to haves." They honored the Angie's List coupon when I asked about it.

They were very responsive and prompt. They were thoughtful in working around the painter we had in the condo at the same time. I have asked them to bid on another job I have because I was very pleased with their work.

He did the work on a Sunday which I thought was a good touch. I was very pleased with the fact that they were very prompt and with the price they gave me. It is a straight forward company. I will keep using them.

Doug came out and looked everything over to give me an initial quote. He was very personable and helpful, he even had his partner Greg come out that same afternoon to move some wiring that was in some walls that were being cut out. They put me on their schedule for the following week and Doug prepared the estimate, he communicated with me throughout the planning phase. Once the day arrived, Greg showed up (on time, he was always there before me!) with an apprentice and they did all of the work together. The whole job took two whole days and the very next day, we found another wire underneath the bathroom floor that was in need of attention and Greg showed up right away to fix it for me so it wouldn't delay my bathroom being finished. They were both great to work with and very patient, it feels good to know that I can rely on them to get things done. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were professional from the first phone call to the finished job. They were on time for both the estimate and the job, were done earlier then they estimated, and charged $8 less than the original quote. I will absolutely use their services again and refer them to anyone who needs an electrician.

The man who came was a gentleman, courteous, and prompt. He assessed the problem quickly and repaired it quickly, in addition to showing me where the reset button or GFI button was (It was in an unlikely place). He explained that the outlet where the problem occurred had barely enough wire that he could replace the receptacle. I knew that work had been done by a non-electrician. He gladly gave me the Angie's list discount.

I was very concerned about having another bad contractor experience since my original basement finish guy was absolutely incompetent. I studied Angie's List looking for "A' rated electricians to repair the damage. Greystone was highly recommended, so I called them. To my surprise, someone (Greg) answered the phone immediately and came out the SAME DAY to look at my mess AND he was on time. I was very impressed by this. Greg was very pleasant and professional. He was able to schedule my job the same week. Since there were many mysteries that needed to be solved, he could not give an exact quote (which I understood). He took the job on a hourly rate and said that it would take about 8 hours to complete the work unless he ran into big problems. When he arrived to start the job, he was on time again! I was blown away! He completed the job in 8.5 hrs. I highly recommend this company and wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future.

Doug returned my call quickly and he and his partner Greg were able to come out immediately. They evaluated the problem quickly, and then made a temporary fix so that we could have power back on right away. Doug said that he would have to find the vintage breakers that needed replacing. That it would be much cheaper if he could install them later in the week rather than making a special trip right then to locate them, which was agreeable. We then discussed the additional work that I wanted to have done. I assumed he would give me a quote before starting that part of the job. He assumed he had the go ahead for this additional work. With out giving me an estimate he went ahead and did the extra work when he returned to replace the defective breaker switch. They did excellent work over all and I was very happy with them, other than the misunderstanding regarding the quote.

Mr Lawrence was very professional and informative. He was on time and did a wonderful job fixing our outlets and light fixture. I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a good electrician.

These people really did care it was early on a Sunday, I could tell we just woke him up. He said he would have someone call back in 15 minutes. He called back and said someone would be there in the next hour. They arrived in about 40 minutes. He listened to us found the problem and fixed it. He may have been here for an hour and the problem was fixed. They stated they would charge us for an hour of work and they probably spent two hours here. They were very confident, courteous, knowledgeable, and they really did care.

My original estimate was higher, but some circuits I thought were bad turned out to be fine. I appreciated his honesty in this matter.

Doug was pleasant and respectful. He helped me troubleshoot my problem.

Doug responded to my email inquiry with an estimate within a few hours of my sending it on a Saturday. Greg came over Monday afternoon, & diagnosed & remedied the problem in 15 minutes. Very efficient, very pleasant, & very capable although our small problem was not complicated. Pricing seems reasonable & we will definitely call this company for future electrical work.

I was very pleased with Greystone Electric Company and their quality of work. I found them in a local newspaper ad and found out that they are a great neighborhood/community involved company. They gave free estimates and are willing to do small jobs. I highly promote this company!
