Description of Work: John came to my house on time. My computer had pc computer had been inexplicably freezing up. Within an hour he had diagnosed and completed the repair for his minimum charge of $115. I had had another company come to look at it. They said to call the manufacturer! John was courteous and honest. It has been 4 weeks and my computer has not froze since.

Description of Work: I may get a little long winded so, bear with me. Brad of Kaatz Computers & Electronics repaired and returned my mother's computer to her home and left an indelible mark upon me as my first use of Angieslist! Prompt, courteous, informative, thorough and most importantly.... friendly! Brad answered every question I asked and even advised me, the computer guru, with tips to keep her computer running more efficiently. Prior to that, he walked through my newly purchased home and advised me of the *proper* (Okay,...So I'm not a guru!) equipment necessary to upgrade my existing network that he's going to help install. With his carefree demeanor and pleasant attitude, I actually feel like I've gained more than just a hired gun, and as corney as this sounds, I feel I've gained a friend! Just like when you find that one auto mechanic that knows you and your car, or for the ladies that Beautician that knows your hair, Kaatz Computers & Electronics will handle all my computer & IT needs!

Description of Work: I needed to have my wireless connection updated and password protected. I also wanted to get rid of an old PC and back up the data. We chatted on the phone about what I had and he made reasonable suggestions and then was prompt to upgrade the router and back up my old PC. He even suggested we increase the RAM on our Mac to make it run faster. He ordered it and came back and installed it. Everything went smoothly and I felt he was honest with great suggestions.

Description of Work: I called Brad telling him that my internet connection was not working and wanted to donate my computer. He suggested removing the hard drive and told me to remove the screws on the back of the computer.
