Offered a simple cost effective fix

They were prompt and communicated well. My issue was that my upstairs heater wasn't working. They looked and found that it was due to the preasure switch not working and they said it was not working because of the lack of air from the induct motor ... something like that. They said i would need parts and it was around 1200. I found another company that came and fixed it the same day. They said there was dirt stuck in the preasure switch stopping the airflow. And that all the parts was good. So both companies found the same issue but maybe due to the lack of experience, tipping hat thought the parts needed to be replaced. Or the technician just missed it. Either way, I would have been out a grand if I went with tipping hat. Could have been an honest mistake, but I would have lost money.

I used Tipping Hat to first perform maintenance on my 20-year-old furnace. We quickly determined it was on its last legs, so they installed a new furnace and A/C. I found them to be extremely professional, quality, customer-oriented, trustworthy, and responsive. They have continued to help me with my energy rebate since. I would highly recommend Michael L. and his team from Tipping Hat, and will hire them again!

We ended up with a unit that was covered in excess oil, which led to an extended period of burn-off and a few episodes of smokiness throughout the house. The Tipping Hat team was amazing throughout, making sure that the problem wasn't something mechanical or related to permanent faultiness of the unit or faulty install. While it was concerning to deal with multiple smoky periods in our home after installation, I knew that the Tipping Hat team was dedicated to making sure that any and all problems were resolved. They were actually prepared to replace the unit completely, but we ended up sticking with it, and eventually, the excess oil burned off. Now we are very satisfied - it's great to have a high efficiency unit which is great at heating our home. I also appreciate that they helped us find any and all rebates through Xcel. Lastly, their commitment to safety during the pandemic was so appreciated, always wearing masks and keeping visits short when they needed to be.

They did a good job

From the first call, through the install, their team is completely customer focused. When Sean came to offer a bid, he reviewed everything, tried something even to get our heater running, and was extremely professional and polite. Bob gave me a call to let me know when the team would be there. The team (Chappy, Roman and Nate) came out and were polite, respectful of the work area and never hesitated to answer any question or allow us to see what they were working on. They did a BEAUTIFUL job with the install and were very nice to boot! Sean's follow up is appreciated as well.

New thermostat is much more complicated than what we need. Difficult to get good information from mfg. Did not come with a manual.

I wish I could give them 6 Stars. Had a new HVAC system installed December, 2019. They initiated the first call sometime in March or April to get my AC up and running. They were great. Today, I had my entire HVAC tuned up and cleaned. Isaac Wakeham was INCRECIBLE. Not only was he professional, polite, and just a nice guy, he was willing to educate me and he was very patient. When I was confused on something, he called me to see if he could walk me through it. If I didn't understand, he offered to come right away and take care of the issue. He did such a great job walking me through it, he didn't need to come out. GOOD JOB!

What could have been a wonderful transaction was not. Multiple issues with the original install required another technician to resolve. He said he would need to order some parts to make everything work. Three canceled or missed appointments later, still no parts, and still everything not working. We are nearly to the first payment of our 60 months no financing, and we still do not have what we paid for.

Sean from Tipping Hat came on time, got to our furnace through the narrow crawl space, noticed the last service person didn't close something correctly and got our furnace working. No charge! Very courteous and professional.
