They were prompt and did a thorough job.

Arrived during promised time frame. This was a repair job that was adequately handled. This was not a complete installation as this site implied. Resolved my issue without discovering other issues with the A.C.

AC and Furnace replacement done well!. The sticker shock was...a shock. But we researched and spoke with friends in the neighborhood and in other parts of Denver Metro and Tipping Hat was a good price. They did a great job with great customer service.

Had a lot of communication issues. Lack of updates on scheduling. The installers were great as were the sub contractors. The administrative side of the business was sub par. Things got straightened out but only after we complained.

I was very happy with Tipping Hat's service and will use them for ongoing projects (plumbing and electrical).

He came out, but didn't bring in any tools. Within a few minutes he stated he was done and the furnace did not need cleaning. This was difficult to believe since it had not been cleaned in two years. However, he stated that he would send an email for recommendations for future services, but I never heard back. I even contacted the company and requested this information, but was never contacted. I wasn't charged for any services, but to be honest I don't believe that the furnace was even examined since he was upstairs within a few minutes. Also, since I was selling my home I required proof that the furnace was examined and I was promised this via email, but did not receive it.

super helpful with giving recommendations for in-floor heating, and installed a high-efficiency combination unit, replacing our water heater and 60 year old boiler. on-time, communicative, and transparency was great!

I contacted HomeAdvisor on a Thursday evening when our furnace was producing an odor and the blower would not start. They connected me with Tipping Hat and Tipping Hat sent Chad over that evening around 6:00 to look at our old furnace. He got the blower working and said we really need a new furnace. Our old one was over 60 years old. He contacted his boss and Robert called to set up an appointment with Sean for the next morning to discuss our options for a new furnace. Sean arrived at the set time and looked at our existing furnace, gas line and duct work, explaining to my husband what needed to be fixed and what the replacement furnace would be. He talked to us about our options and the cost involved in each. He was very personable and professional. He advised us to turn off the old furnace and provided us with two electric space heaters to use until the crew could come on Monday to replace the furnace. The installation crew; Tristan and his helper and Sean arrived on Monday around 11:30 AM. The furnace was completely installed by 3:30 PM. Tristan walked my husband and I through what work had been done and how to operate the new furnace and thermostat. The area was completely cleaned up. Sean also helped us get financing which fit our budget. All in all, a great group of people to work with.

They completed the work quicker than scheduled and did a terrific job.

From start to end, they did a great job. They communicated very well to set my expectations and did exactly what they said they were going to do at the price that was quoted. Thank you Tipping Hat!! I look forward to working with you again.

Only problem was office staff not arranging meet-up time correctly, day of service.

I hired them to winterize our swamp cooler and agreed to pay extra to have it thoroughly cleaned. They drained it, took photos of a slightly frayed fan belt and sent them to me along with a comment that the pads were old and needed to be replaced (I put new pads in 8 weeks ago). The next day I got the ladder out and opened up the cooler. First - they didn't even turn the power off (Switch is right on the outside of the cooler)! Second - the water tray is filthy. Third - they didn't put the canvas winter cover on it as requested. I sent an email to Tipping Hat over a week ago and let them know of the situation and still haven't heard back. I contacted HomeAdvisor and agreed to allow them to reach out to Tipping Hat to give them a chance to resolve before I escalated the matter with HomeAdvisor. This was 6 days ago and I still haven't heard back from anyone. NOT HAPPY!

Was nice to have someone like Nik who knew what he was doing and answered all my questions. Gave me three options and pricing for the repair.
