Professional, detailed and informative. They arrived early, completed the work quickly, helped us understand what caused the odor and what to do moving forward for best performance. We will use them again.

The logs were misplaced in our new home's fireplace, and I wanted someone to re-place them and look everything over for peace of mind. I called A Safe Home based on Angie's List reviews and it turns out that they have serviced our fireplace in the past. This is a family-owned business and one of the sons came out. From my initial call to set up an appointment to the time he left he house, I was very impressed with the professionalism, punctuality and service provided by A Safe Home. I will definitely use them again.

Jacob arrived right on time and ready to work. He was pleasant and professional. He cleaned the glass and re-positioned the logs which made a tremendous difference in the appearance. A couple safety checks and repairs later, he was completed within the half-hour. He readily answered all of my questions regarding fireplace maintenance and care (first-time user). I look forward to working with him and this company in the future.

Prompt and courteous technician. Grossly overpriced on parts. Called and completely disinterested in correcting the issue.

This is a family owned/operated business, which I prefer. I had an appointment for that evening, but I got a call from Dylan, one of the sons, that morning saying that he was in the area and asking if he could come early. I was home sick, so I agreed. He was efficient and had the job done quickly. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing and has a lot of experience. He let me know what the problem was, what it would take to fix it, and how much it would cost. He had all his tools and paperwork, and was very orderly. He removed the trash/debris when he left. I was pleased, although I thought it was expensive. Later I turned on the fireplace and flames shot out all over the place. I waited a while thinking it would calm down, but then I thought I smelled gas, so I turned it off and shut off the main valve. This happened over the Christmas holiday, so Safe Home was closed. I called and left a message. Daryl, the father, called me back on Saturday morning, and explained that the chimney must have gotten too cold with the severe temperatures. He told me what to do to relight the pilot and warm the chimney. He offered to come back the following week when they had an opening, if I felt I couldn't do it. I followed his instructions, and everything is fine now. I appreciated the prompt call back.

The company was friendly and very easy to schedule an appointment with. For an 8a-10a window, the worker arrived promptly at 8am and got straight to work. He was thorough, professional, and efficient. The gas fireplace in the condo probably has not been cleaned since the building was built in 2005/06. The glass was so full of soot and fogged up that you couldn't even see the fire. The back walls which should have been black were grey. I bought the place a year ago and finally had gotten around to getting cleaner in. They did a fantastic job, the fireplace looks brand new and impeccable. I can now actually see the fire, let alone know that it is safely cleaned. I recommended them to my parents already.

Having just moved into our new house, we recognized that the previous owners had not used the fireplace for many years. We wanted to get a professional in to clean it, and verify its function and safety. I called A Safe Home and they were extremely polite and accommodating on the phone. They were able to schedule a technician to come in the very next day! On the day of service, the technician showed up a half hour early and got right to work. He verified all of the the function of our fireplace, cleaned it, positioned the gas logs for optimal heat transfer, attached an extender for turning the gas on and off, and answered all of our questions about the fireplace. The tech was extremely courteous and professional, and our fireplace works like a charm. I have found our service provider for gas fireplaces in the area and would recommend them to anyone! They were SO NICE! They even set an appointment early in the morning so I did not have to miss work. They were clean, explained everything and priced the repairs fairly I have recommended them to anyone that asks.

Though the appointment had to be scheduled a ways out due to the time of the year and the cold weather in the Denver area, it was well worth the wait. Dylan was our service provider. He arrived earlier than scheduled and was polite as can be, without seeming as though it is forced and unnatural. He got to work right away and determined that there were two issues. The one causing our issues with the pilot light was just that it was dirty and needed to be cleaned. He also noted that there were some questionable issues with the wiring, so he addressed those as well while he was in there. He also polished the glass in the front of the fireplace, who would have known you could see in there so well. When he was finished, explained what was done, we did the paperwork and he was on his way. If everyone working for this company is as good as Dylan, my only question is why they do not have an A+ on this site.

Dillion did a great job. He completely disassembled the log set, replaced the leaking valve and pilot and cleaned everything including the logs. He told me what had happened to cause the original valve to leak and walked me through what he was doing and why. Everything works beautifully now.

The technician, Dylan, showed up a few minutes early. He was polite and professional. He explained the components of my gas log set and what was needed. We discussed different options for the fireplace, and he answered all of my questions. In the end I had my gas log set updated. Dylan had all the parts to do the job on hand and was able to make all of the fixes very quickly. I will use this company in the future for my gas log set needs.

We almost replaced our fireplace but decided to give A Safe Home the chance to see if it was salvageable. It looks brand new and works great! I have already recommended A Safe Home to my other daughter who lives in Westminster.

I have three gas fire places. Two have stopped working. I called a SAFE HOME yesterday. The phone was promptly answered by a human being, the owner, and an appointment was scheduled for today. It is a small family owned business and one of the sons did the work. He was on time, pleasant, professional and knowledgable. The fireplaces look brand new!! I am extremely pleased with the work that was done.

He knew what he was doing and did it really well. Even if I wanted to save some money, I'd never know what he was doing.

Although the install went fairly well, I was not happy with the location of the logs. Unfortunately I was not at home when the installation was done and my husband did not notice. I felt as though the installer should have had the experience to know that it should not have been so far to the back of the fireplace.

We received a prompt appointment, and punctual and professional service. Second time we have used this small business. They are fantastic.

They were several weeks behind but it was not an emergency. Dylan arrived one hour early and serviced the unit, giving professional advice (when asked) and assuring me that the original parts were still in working order. I also perceived that he truly was experienced and knew what he was doing. Although other companies were offering specials, I opted to go with a firm that specializes only in fireplace service and repair. Although they charge more, the peace of mind that things were done correctly is worth it. The fireplace actually works better now than when it was originally installed by company representatives.

We are both happy with the service provided.
