After having experiencing contractors in the past that had left us feeling frustrated, disappointed and taken advantage of… It has been a breath of fresh air to work with Gravina’s Window Center of Littleton. We had tried going the route of “finding a great deal” in the past, only to discover cheap is expensive in the long run, and our “deals” had left us with poor quality products and even worse quality workmanship. We decided this time around we would research and interview for all of the projects we were about to begin – this time it would be about finding the best value for our money, professionalism, quality and workmanship. Our first meeting with Gravina’s was to look into replacing a few basement windows. After meeting with Jim Gravina, Mike Gravina and Justin Shyong – loving their energy, knowledge and ideas – we decided to have them replace the windows in the basement and replace our back patio doors. I can’t begin to express how excited we were to see the finished project – the back door had become a favorite focal point of our home! Once we had actually seen, and experienced the difference with the windows, door and workmanship from Gravina’s, it was a “no-brainer” to have them handle “phase two”… siding our garage and replacing the garage windows. Again, everything was awesome! Knowing that our James Hardy siding was done according to all of the proper guidelines of the product was important to us. Of course, with everything going better than we could have expected, I can honestly say, we were excited to hire Gravina’s again for “phase three”… replacing the windows and front entry door on our main level (the remainder of the house), they continued to exceed our expectations and we are absolutely ecstatic about everything! John Gravina and his crew did an incredible job with our window & door installation, as well as Wynette & Samantha who had come back to do perfect staining of the interior windows, door and casings to match the hardwood floors in our home. It seems a little strange to say I was excited to work with a contractor – because I think many of us have experienced that nightmare of having someone in your home and just praying for the day they will leave – but the peace of mind knowing that things are going to be completed right, all of the proper follow thru will be done, having qualified and respectful people working in your home, knowing that you have a company you can trust, and knowing you will have beautiful windows, doors and siding to enjoy for years to come, is something to be excited about! Upon writing this review, I have reached out to Gravina’s to let them know if they have a client that would like to see the work they have performed at our home, they are welcome to schedule a time with me to bring them by (this is something that we have only offered to do with Gravina’s and Luxescapes, the landscape/hardscape company we worked with on our backyard that was also incredible). Because I don’t want to post my personal contact information over the internet, if you wish to call me regarding our experience with Gravina’s, you are welcome to get my number from Gravina’s. If you are looking for windows, doors or siding, I would highly recommend contacting Jim, Mike or Justin to come by… you will not be disappointed! We hope you will find this information helpful in your search for a qualified contractor for your project! ~ Kevin & Jeri-Lynn ~

We’ve previously had “Gravina’s Window Center of Littleton” replace five windows in our house and I didn’t have a second thought about having them replace more windows and a patio door. Everything went great from the estimation to the staining of the trim. We will need more windows replaced in the future and look forward to having Gravina estimate for those windows. They are a great family owned company.

Gravina's kept us up to date on when the install would happen. They showed up on time every day. The crew was very polite and respectful of our property and furnishings. John Gravina made it a point every day to let us know when they would be back the next day and what part of the project they would be working on next. He even delivered the exterior trim on a Saturday so that I could paint it before it was installed.

We had our windows replaced by Gravina?s Window Center of Littleton. We are very happy with the windows and the service we received. After shopping several different companies we found their prices and product quality to be the best. They are a family run business and the sales people and installers are very professional, protect your property during installation and get the work done promptly. We are going to use them again next year to finish the rest of our home. Glenn--- Englewood Colorado

This review is about Gravina?s Window Center (Jim and Mike Gravina). You will have to be judge if you believe Jim and Mike Gravina should be trusted to provide you a quote where you can be assured of proper follow up and guaranteed pricing. I?ll try to be brief, but please finish this review. It will likely save you some heartache. Jim and Mike Gravina came out to quote the job. I requested Simonton Series 5500 windows to finish Phase 2 of a window job, involving the replacement of 15 windows. After taking the necessary measurements, I discussed the confusion of receiving responses from two Gravina window companies. Jim advised that Gravina Window and Siding was owned by his brother and that they were two separate businesses. Jim also advised that his brother did not carry Simonton windows, which later proved to be a lie. Ultimately, I received quotes from both brothers. Mike Gravina (Gravina?s Window Center) delivered a quote that was shy of $12,000 for the replacement of 15 windows, interior jambs and casing (to include stain) and aluminum clad exterior frames. The other Gravina window company provided a quote for identical work (to include the same Simonton windows) for a comprehensive price of $22,000. This is where the fun started. I chose Gravina?s Window Center for the obvious reason of price. I did ask Mike Gravina if he would honor a promotion on Angie?s List, which provided $500 worth of windows for $100. We met all the qualifications of the promo, but Mike tried to suggest this promo was for Marvin windows?the primary brand that Gravina Window Center sells. After that discussion, I tried to secure a date to sign contracts. I wrote Mike two emails?and there was no response. I left him three voice mail messages, and there were no return calls. I set an appointment with their receptionist, and that was later canceled. The receptionist promised Mike would call, but he never did. I spoke with Jim the following day, and was told Mike had been on vacation (a fact that was not shared by his receptionist the day before). Jim promised Mike would call that morning. He never did. I called back into the receptionist, and by this time I was quite upset. She advised that Mike was on a sales call, and she would leave a message. After all of this frustration, Mike finally returned my call. He advised they were not interested in our job. The only reason given was that they were too busy for my job. I was totally mystified, wondering why they were on sales calls if they were too busy. Upon telling my wife, she made a brilliant observation that they likely underquoted the job, considering there was a $10,000 difference between Mike?s quote and his Uncle Larry?s quote from Gravina window company. I don?t know. You be the judge. So why was I turned down for this job? Was it because they underquoted a job, and knew they weren?t dealing with an unsuspecting buyer that would allow them to increasing their bid price after contracts were signed? I?m not suggesting this is the case with Gravina?s Window Center, but with Mike?s refusal to provide an honest reason as to passing on a $12,000 job, my mind is left to wonder. If they were truly too busy, why were they on sales calls the same day that they canceled a ?closing? meeting with me? I only know this. I was forced to look again for a contractor after Gravina Window Center wasted 5 days of my time playing their highly unprofessional games. Had I read the complaints on the Better Business Bureau prior to receiving a quote and realized this company was not BBB accredited, I would have suffered a lot less heartache.

We give all customers the best estimates we can. We are not able to meet all expectations and for that we apologize. We are a higher end window replacement company in comparison to the other company stated so our prices reflect value and quality installation. We have been in business since 1973 and our track record proves our reputation.

Jim and his son came to the house and were very thorough. I liked them and I liked their product so I gave them half down on Aug 7, 2014 and they were clear that the installation would be around the beginning or middle of October. On October 19th I called Gravinas and was accosted by a very rude receptionist. When she found out that I was working with Jim and Son, she refused to help me at all. She said, our families are competitors and she didn?t know their phone number. It was the first I knew that there were two Gravinas so be warned the one is Littleton is where the Patriarch resides and the one I trust. Finally, on the 31st of October, after an apology from the company, Lonnie the installer arrived and was delightful. He was very professional and in two hours we had our new window. No surprises.

We ran in to some problems with the window. I also had to micro manage the project and that was really frustrating for me. We have emailed and contacted the owner a few times to allow for him to get back to us. Once the job was done, he never followed up to make sure that it was done right. I had to schedule all the different pieces. I would not ever recommend them. The price was good. The quality of work was good too.

WOW ...... wish the whole world could see our new kitchen window !!!!! The old 3 piece window was completely punctured and a wooden blind was permanently covering this ugly window for many years. When the new window was put in place, it was obvious that it was an awkward fit for the window hole. But no worries at all. As usual, Gravina had a solution. Not only did we get a gorgeous window but also a custom built beautiful window ledge. No one will ever know a little problem lurks beneath that ledge. This large window and Gravina's frame and ledge design makes the kitchen look considerably bigger. However, we rave the most about the view out the window. We had entirely forgotten what it was like to actually SEE out the window. Here at 8,000ft in the foothills, we now have a full view of our wooded hillside with many deer. Can't wait till we can spot the bear and mountain lion through this window. There is no question that the kitchen will be our new hang-out place. THANK YOU Gravina for giving us gorgeous windows, several custom built frames/ledges, and for letting a lot more sunlight into our house. Michael

What a terrific experience! We have used Gravina's twice before and have each time enjoyed exceptional satisfaction. This time was no different. The project took about a week to complete. Jim (the owner) stopped by four times to check the progress. The install team (Mike, Beau and Alex) were professional, courteous and committed to doing the job perfectly. We are thrilled with all aspects of this project. The Marvin Infinity windows are superior, the framing solid, external and internal finishes look really fantastic. Mike recommended a slightly different internal window framing approach that gives a set of three vertically stacked windows a very classy look. Beau's drywall work blended perfectly with the existing drywall and texture. Alex's work on the exterior siding is perfect. The team was light-hearted and worked very well together. They were very easy to work with, fully responding to any questions we had about the job. This is a top notch outfit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gravina's Window Center for your window project.
Description of Work: We contracted with Gravina's Window Center to replace five windows on the back of our house. Two of the windows required a rather complicated rebuild of the rear wall because we wanted the windows moved and enlarged to take advantage of a western view. An engineering design was required and followed. The project did require some residing on the exterior and drywall work on the interior of the house.

It went well. The installer(s) took care to put down floor cover to protect my flooring during installation, vacuumed And cleaned up the debris. My old windows were uninstalled and taken away and that was a tough process in itself since every old window casing held double Windows! All my heavy wood blinds were taken down by the provider as well, and reinstalled once the new windows were in and finished. I have new sills also, and the workmanship is great. Because of the double patio doors, the provider had to do minor construction to adjust to a new singlene patio door where there were two before! This was done and the construction and patio door looks great!

In 2008 our son's bedroom windows were so wrapped from the sun that we could no longer close and lock them. We wanted windows that would keep out the morning heat but also keep the cold out in the winter. We ordered the Infinity by Marvin windows and Gravina's came out with the windows and took out the old, replaced them with the new. They also caulked the outside and the inside of the window after they used the foam insulation around the edge of the windows. The temperature in the boy's rooms have never felt this comfortable in all seasons. We were so impressed with the quality of the windows and the work and the crew that in 2013 we called them again. We had a sliding glass door that faces north and in the summer and the winter the blackout drapes would stay closed in order to keep the heat out or the winter cold out. This was not something we did not like because we have a great view of the mountains and we loved having our draped open. We once again we called Gravina's and ordered a Infinity sliding glass door. Eight weeks later the door came in and they installed it on a cold and windy winter day with such a beautiful job that, like the windows in the boy's room, you would think that the new door was always here. Now I can leave the drapes open in the winter or the summer and you can not tell what the outside temp is because it does not transfer to the inside of the house. I amazes me the quality of the work they do, they treat our house like there own. They always explain everything thing they are doing or if they find something that I might not know about. This year we replaced the master bedroom and bathroom (north facing) windows. Our glass block bathroom window had leaked and the bedroom windows were no longer keeping the wind out. We once agin called Gravina's and ordered new windows for the bedroom and a working privacy window for the bathroom. They did such a wonderful job on the window installation and making them look like they were always here except these windows at more beautiful than the last windows. The guys showed me where the bathroom window had leaked more than I thought and rotted a section of the siding but they repaired that until the next paint job on the exterior of the house. I just love everyone of the Gravina's family and crew that I have encountered so far. I trust them explicitly with their recommendations and work. I would hire them for everything else on my house if they did it all. I can say with my whole heart they are people I trust and we keep coming back to them because of that trust.

Everything went exceptionally well. They were ahead of schedule; first came the men to remove the brick from the outside making way for the door. Two days later the window and door crew arrived (3 altogether). They removed the windows, mounted the new windows and doors, and finished in one day. A couple days later the painter came by to finish the project - and again everything went smoothly. My neighbors have commented on how nice the new windows looked, but were amazed at the "window - now a double-door" leading to the patio. I'm now looking forward to building a deck over the new door, and having Gravina come out again and put a new door upstairs leading to my deck!!! Gravina's is the Best Window Company in Littleton, if not the entire State of Colorado.
Description of Work: Gravina's Windows are in Littleton, Colorado where I'd seen their ads and billboards many times. I stopped in and asked if they could remove a window and replace it with a door to my patio. They said "absolutely", showed me some samples in the store and made arrangements to stop by my house. When they came, I showed them the 3 windows I wanted changed and where the door would go. They gave me a very fare bid for the entire work and I signed the contract

I contacted Gravina's to provide a bid for replacing several windows in my home. Jim and Mike Gravina came to my house, measured the windows, and provided us with an estimate for the windows. We told Jim and Mike that we would be receiving one additional estimate and would let them know in a day or so. At this point they offered us a discount to sign up with them tonight, agreed to their discounted price and signed a contract. They put together a contract, took our credit card number for the deposit, etc. All seemed great until the next day when I received the following email from Jim: "Jay and Shannon, Last night I tried to add your order to our truck only to find out my daughter Jennifer closed the truck before she left work last night. This means that we cannot add your order to the truck. I apologize….should have checked first. I will need to cancel your order. Sorry." At almost the same time, I received the following email from Mike (with our contract attached): "Hi Jay, Here is your copy of the sales agreement, please keep it for your records. It was a pleasure meeting you and Shannon, I appreciate your business. Sincerely, Mike" As you can imagine, I was fairly confused and sent an email to Jim for clarification, here was his response: "We had better pricing on a truckload of windows. Yes, it would be delayed but my pricing will change because we cannot get your order on the truckload. Jim" This was all strange to my wife and I, wouldn't a reputable business apologize for their mistake and provide us with a new price. I think most business owners would do the best they could to live up to the signed contract. My wife followed up with Jim and Mike with the following email: "Jim, We are very unclear here. You gave us a price. When we said he needed to think and have one more estimate, you offered a deal to purchase tonight (or last night now). You never told us there were stipulations to this. Also, in your email reply to jay, it seems if you wanted to have our business you wouldn't just cancel the order. If you're interested in our business let us know, otherwise we can go elsewhere." We never heard from Jim or Mike again. I would be careful dealing with the Gravina's, it does not seem like they do business the right way.

Gravina's Window Center is the best! Over the past 5 years, we have used them to replace most of the windows in our home with the Marvin Infinity Ultrex. In our most recent phase, we replaced 12 windows in 7 openings. We LOVE these fiberglass - frame windows! Gravina's installation is professional, attractive, and top quality; AND they clean up after themselves! These windows have made a huge difference in the interior comfort of our home, and they stand up to the extreme weather we experience in the foothills. Jim and Mike Gravina provide complete information about the windows so that you can make an informed decision and come to your home to take accurate measurements so that the windows fit properly when installed. We have only had minor manufacturer issues, but when we do, Gravina's handles them promptly and with no hassle. When we are ready to replace the basement windows, we will definitely call Gravina's Window Center again!

The product and the service were excellent. The new windows are much better than the windows they replaced. They are keeping the warmth in the room and I can see they will keep the heat out in the summer which will be a blessing. The young man who did the the job was prompt, polite and did his work with the minimum amount of disruption. I would highly recommend Gravina's to anyone who needs windows replaced.

The workmanship was outstanding! The installers were friendly and very professional. It was clear that they took pride in their work. Due to our travel schedule, a good amount of the work was done while we were out of state. I felt completely comfortable letting the installers continue working while we were away. When I returned, it was clear that they had taken great precautions not to damage any paintings or furniture during installation. They also cleaned up the areas where the installation occurred. There was one glitch and that was the single door in the kitchen. The manufacturer had placed a white divider between the glass instead of a bronze pane divider. The error was brought up to Jim Gravina who called the manufacturer and requested a new glass insert with a bronze divider. The new window was installed AND instead of just a bronze divider between the glass, Lonnie installed wood inserts that were placed on the outside of the window covering the bronze divider on both sides of the window. The wood inserts for the single door will be stained to match the wood dividers on the interior face of the casement windows and painted white on the outside to match the exterior side of the door. That was totally unexpected but VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!! The resulting This is a top notch company. When I am ready to replace several additional windows, it will definitely be through Gravina's.
Description of Work: We ordered 4 patio doors with wood pane inserts, 1 single door with bronze pane dividers between the window and about 22 casement windows in custom sizes with wood panes. The doors and windows were produced by Marvin Windows. We purchased them through Gravina's in Littleton, CO. The approximate price was $70K. Our old windows and doors were removed, and the new windows and doors were installed by Lonnie, Bill and Wynette (staining).
