We purchased a big deal for the service. I wasn't here when he came to trim the tree, and my neighbor said that they were there only 20 minutes. When I looked at the trees, it looked like there were twigs in it that could have been removed. The deal was of 99 Dollars for 200 Dollars, and their estimate was 205 Dollars which I thought was ridiculous, because they wanted another 5 dollars. I am not too happy with the service, I don't think it was 200 Dollars worth, because 20 minutes is not too long to trim a pretty full tree. By the time you get up there, and haul it away, it takes time. My neighbor does my yard, and he was paying attention.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a good job. I think we paid an additional $195 to have extra tree trimming done. They did just as well as everybody else did. I asked them to give me a bid on some other things, but I thought they were quite a bit higher than other companies.

Showed up when they said. We have used them several times in the past and would use them again.

They were satisfactory and I would recommend them to other. I would also use them again in the future.

They were prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. The grass is growing so it was good.

Mountain High Tree Lawn and Landscape Company trimmed our trees and shrubs and removed the old debris. They provided us with a cost estimate before the job, provided different options, and then delivered a quality service.

Went very well. Very personable and professional staff. When they were done you'd never know they had been there. And that's a good thing.

I called Mountain High and a number of other companies to give estimates for cutting down a number of trees and grown up suckers in my yard and along my fenceline. I went with Mountain High based on reviews here on Angie's list as well as their competitive price and the fact that they are in my neighborhood. My contact wasn't always responsive, and I had to call him instead of him calling me a couple of times to work out the date for the work to be performed. When I got home the day of the removal I found that two trees were not taken down and one tree was not trimmed which was supposed to have been. I called and reported it and they came out a few days later and finished the job, but it put me behind on some other items I was working on as I needed the trees out before I could move on to my next steps. I asked for a discount for the trouble and was told that they couldn't do anything for me. I'd pass on these guys. They got the work done but not the first time around.

The price was $250. I'm very happy with the information. They were very professional and courteous. They gave good information and took a nice amount of time explaining the health of our landscape. It was a pretty good experience.

Work was done efficiently, the fertilizer was excellent. Had to have a second dose of the weed control, but when I called to ask for more, there was no problem. They provided the second without any further cost to me. Those in the office most courteous and followed through on each appointment.

A technician came out (but did not bother knocking on the door or calling me on my phone while he was at my home). Neither the technician nor the provider bothered to call me to let me know that the technician had been there. I had to call the provider the next day to determine what had happened. A few days later the technician came back and indicated that he did not have the correct tools to perform the repair (even though he allegedly had come out and inspected the problem before) and would be back the next day. The technician never came back. When I called the provider I was told that the technician had left a message on my cell phone. I never did get a message from the technician on my cell phone. The provider then indicated (for the first time) that they were going to have to charge me for the repair (even though it was the provider negligence which caused the break in the first palce). AVOID!

Estimator was knowledgeable and very thorough, work was performed on time and workers were tidy and good communicators. We plan on using this company for more tree work later this summer.

The service done was quite professional and impressive.

Large, dying Ponderosa pine growing out of newly redone deck and adjacent to house was efficiently removed with no damage. Clean-up was excellent too.

I spoke with them shortly after I bought the Deal and they were friendly and professional, but informed me that they don't service my area. They encouraged me to get a refund from Angie's List.

Tom, the landscape architect was prompt and professional and used a landscape architect who specializes in edible landscapes. The plans were provided ahead of the schedule date. I am having the colored set framed as they are a work of art. The office staff kept me informed of what was going to happen when, even to the delivery date of the port a potty. Mountain High's communication allowed me to have my dogs out and in the house without interrupting their work. The crew cleared the ground, installed the raised beds, rolled edging, mulch, trees and plants and always kept a clean and neat work area. The path around the raised beds is an excellent surface and allows for walking on a level surface. It is like having my own walking track with curves! The variety of plants, trees and shrubs offer a variety of fruits for making pies and jams. Mountain High is available to answer questions on organic gardening and composting for me. Tom and all the Mountain High crew were prompt, professional and very helpful. The landscape gets awesome praise, usually Wow, I really love this! As I write this, May 6, 2013 the fruit tress are getting ready to bloom, the raised beds are ready for planting and the birds are happily feeding from the bird feeders.

Contractor was professional but very personable. I trusted his opinion and followed his recommendations. While he did not perform any services other than what was paid for on Angie's list, he did make a referral for another contractor to do yard work. The jury is still out on that referral. This statement has nothing to do with the contractor that is being reviewed, he did an excellent job and we would call him if we are ever in need of landscaping and we would most certainly recommend him. However, having just moved to the Denver, CO from Texas, it seems that the economy is doing a lot better here because we cannot find contractors who are willing to do the jobs that we are quite ready and able to pay for. They come to the house, take a look at what we need to have done; they send us a quote; and all our attempts to get back in touch with them to set up a time to do the work have been unsuccessful. This has happened to us twice. We have yard work as well as flooring that we need to have done and we cannot get these contractors to even call back. And this is after we have agreed to pay them what they quoted. Would someone who is more familiar with Colorado contractors give me a heads up as to what we are or are not doing? Or maybe it is just us.

They came out, did the job and I was very pleased. I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They put the little yellow stickers in my yard to warn that they had used weed killer. They told me the chemicals would need an hour to dry before it was safe for pets or children. There was no mess after they were done. I liked their attitude, promptness and service.

We came home from work on 4/5/13 to see a pesticide flag in our front yard and an invoice stating that they had applied Roundup. It was unclear from the paperwork where the Roundup was applied. We are furious at this miscommunication and misrepresentation of their services as a family member has serious health issues that are aggravated by these products. Mountain High's website states their services as being "eco-friendly and green." This is greenwashing at its finest. We've called to find out where all the Roundup was applied and can't get a clear answer. Did they add it to my garden that I've worked on for five years? Who knows? Steer clear of this company.

We got the weed treatment through some type of gift card on AngiesList. The treatment was fine and we expect to hire them to come each month this year.

The Mile High office had some problems with Tom's phone number and were not aware of the Angie's List promotion, but once I got his cell number Tom was very responsive and proactive to set up our first appointment. He came by to see our yard and gather our requirements and input. He said that they had quite a backlog and that he thought it would be 5 or 6 weeks before they would have our plan finished. We agreed that they could come by anytime to take measurements, etc. We are anxious to see the plans.

Did a great job, showed up on time.
