This company covers Glen Haven, a village somewhat distant from Fort Collins. Their folks were excellent, both while scheduling the repair and during the repair itself.
Description of Work: Quickly diagnosed reason for the freezer being too warm. Found mouse nest obstructing fan; removed it; cleaned up neatly. Very reasonable fee considering the necessary travel time. Excellent tech.

They came here and look at it and they ordered parts and then fix it and it works great now. Our experience with them is pretty good. The guy that came here to do the work is very friendly and professional. He told us what was wrong and knowing that he did not have the parts, he immediately ordered it and came back as soon as he got it and installed it, so we're very pleased with the service.

The technician arrived at the appointment time and was very professional and cordial. Our Kenmore Neptune washer which we purchased in 2000 was no longer getting the water out of the clothes and out of the washer. Lee removed front and back panels and tested the controller board and the motor for functionality and determined that the motor was not turning over. The cause could be the controller board or the motor or both. He said that sometimes one will fail and then take the other one out.. One part could be replaced but if the other was bad then the newly replaced part would probably be damaged and then both it and the other part would need to be replaced. He said that to replace both parts would probably cost 400 to 5oo dollars plus labor to remove and replace them. This would be about half the cost of buying a new washer and didn't seem like a good choice since then we would still have a 12 year old machine that had been repaired. We decided to shop for a new washing machine. We were very glad to have spent the 70 dollars and have a clear understanding of our choices. We also very much appreciated that Lee and his company did not try and sell us a repair job that would have been expensive for us to buy the parts and pay to have them replaced.
Description of Work: The technician diagnosed the cause of our washing machine failing to spin the water out of the machine during the wash cycle.

Overall, the repair experience was as good as we expected. We've used Quick Appliance before, and they always have been good. The repairman told us what was broken and gave us a repair estimate. What he said was broken matched what were guessing. We opted not to repair the washer and buy a new one, since repairs exceeded half the cost of a new one. I'd used them again and would recommend them to friends asking about repairs. For us, the $60 service call charge is a bit pricey, but it's consistent with other repair service.
Description of Work: Our washing machine stopped working. We called Quick Appliance for repairs, since we've used them before. On arrival, the repairman disassembled the washer and found the problems. He told us what was broken, estimating $500 to repair.

On Thursday afternoon we discovered our dishwasher to be non-functioning. After checking Angie's List, we called Quick Appliance Repair Service and were able to get an appointment for 9 a.m. Friday avoiding a wait through the weekend with no dishwasher. Our repairman arrived promptly at 9, thoroughly checked and inspected the dishwasher parts and identified the problem which he explained in detail to us. He left the work area clean and we definitely will use this service in the future. We are very comfortable recommending Quick Appliance Repair to everyone.

This company sent someone over later the same day. He told me what he needed to order, shut off the water to the fridge, then hooked me back up. When the part came in, he came over within a few days to replace the ice maker. He was efficient and charged me what he told me he was going to. He was also polite and explained everything that I asked.
Description of Work: The ice maker in our refrigerator broke by first making and insane amount of ice one day, then sometime that night switched over to just spouting water. I found it drizzling water actively all over my hardwood floor the next morning.

I'm a brand new rental property owner (1 week) and a tenant called to say her dishwasher didn't clean the dishes and had excess standing water in the bottom. While checking that out I discovered the unit leaking underneath, which had ruined the floor. Ben came out and took a look, determining it wasn't worth repairing. It was worth every dime of the service call because he went through every appliance with me and told me what to look for, and how to do many simple repairs myself. This was invaluable to me as a newbie. I will most definitely use this company again.

I called and got a repair man to come in 1.5 hours and he was awesome. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He not only quickly replaced the parts that were sent to me for the recall, but he also put in a new circuit board I had bought online and put the dishwasher back in its hole and hooked it up. He stayed around and ran it for a while and made sure it worked and didn't leak. It's nice to see a repairman and company that are so professional. I didn't have to pay anything because it was a recall action, so I don't know how much they charge. Hugely positive experience with this company and David their repairman.
Description of Work: My Maytag dishwasher had a recall action, and after contacting Maytag (which is now owned by Whirlpool), they sent me a new inner door, insulation and wiring bundles. They gave me the option of contacting three local (Fort Collins, CO) authorized repair agents and after viewing Angie's List I selected Quick Appliance Repair and am glad I did.

They sent a guy out right away and he was really nice. He said it was out of his field of expertise but he would shut the water off to it and send somebody else out. Five days later someone else came out and he said it wasn't the icemaker, it was the defroster that was leaking and he would need to replace it for $700. The refrigerator was really old and needed another repair that would be $800 so he said I should probably buy a new one. We didn't want to buy a new one because we have all white appliances and we want to switch over to stainless steel. I wanted to get it fixed and the guy said that he would give us time to thank about it and he went back to the shop. He called about 1 1/2 hours later and said they had a year old Jennaire that had never been used and they could give us a good deal on it. I have a built in and the refrigerator sets in a cabinet so it has to be specifically sized. He had measured and said that the refrigerator should work. We decided to go for it and it took two guys forever to get it out because it is top heavy. The new one didn't fit; it was 1/8 of an inch off. The company was very accommodating and they went to an appliance store here in Greeley and got another one for us to use until we bought a new one. They told us they wouldn't charge us for the refrigerator that didn't fit and they accidentally did. The guy was really nice and supposedly removed the charge off the charge card. They were really personable but I was a little disappointed that they took so long to come back.

The tech arrived when he said he would and after looking it over discovered that it was the compressor that was making the noise. The fridge is pretty old (maybe 30 years?) and he recommended that it would probably be better to just replace it rather than spend over $300 repairing it. This fridge is a secondary fridge/freezer and so it's not a major disaster if it does quit working. We are going to look around at used and new fridges and then decide if we want to repair it or not.

The repairman was very punctual and courteous to me, my kids, and my dog during his visit. He originally needed to replace a fuse and needed to order the part but "temporarily fixed" the dishwasher for use in the meantime. When he came to replace the fuse, he discovered something else about the dishwasher and recommended that we not replace the fuse, but replace the whole dishwasher. He even recommended brands that he doesn't have to work on often. We were not charged the 2nd visit fee or the charge of the fuse. We appreciated his honesty and expert opinions on our next dishwasher.

I left a message for the company the night before. I had a return call within 2 hours of their opening for business the following day. We set a 3 pm appointment and the technician called about 15 minutes before the appointment and arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment. He fixed the oven within 20 minutes of arrival and was quick and professional.

EXCELLENT. I WENT TO THE IN-SINK_ERATOR WEBSITE TO DETERMINE IF MY DISPOSAL WAS UNDER WARRANTY. IT WAS CLOSE SO I E-MAILED THEM. THEY DETERMINED IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY SO I WENT BACK TO THE WEBSITE TO SEE WHO THE LOCAL AUTHORIZED SERVICE FACILITY WAS. CONTACTED THEM. THEY CAME OUT. CONFIRMED IT WAS A WARRANTY COVERED REPAIR, ORDERED THE PART AND RETURNED TO REPLACE IT A WEEK LATER.
