Description of Work: My locust tree desperately needed trimming. I'd hired a yardwork guy at first to do some trimming, but he did a terrible job, so I got 2 other estimates to fix that and really get into this tree, as well as remove some branches that were too close to the roof. Mountain High did a good job of trimming, from what I can tell. They didn't completely clean up after themselves, however, I had to go through and pick up quite a few branches. But, overall, they did well. I have very tall trees, forest-sized, and apparently, there aren't too many companies who have equipment tall enough to get up there and do the job. Mountain High is one, and they are reasonably priced.

 + -1 moreThe company had provided an estimate about a month earlier. Someone called a few days before the work was to be done to tell me a crew would be there the afternoon of July 12. The crew arrived on time and knocked on the door to tell me they were there. They got right to work and finished in a couple of hours. Before they left they cleaned up the lawn under the trees. We use Mountain High Tree every few years to maintain the trees on our 1/3-acre lot. They always do an excellent job of trimming and cleaning up. Whenever we have used another company, we have regretted the decision.
Description of Work: Trimmed four trees and cut down one stem of a declining clump aspen.

I was very pleased and will switch to this company. The man who did the estimate offered to apply a senior discount of 10%, which I appreciate.
Description of Work: Trimmed and shaped two small trees (Amur Maple and Golden Rain). They had not been trimmed since planted several years ago and had a number of weak limbs. The Golden Rain had lost a major branch last winter in a snowstorm. They are much sturdier now and their appearance is much improved.

 + 1 moreThey were very prompt and knowledgable. They did however, miss mulch around a side fence and covered a couple of small mums just planted last year. The follow-up treatments to the lawn and garden areas have been prompt, however. They are very friendly and will use them again.

A slight misunderstanding over the estimate done in Sep09 and how long the discount lasted was given grace by the owner and accountant which was unexpected. I would recommend this company to anyone. I look forward to having our tall linden trees done too.
Description of Work: Pruning of our favorite maple tree before the leaves popped out in the spring. Workers were professional, made the tree shape look great, trimmed off the dead branches from the hail and wind event of July 2009 and cleaned up the yard below when done with the cutting. Now that the leaves are fully out, the tree looks fantastic.

The price was reasonable and they were able to schedule the service exactly when I needed. The crew that completed the trimming was on-time, safe, very professional, and extremely good at there jobs. They left my trees looking great and the yard was completely cleaned up. I have already recommended Mtn High to my neighbors and I recommend them to you.

 + -1 moreThey are excellent and I really like them. They do a really good job of the tree trimming because they know what they are doing. They do free estimates and they?ve never charged me any more than what they estimated. There are cheaper tree trimmers around. I did use them for tree spraying at one time but they sent a guy out that didn't know a birch tree from an aspen so he sprayed all of the wrong trees. They company offered to send him back out but I wanted them to offer to send someone else out. I stopped using them for spraying.
