I described the problem over the phone and he promptly let me know it would be more affordable to buy a new one rather than try to have it fixed.

Very professional serviceman, but for what should have been about an hour's worth of work and a $60 part, I paid almost $300 (plus the $25 voucher for a free service call and $50 off service)-- that's about 1/3 the cost of a new fridge. The part they ordered didn't fit and the serviceman had to manually reshape the hole for the on/off switch to make it accessible. He was friendly and knowledgeable, but the final cost put the labor around $200+/hr. Ouch.

Serviceman responded that day and was abl e to diagnosis the problem quickly and ordered parts and repaired the next day. Has been working great since. Good warranty from Tubby on the repair.

Paul came on time and was very friendly and professional. He examined the icemaker and found that a cable had become tangled in the mechanism, preventing the icemaker from "dumping" the ice. He untangled the cable and tested the icemaker, which now works fine!

I went to Home and bought a new washer, they came to install it and take away the broken one. The Home Depot installers couldn't get the old water lines off the spicket and left. I called Paul and he came over, fixed the water line and installed the washer. Because it was within 6o day days of last visit it was no charge.

It went great. He was prepared, equipped, personable, professional and efficient.

Not a conclusive diagnosis. Not sure that we wanted to invest more to repair this old unit, especially without certainty of success.

Excellent. Reasonable price, quick service, everything works great. He found parts of clothing clogging a filter drain inside the washer door seal and showed us how to keep it clean. Would have never known that was something to watch for. It's been at least 6 months since service and everything is still working perfect.

Found out that the oven needed more than the igniter: was only charged service fee (not for part), and offered assistance should we try to fix the oven ourselves (of if we decided to go forward with a fix). He even suggested fixes for a wonky ice maker in the freezer. Braved snow, altitude, a long hike up the drive way, and 6 dogs - was incredibly impressed with the service and would definitely hire again.

Resolved. Fixed the light fixture and reversed the hot/cold supply.

He charged me just for a service call. They did a good a job. It turns out that they just needed to screw in something loose. I did have a little trouble getting through to them at first.

It was excellent! These are very honest people. First they replaced the the ice maker - the most obvious problem. Told me to call if ice was not forthcoming in a few hours. No ice! Turned out the ice maker wasn't the problem. It ended up being a bad circuit board that controlled the ice maker. Rather than charging me for a new ice maker and the circuit board, they put my old, now working, ice maker back in the freezer - returned the new ice maker - and only charged me for the circuit board and the labor to put it in. Next time I am just calling Tubby Appliance. With honest service like this, I don't need to shop for anyone else!

Paul Tubbs talked us through the problem, went and got the repair kit for the start device, and came over quickly and got it back working. He was great to work with and knowledgeable.

Josh arrived around 4 pm on a Friday. Didn't have the part that needed to be replaced. It was too late for him to go get one. Had to go the whole weekend without doing laundry and we had already waited a few days... When he came back with the part all went well. Josh even gave us some self-help tips which were very much appreciated.

I had a refrigerator stop working late Saturday afternoon and I called this company Sunday morning. Paul picked up the phone and ran me through some basic troubleshooting steps. Over the phone we diagnosed that my compressor was shot on my 15 year old Frigidaire so it was best to replace it. Most other companies would have wanted to come out to tell me the same thing but Paul was happy to help.

After buying a Deal, I phoned Tubby about replacement of the oven heating element. Tubby said replacement was not difficult and that I could do it myself. He provided the name and location of the Distributor for my particular heating element. I purchased and installed the part and now the oven works fine. Tubby's information was worth the $25 cost of the Deal.

He was very responsive to returning my phone call and making the appointment at a time that worked for my husband. On the day of the first appointment, he didn't show up during the scheduled time, but when we called to ask where he was, he recognized that he had forgotten to place the appointment on his calendar and came to our house after his last call for the night to make sure he had kept the appointment with us. He diagnosed the issue and told us how much it would cost us to fix it, or he told us that we could use duct tape as a temporary fix. He also pointed us to the coupon on Angie's List at the time for his company. We chose to purchase the coupon and have him come back to perform the work, which was only a few short days later. The washing machine works great now, and was significantly less than having to replace the whole machine!

Very easy to schedule and great service! The repairs was completed and have had no further problems.

I sent an e-mail about setting up an appointment and he replied back that he will try to call back the next business day but if I don't hear from him, to call him. I didn't hear back from him, and replied back to the same e-mail he sent me asking for him to reach out to me to set up a time to inspect the refrigerator ice maker and our dryer that has some bad parts currently. Never heard back and thus never used him. It's been a few weeks since I've last e-mailed him for an appointment and still haven't heard back.
