They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They were very polite and quick. They did it on schedule.

It turned out fine. They have been good which is why I continue to go to them. I’m satisfied with them.

The guy did a pretty good job installing it, but there was a part of the wall that was damaged during the install that was never repaired. I didn’t push the issue, but for the quality of door I feel the price was good.

My Mother’s heating and cooling bills went down 25% after the installation. They were great! They were reliable, on time, and efficient.

Everything went well. I was very pleased with the work. The installers were nice. They have 2 people doing the installation and they are very professional. They finished the work in day.

They did what they said they’d do. It was great! Joey, the salesmen, was a good guy. He made sure things were done the way we’d like them. He treated us well.

They did a great job! After they did the first porch, we hired them again to do another porch. After they got the windows in, both projects were done within the day. The windows were from Anderson and they contracted out the labor.

They did a wonderful job! They cleaned up the inside and outside of the house. All the employees were really nice. They did a good job. We are very happy with them.

They did the work over a 2 year period. The price was around $1,000 per window. They did a great job. No complaints. The work was pretty seamless.

Great service! They were professional and cleaned up afterwards. It was great! No issues. I had them come back to do a couple replacement parts which was covered under the life warranty.

We are shopping for a more modest price to replace our windows. The salesman did follow up but was not aggressive or pushy. That was refreshing.

The installer for Anderson, Milan Hasse, delivered all the windows to my garage in early May. He then postponed the start of the job twice. He removed all the upstairs windows in one day and was unable to finish installing the same day, so I spent one night without a window in my kitchen. He lost parts to reinstall the front blinds on my picture window in front and had to order parts. After 4 weeks with no blinds on that window, it was discovered that the blinds were broken. Milan bashed in dry wall and corner beading in almost every room and had no clue as to how to repair it. He broke 5, cultured marble window sills and wanted to replace them with crappy, wooden ones from Home Depot. This installer was so lazy and unprofessional that he caulked over foam remnants on the bottoms of the windows, not to mention that he was not using the caulk that he should have used. He also damaged the siding on the south side of the house. I had finally had enough and the manager from Grand Junction had to come and finish the job. This install began on May 28th, 2013 and was not complete until July 11, 2013, when the last window sill had been re-made and installed in the kitchen. The lock on the sliding glass door broke within 2 weeks and had to be replaced. I am not convinced that these are quality doors and windows. Time will tell. Anderson did take $1000 off the bill, but that wasn't enough to compensate for all the priming and painting, lost time at work and the loss of sleep from the stress of dealing with an incompetent installer.

Gary Brooksmith (salesman) came over. He was very professional, very friendly and prompt. He took an immediate liking to our dog. We took Gary back to show him the windows. He educated us that there was nothing wrong with the window. Instead, the seal or piece between the 2 panes of glass had come un-glued and was falling down within the glass itself. He said that he could sell us new windows at about $1000 a piece or instead, he recommended, we could call a glass company and have them just replace the glass. He stated that the cost to replace both windows glass would probably be around $400. He said that he could, of course, sell us new windows, but if it were his house, he would just go ahead and replace the glass. We certainly appreciated his honesty and recommendation! Afterwards, he actually educated us about our regular, vinyl windows. He showed us how to take out the window itself (single hung windows) and educated us about the importance of vacuuming out your windows and window sill (inside) at least annually. He also recommended using silicone on the track once you have the window out. We learned a great deal from Gary. He was unbelievably helpful and honest. Our respect for this company has grown tremendously. While we didn't purchase any windows from them, we certainly will consider them in the future if the need arises. We couldn't have asked for more.

Poorly. They are now just now following up to see if we planned on doing the work. We went with someone else 9 months ago,

We stopped by Renewal by Anderson to see their product and inquire about pricing. A sales person was in the store, but said they were closed. He showed us around anyway and told us about their product. We could smell alcohol on his breath. He never called us to follow up. We ended up getting all new windows from another manufacturer.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. We got four bids and decided to go with Andersen windows. Our salesman was experienced as an installer as well and gave us great advice. He even came (to our town about 70 miles away) to check on the start of the installation and the finished job. The installers went beyond the extra mile to do a fine job. They found lead paint and did all of the lead paint mitigation procedures to keep us safe. They thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, washed the new windows, and gave us initial training about the windows. Now it's winter and we know our windows are well insulated and perform as advertised. Great windows and great installation. Finally, we looked at different window manufacturer's products and decided we liked the look of the Andersen Renewal windows the best. They look great installed and are very well constructed. Two of my friends have also gone with the same windows and the same installer and are very pleased.

We requested an estimate which was provided by Certified Home Improvement, the local Renewal by Andersen dealer. The sales rep was knowledgable about the product and installation, as he had been an installer with the company. He was very responsive when we had subsequent questions after his initial visit. Once we chose them to do the work, he was once again very helpful in placing the order and describing what would happen from that point. The windows and door arrived in the time frame he estimated and we were able to schedule installation shortly after that. The installers were punctual and very clear in telling us what they would be doing. The installation was very well done and they were terrific in cleaning up their work area. The only difficulty I've had is in getting documentation of our purchase and installation to apply for an energy efficiency rebate from the local utility. The installers were supposed to remove and give me the Energy Star labels from each window. By the time, I had asked for them, they had already thrown several away. Its also been difficult getting an itemized receipt listing each window with the labor cost separated. Nevertheless, we are very happy with our purchase. The price is a bit on the high side, but we liked the design and construction of the windows better than some alternatives. They also offered more and did a better job of finishing trim inside and out than other estimates we got, so I feel the extra expense was worth it.

This project went extremely well. The estimate was accurate, the windows were exactly what we expected, the work was begun on time and finished in a matter of a week or so. When the installers were finished, the new windows and the door fit perfectly. Finishing work was done with care and an eye for even the smallest detail. Throughout the process we were only marginally inconvenienced. Windows were removed and immediately replaced so we never had to live with plastic sheeting over a gaping hole for days at a time. I was really impressed and would recommend both the company and the products any time.

I had massive problems with them. After the initial installation, I had problems so bad that the wind blew a match out inside of the house because of the draft. It took a few months to get it fixed. Their company had to build a special storm window to the storm window, so there are 4 panes of glass. The windows were terribly expensive.

It was about 8 weeks from contract to delivery. The job took six days to complete. It was a two man crew most of the time. They used a shop vacumn to contain dust as best they could. They took the blinds down and put them back up when finished. There was only one night that we had some blinds down while caulking dried. They cracked two tile when removing the old patio door. Fortunately, we had spare tiles and grout left over from construction, which they used to replace the broken tile. All work was completed at the contract price with no addtional charges. We did not pay anything until all work was completed. A few days later the handle on the door was loose. They came back right away and fixed it under warranty. The windows have not been tested with rain yet. We had 35+ mph winds on Dec 31st. Considering the gale force winds, the windows seem to be performing well. They look good, and are stout, solid windows.

The consultation appt was a good experience because the product offering was not complicated. Often times you get the price creep for features that most people want. With this company they don't offer a "economy aka garbage (my words)" level of product. The product is of high quality, from there you choose the type of glass, finish, configuration, etc. I liked not having to pay any $s at the time of ordering. The wait time from order to when my doors/windows arrived from the factory was about 6 weeks. Not sure if that is a long time or not, but wasn't a bother for me. The installers were great. They are contracted by Renewal by Anderson so not employees of Renewal, but my install team was great! They were ABKB Home Services. I will create a seperate post for them. Only one small surprise came a day or two after the installation. A person from the city came to inspect the job. Apparently a permit was filed which obviously Renewal did, but they didn't tell me about it nor told me to expect some one to show up to review the work. It was not big deal, the guy was in/out in a few minutes. One concern I had which I shared at the consultation appt was my dogs running thru the screens of the french doors. I was assured that Renewal would fix if that happened. About two weeks after installation... Yep... they did run thru the screen! And YEP, it was fixed at no charge. In fact, another two weeks after that.. the dogs did it again.. and Renewal fixed it again.. no charge. About two months after install, the french doors started to be difficult to close. I found that the weather stripping at the bottom of the door was sagging. Renewal responded promptly and sent some one to my house. The fix required a tweek to adjustable hinges (great feature of their product). The weather stripping was getting caught as when door opened/closed. All has been good ever since. I loved that the price agreed to was the price. It included the install, haulaway, moldings (interior/exterior), etc. At time of order I did pay to have Renewal do the finish of the doors & moldings rather than doing myself. Prior to install, the installer came over twice with samples to ensure color matched and was to my liking. During install, adjustments were needed to the frame for the doors (adding boards to frame for proper fit) which the installer dealt with and again, no added cost to me. Also, at the time of install, the width of the molding didn't look great and the installer suggested a wider width. Although it took another day or two to get the wider molding stained and installed, I wasn't charged for this change.
