Paul was great to talk to on the phone, got us set up with an appointment very quickly and then called back to say he had an opening that very day - the tech who came out called to tell me he was on the way, and couldn't have been nicer when he was in the house - super courteous, got everything fixed and put back like new - had all the parts in his vehicle. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We were very happy with Paul's service. Our refrigerator broke Christmas Eve -- without asking - Paul volunteered to repair it immediately. We had a functioning refrigerator within 4 hours. Thank you Tubby Appliance for going above and beyond.

Paul Tubbs was professional, polite and thorough. Our GE stove has been nothing but trouble since we moved in four years ago. It was always setting off the CO2 detector at very inopportune times (like when cooking Thanksgiving dinner). Paul got right to it and figured it out much better than the guy from GE who came under the "service contract," and obviously did not fix the problem. Paul determined what the problem was and replaced the faulty component, turning up when he said he would and keeping tidy about his work. Paul also happens to be a very nice guy and it's always gratifying to engage pleasant people in the care of ones home. I had the feeling he was genuinely concerned about doing a good job for us, which made for a great experience. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PAUL TUBBS!

The service call went extremely well. Not only was Paul able to meet me the same day I called, but he had the parts needed on his truck. Paul is an extremely knowledgeable and nice guy and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Paul came out to our house on Sunday (!!) and took a look. He diagnosed the problem - a part was broken and needed replaced - and gave us a few options on how it could be fixed. He was able to get the part and come back the very next day to fix it. We had gotten a coupon through Angie's List that ended up saving us the cost of the service call. But even without the coupon Paul's service was reasonably priced and comes with a guarantee. Paul, himself, was great. He was knowledgable and friendly, and very flexible about his time. We called on Friday and he came out on Sunday! Replaced the part on Monday. We are very pleased and would gladly recommend his services to others.

The washer is repaired and Tubby Appliance gave me a 30-day warranty that if anything else broke on the washer then the labor for the repair is covered. I would only need to pay for the part. In other words, he expects that his inspection and repair of the washer is thorough and puts his time and labor behind it.

I called Paul and he came out within an hour of my call. My old oven quit working and he said he'd diagnose the problem and would not charge me if he felt the problem could not be solved. After taking a look at the 1950's oven, he determined that he could possibly fix it, but we tried the 2nd oven on the unit and it worked fine (I'd never had it on before). Because he checked out the 2nd oven for usability and correct heating, he only charged me 1/2 of his normal service charge. I will call Paul Tubbs for any appliance repair in the future. He is professional, personable and a good guy!

Paul came out the same day I called right when he said he would. Paul is professional, obviously knows his stuff and is also very personable. He checked over the whole dryer for any other problems and gave 30 days labor guarantee not only the work he did today but on anything else that might go wrong with our dryer. He works on all major appliances and I would also call him if I have problems with anything like a refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.

Finally!!!! An awesome repairman!!!! Being new to Angie's List, I tried two of the top rated appliance repair and drain cleaner companies. They were A DISASTER! I figured Angie's list was a joke. I tried TUBBY'S Appliance as one last shot before cancelling this service. Not only is this company responsive, very detail oriented and knowledgeable, but it is extremely helpful, ethical and has integrity. The best repairman I have ever hired and I was in property management frequently dealing with rental repairs. I am in no way affiliated with this company but can't say enough as to what a great surprise it was to finally find a truly qualified, honest, reasonable service!

Paul was very knowledgeable, professional and repaired our appliance with ease. He was able to find time to come out to our house even when my schedule was demanding. His pricing was very reasonable and was far less than the other technicians I have dealt with. I would recommend him without reservation.

Fridge was not cooling well. Paul first replaced evap fan because it was noisy and underpowered. But then fridge did not cool at all. On a return call he discovered a burned out connection on the motherboard, which probably failed completely as the fridge was constantly being moved. I was becoming impatient with the incremental progress, but his labor guarantee and desire to satisfy the customer made it right.

Paul was very conscientious and followed through on everything he said he would. As with most plumbing projects, some issues developed, but he stayed with it until everything was completely resolved. He was very professional and courteous and cleaned up entirely when the work was done. We live in the mountains about 10 miles from the nearest stores and he made numerous trips up and down to get parts as issues arose. We couldn't have been more pleased with the results or the experience.
