Sean from Tipping Hat came on time, got to our furnace through the narrow crawl space, noticed the last service person didn't close something correctly and got our furnace working. No charge! Very courteous and professional.

If I could rate this company in the negative I would. They are dishonest and incompetent. I hired Tipping Hat through Home Advisor to install an electric heated walkway. A representative came to my home and the project was discussed. After more that a month of multiple calls I received a quote of $3870.00 and Tipping Hat finally committed to a date to perform the work. I hired a concrete company to tear out the original walkway to prepare for the heating element installation by Tipping Hat. The installation was not as requested and not to specs of what is necessary to provide adequate heat for the walkway to melt snow and ice. Tipping Hat then told me the quote provided was for only a third of the walkway. I told them I would lay the additional heating element myself and to order more material. Instead Tipping Hat came out at night, without notice, and pulled up the entire heating element that had been installed. Tipping Hat then sent another quote to me stating they would need to upgrade my electrical panel, which would cost $12,611.00. The original quote of $3870 to heat an 87 linear foot walkway turned into a $16,481.00 quote for a panel upgrade only 30 linear feet of the 87 linear foot walkway. This company is a scam. The negative reviews are a true reflection of the dishonesty and predatory behavior of this company. If Tipping Hat provided an original quote $16,481.00, I would not have proceeded with the project and I would not have a torn up walkway. As a side note, I have now hired another electrician and the entire project including panel upgrade, materials and 87 linear feet of heated walkway installation is costing me $5,500.00

The installers were very professional, cleaned up the area when done for the day. Actually installed two furnaces and disposed of the old ones in one day.

These guys are fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They gave a nononsense bid on a swamp cooler, even recommending a cheaper option due to the setup of our house. We greatly aprpeciate their expertise and willingness to help us as the customer!

Tipping Hat was hired to do a full replacement of a 30 year old furnace/AC system. They were hired due to their reputation and the job Wayne did in specing/quoting the system and tailoring this to my real needs. The installers, Floyd and Corey, did a very professional job, respectful of the home during the work, and took the time to fully explain system operation and function upon completion to my satisfaction. Overall a first class operation and would definitely use them again.

Guys were nice installers did decent job. salesman lie to me when talking about the financing he told me he couldn't do the no interest loan they advertised which was fine I understood my credit wasn't great . But he did sit at my table and he told me that I was approved for 0 interest for 2 years on 10000$ sweet I can still afford that no problem a week after the install I get a email with the loan info long story short 6 months 0 interest 30% apr after that . Wont answer my calls or text ? thanks Brad you screwed me. No body can afford a loan like that. Thanks alot.

Make promises they do not keep. Sloppy on some installation. Want their money before the work is done. No, follow through on promises made and denied making the promise. Late (three weeks) in submitting the rebate. Surly attitude when challenged about poor work. Refused to honor the discount coupons.

Product seems fine (after first 12 hours). Workers were professional and competent. Scheduling was a real mess. What a headache!

First employee came out to assess the problem. Told me of issue and a fair price to fix issue. Then a few days later an associate came out and fixed issue within a couple hours. Professional and friendly. Recommend this company for plumbing issues.

Liberty is one of my favorite professionals. He has a kind heart and gentle manner and is very patient with b people of my generation. He explained in detail what problems I was having and did a thorough job. All work guaranteed. I would gladly call this company again for my plumbing, heating and electrical repairs.

In April, we had Tipping Hat Plumbing-Heating-Electrical replace our 20-year-old forced-air heating system and add central air conditioning. At the same time, they replaced our electrical breaker box. The HVAC is a new Amana system, for both heating and cooling. The breaker box upgrade also added a whole-house shut-off and fixed some issues. We could not be happier with the entire process, from first sales visit through after-installation follow-up. Kevin Eddingfield, our sales representative was knowledgeable and patient, and took the time to answer our questions and provide multiple options. We asked for three references, and Tipping Hat delivered. We call all of them, and they called us back. The final quote was accurate, and easy to understand. The financing terms were executed as promised. The electricians that replaced our panel, Chris and Chris Ditmore (father and son), were efficient, careful, considerate, professional, and patient. They went above-and beyond what was required to make certain that our electrical service was replaced with a minimum of disturbance. They reviewed our service, checked the entire house when they were done, and even replaced a few faulty outlets. We will ask for then by name the next time we use Tipping Hat for electrical work. The HVAC technicians the next day were paragons of professionalism and efficiency. The utility room is small land cramped, but they removed the old system and installed the new components without so much as scratching a finished wall. We choose to add a whole-house humidifier and an ultraviolet light air cleaner, and I think that both components will add value to the system. We also choose a replacement filter subscription, and now we will have filters delivered t our door. The installation came with a service plan, with multiple tune-up visits per year (important to us because we maintain our home systems diligently). They worked very quickly and carefully, tested everything, and left no mess in our house or back yard. We chose an Ecobee5 smart thermostat, and they helped me set up its initial programming. The new thermostat was wired with a minimal amount of drywall damage â and even that was repaired by Tipping Hat a few days later with no problems. The entire experience has been positive, and we look forward to having Tipping Hat help us in the future with plumbing/electrical/water heater upgrades in the future.
